Chapter 7：Kill the Sadistic Dog-Head Man

Name: Yi Qiu

Class: Monk (LV1) class has been locked, the lowest level cannot fall below level 1.

Life value: 90% (Life value determines health, stamina. When it is below 10%, the person is weak and has no strength. When it is less than 5%, the person will be in shock, when it drops to 0%, the person will be dead.)

Ki: 40/40 (Ki is the source of a Monk's power when one uses Monk skills, one has to consume Ki.)

Strength: 11 (Strength determines the strength of muscles and one's physical body.)

Agility: 10 (Agility decides reaction and thinking speed, hand-eye coordination and balance.)

Physique: 10 (Physique determines Life value and resistance.)

Intelligence: 10 (Intelligence determines one's learning and inferring ability.)

Charm: 9 (Charm decides one's charisma, persuasion, personal attraction, leadership ability and external attraction.)

Senses: 12 (Senses decide one's mental strength, judgment, sensory ability and intuition.)

Bloodline Ability:

Prayer (Rare): Ignite the ancient special power that is hiding in your bloodline, receiving the ability to affect fate.

Effect: In the next 10 minutes, you will obtain -2-2 lucky fluctuations every minute.

Once the prayer effect ends, you wouldn't be able to use it for the next 7 days, if not you might die.

Class skills:

Lv1 Flurry of Blows (Common): When one is empty-handed, after launching an attack, you can consume Ki to launch an extra attack. The strength of this extra attack is in direct correlation with the consumed Ki amount, but it cannot exceed your strongest strike.

Lv1 Unarmed Attack (Common): All your unarmed attacks will obtain 10% damage buff, including but not limited to: Fists, elbow and legs. 

Condition:

Bald Head Explosive Strike (Rare): When one is bald, it is easier for you to deal critical hits to your enemy.

Effect: Critical rate increased by 5%

Overall Evalutation: Challenge level 1

After a week of training, Yi Qiu's strength and physique both increased by one point. However, he hadn't completed the first layer of Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique. Yi Qiu estimated that if he completed the first layer, the Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique could allow his Strength and Physique to both reach 12. Each point added in the Integrated Network stats would be a 0.5 times increase from before. This meant that a person with 11 points in Strength had 0.5 times more power than someone with 10 points and someone with 12 points had 2.25 times more strength than someone with 10 points in power.

Each point added was a huge change, just like before when Yi Qiu had only 9 points which was why he was weak and sickly. If he didn't pay attention he would fall sick. However, now his physique reached 10 points, the level of a normal person. Normally speaking, if he didn't ask to fall sick, the chances of him ending up in the hospital would be much lower. 

Of course, the most important thing was that there was a new dungeon. The pumpkin field dungeon had reset. Yi Qiu now had two choices. One was to open a new dungeon and the second was to challenge a different difficulty of the pumpkin field dungeon.

Yi Qiu thought about it. He estimated that although his stats had increased, he still felt uneasy thinking about that Brown Tooth Boar. He had no choice before, but now with a new dungeon he could change it up, one could only last long if one lived based on what the heart wanted.

Solo random dungeon (Difficulty: Easy) after passing the simple dungeon one can unlock other difficulties.

Unlocked dungeon:

Challenge Lv1 - Pumpkin Field ravaged by boar (Simple, Hard). After succeeding hard difficulty, one can unlock elite difficulty.

Yi Qiu thought about it and still chose the simple difficulty. After all he won the previous time with much difficulty. Although one would just be weak for 24 hours when they died, it really didn't feel good and it wasted a lot of time.

The main thing was that his combat strength didn't increase by much.

11 points of Strength was the same as a regular person who worked out. Although he had Unarmed Attack and Zephyr Successive Strikes buffing him, he probably couldn't fight the wild boar head-on.

Dungeon requirements: Kill the Sadistic Dog-Head Man

Along with the familiar dizzy feeling, Yi Qiu opened his eyes and noticed that he came to a dark cave. The cave wasn't that tall. With Yi Qiu's height he had to bend down to move about. However, it was quite wide. If not for the broken pieces of stone around, Yi Qiu could even drive a small car in.

Many candles were placed on the walls on the two sides of the cave. They were made of an unknown material, they were really thick and huge. In the air was the thick smell of candles burning.

Yi Qiu took out a can of pepper spray with his left hand and then held a javelin in his right. After equipping himself, he sneakily headed deep into the cave. The requirement of this dungeon was to kill the Sadistic Dog-Head Man. Toward the Dog-Head Man, Yi Qiu's deepest impression was that bunch of short kids with candles in Azeroth. He felt that they weren't too hard to deal with. Although there might be a large number of them, he felt that it was less threatening that the Brown Tooth Boar.

He walked for a short distance and he heard a clanging sound. He gripped the pepper spray in his hands tightly, avoiding the stone pieces on the ground as he walked toward the sound.

Since candles were sporadically placed, the cave wasn't pitch-black. The cave layout was a little complicated so Yi Qiu's field of vision wasn't very wide.

Suddenly, the hitting sound stopped! A rustling sound got close quickly!

Yi Qiu held up the pepper spray and aimed at the darkness in front of him, he couldn't help but panic a little. In the depths of that pitch-black cave, that living being drew close quickly... Although he knew that it might just be a meter-tall Dog-Head Man, to normal people it was still a huge psychological pressure.

"Si si." Light spread out from the corner in front. A weird black shadow... a long pangolin ran out...

Yi Qiu: ???

Didn't they say that it was a Dog-Head Man, why did a pangolin run out? This pangolin should be the Dog-Head Man's coolie, on its back it was still carrying a bunch of stone.

"Si." The pepper spray irritated the pangolin's eyes. To wild animals, not only could it blind them, but it could also make them violent. Of course, this move was only suitable against beings of the same speed. If you faced cat-like things then don't take it out. After all you had to hit their eyes with the pepper spray. However to cat species, especially those large ones, you might as well just spray it on your own body. Maybe they didn't like spicy things and would let you off. Of course it might infuriate them and you could die an even worse death.

"Si si!" The pangolin cried out and ran quickly back. What it returned with was a chaotic commotion.

"Wang wang!" As the light got close, Yi Qiu heard a sharp dog-like sound. 

A Dog-Head Man holding a whip ran out. Behind it was a bunch of Dog-Men carrying shovels. Yi Qiu stood on the spot and didn't move. There were still some remnants of the pepper spray mist in front of him and the ground made it tough to run. However, if he dashed in front, he would definitely suffer worse damage and if he fell, well than that would be GG. 

"Si." He continued to toss pepper spray and quicklime. What was worth mentioning was that Yi Qiu noticed that as long as the things he brought didn't touch the living beings in the dungeon, he could bring them back out. This was something he noticed after he found the first vegetable knife he had lost in the pumpkin field. Speaking of which, the pumpkin field was