1380 To Slaughter A God Part 1

Name:Badge in Azure Author:Deathstate
The Moon of Massacre flew up and met the massive electric current. Then, there was a howling sound as it plopped to the ground. Fycro was stunned. He wanted to retrieve the godly item, but it seemed to be attacked heavily by something above, causing Fycro to spit up fresh blood and lose communication with his weapon.

He made a decision on the spot: a white radiance lit up beneath his feet. He wanted to retreat. His original body had suffered an attack and now there was an ambush here, crushing his godly item. This was definitely not by chance; it was a battlefield set in place by his enemies.

It didn't matter if his godly item had been crushed. As long as the person existed, the weapon could still be found and taken back.

Despite Fycro's swift movements and adequate reaction time, Saleen would never allow him to escape. The lightning territory instantly expanded. Countless bolts of lightning struck from the sky, hitting the white radiance beneath Fycro's feet.

The Road of Glory vanished. Although the lightning was insufficient to kill a person, it was powerful enough to destroy this type of movement skill.

The area between Fycro's eyebrows abruptly split open, turning into a third eye that tore through the mist and focused on Saleen and Rafel rushing toward him.

Saleen's Thunder Dragon Blaster attacked relentlessly for three kilometers. It's just that maximum effectiveness was at 500 meters: If he wanted to kill Fycro, he had to get closer to his target.

Rafael's movement speed was fast enough, just a step faster than Saleen's. Her body turned into a beam of red light and released the intense sound of a sonic boom. The trees on both sides of her fell into pieces; a sharp wind-elemental spear formed in front of her body.

This weapon had been crafted from the Goddess's godly power. The Goddess of Nature was born a mage. After becoming a god, even though she could no longer use any magic spells, her divine spells were often as effective as magic spells.

The attack power of this wind-elemental spear might not be that high. It's most common use would be to increase Rafel's movement without being affected by air resistance.

In 15 seconds, Rafel rushed up to Fycro and stabbed him between the eyebrows. In response, the eye between them withdrew and shot out a violent beam of radiance.

The six eyes on Rafel's spear opened simultaneously and formed a leaf-shaped image that reduced the intensity of the strong light. Rafel's spear grazed against Fycro's body but did not hit it dead on.

With a sweep of the spear, a few dozen sturdy vines immediately sprouted out from the ground and bound Fycro's body. His body shook frantically as threads of white light emerged, slicing apart the vines one by one.

Rafel cried out. Her entire body released a red radiance from top to bottom that smelled like rusted metal. Fycro immediately felt that his body was not responding to his summons, as if he had been hit by a mage's fossilization spell.

This was not a fossilization spell, but a type of the Metal God's territory within which all materials would degenerate. Like corroded metal, they would lose their strength and power.

Fycro raised his hand to release a divine spell, but his five fingers were broken with a cracking sound.

Fycro was not a true god. His body still had bones. Even a true god could dissolve its bones after reaching level-16. The Metal God's territory controlled all metals, and the bones themselves were also a type of metal. It's just that they had a different form compared to ordinary metals.

"Purify!" Fycro was shocked. His opponent was actually an angel of the same level. The most terrifying part about this angel was that it believed in two gods. His Moon of Massacre was not present, and he lacked the means to crush it with one blow.

A radiance once again emerged from Fycro's body; dark-red rust fell to the ground from the surface of his body.

"Metal Storm!" Rafel was going all out now. Saleen had given her sufficient godly power, enabling her to use divine spells. If they didn't attack with all their strength and this pseudo god escaped, next time he attacked, his first target would not be Saleen but her, the angel.

As Fycro retreated, he became engulfed in the Metal Storm. Behind him was a large 200-meter-wide path. The knights and ascetics emerged. Fycro was overcome with despair, unable to voice his sufferings: These people had all been sent to their deaths!

The Metal Storm immediately expanded. Apart from Fycro and Rafel, everything within a 500-meter radius had been ground to pieces and turned into powder. The metal threads that filled the place were still wreaking havoc. They were formed with godly power. Anyone below level-13 would not be able to withstand an attack. If Rafel had not had the replenishment of godly power Saleen had given her, her attack would have rendered her useless. After this, her rank could have fallen to level-11 or even level-10.

Fortunately, the Goddess of Nature was benevolent. Rafel had access to her godly power. This paradoxical Metal Storm caused most of Fycro's strong subordinates to be caught up in it and all of them were killed. Even the warriors below level-10 who were more than 500 meters away could not resist it. The area enveloped by the Metal Storm had reached a diameter of more than 1,500 meters.

The battle angel's methods of massacre far surpassed a mage's.

If it was one-to-one, Saleen might still hope to beat Rafel if he relied on his equipment. If a few angels of Rafel's level were present, not even Saleen would be their match.

Fycro was in an awkward position. Saleen had caught up with them. He released the Violet Angel, picked up the Moon of Massacre from the ground, and tossed it into his own magic amplifier. In doing so, Fycro completely lost contact with his godly item.

Saleen's magic amplifier now comprised 27 eyes. Within each eye was space. These spaces could communicate mutually. Like the 24 states of the elements, they were not fixed but ever-changing.

No matter how high Fycro's god, there was no way he could recapture the Moon of Massacre.

Fycro was livid. If the Moon of Massacre and the Mirror of Fate had separated, their usefulness would immediately decrease by 90%. Most of his strength had been drawn from these two godly items.

Saleen glared frostily at Fycro to prevent this enemy, the strongest he had ever encountered, from escaping. Now that Fycro's original body was being harassed by Jason with no means of escape, if he killed this clone, he would rush to assist his teacher.

With two against one, they would defeat their enemy.

"God says..." From Fycro's body, Holy Prose burst forth, as if countless gaps had been split open.

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up..." Saleen used Thundering Sound to explode at this skill successively, stubbornly forcing Fycro to stop reciting prayers.

The Power of the Soul condensed, enabling Saleen's Thundering Sound skill to increase and disable someone's level-13 skill.

Fycro was both embarrassed and angry. His divine-spell skill had been interrupted by a level-11 mage. But his time, there were no subordinates to focus on him. There was a kilometer of an empty space behind him created by Rafel's Metal Storm.

Fycro's heart ached as if he were weeping tears of blood. Most of his strongest subordinates had been within this area. He relied on them to attack and destroy the magic net. In the end, because of a battle angel's god's territorial skill, these people had all been killed.

The six eyes on Rafel's spear opened, and a green energy ring spun around the spear. One part was sent into her body to replenish the power she had consumed to release the territory. The other part of it formed a complex divine rune on her spear.

If this spear pierced Fycro's body, he would never recover from his wounds.

Fycro's terror intensified: This battle angel knew what she was going! If she struck him, there would be no chance of escape.

Escape? Why do I have to escape! I'm a god...

Poof...

A gigantic golden claymore punctured Fycro's body. The magic amplifier's Weapon's Spirit had silently appeared and got him with one strike. The golden claymore caused half Fycro's energy body to harden, which in turn disabled the use of divine spells to escape.

The third eye on Fycro's forehead opened once more, shooting thin beams of light at Saleen. In Fycro's eyes, all were brutal. There was not even a shred of similarity with his usual appearance.

"Saleen, let us die together!"

Bang...

Saleen's body shattered into a thousand pieces. What was left standing was one of Saleen's Thundering Phantasms.

Beams of exploding light reached five or more kilometers before extinguishing. Where the light passed, all life vanished. Trees withered. The earth cracked. Any life form that had a soul was shattered to bits.

"You want to leave?" Saleen saw Fycro's drooping body as if he was dead. With a gesture of his hand, the Lightning Constellation shot down even more electric currents from the sky that encapsulated Fycro's surrounding space. Not even a flea would be able to get through.

"Argh...oof!" Fycro's silhouette surfaced within the electric current. Rafel's face was cool as ice as she switched to her Inferno Spear. A red light ejected from the tip of her spear pierced Fycro's chest.

"Nooo!"

Fycro felt that the spear had numerous weapons mixed in it. Each weapon brought with it a god's brand. At his level, it was impossible to withstand this god's power.

Rafel downed Fycro with one strike and immediately disengaged. She merely released a few attacks. Each time, she mobilized all the power in her body. She had been able to hold out up till now by relying on the godly power Saleen had given her.

Each time an angel without a god attacked an enemy, it was suicide.

With a thundering sound, Saleen tossed out the Lightning Cage and locked up Fycro's two bodies inside. He did not know how to completely kill Fycro. But after being locked up in the Lightning Cage, even if Fycro was a level-15 god, he would have to expend some effort to escape. It was not something that could be done in a few months.

"Rafel, are you alright?"

Rafel put away her Inferno Spear, gritted her teeth and answered coolly, "No problem!"

"Go kill those disciples. I'll go help, Jason." After Saleen said this, he flew to the left without looking back.

Rafel pivoted. On the large path in front of her was a large number of the Holy See's army troops rushing forth. They were crammed in the 200-meter-wide path.

"I lead a life of battle!" Rafel sighed as she raised her spear and darted over. Behind her, the Violet Angel retrieved its War Drum of Fear and secretly thought: Master allowed me to stay behind. If I don't help, the consequences will be dire...

The Violet Angel's way of thinking was not wrong. Saleen had not given him a specific order, but if he was lazy, Saleen would not mind refining him again and wiping out his memories. If he wanted to blend in, he had to put in more effort. There were so many people at Saleen's side, but he might stand out.

The Violet Angel thought up to this point, then raised the bone mace and smashed it heavily.

Thud, thud, thud...

The booming sound of a war drum filled the forest. The Holy See's vanguard troops already had bloodshot; they came for the sake of risking their lives to go all out. Hearing the drumbeat made the troops disorderly.
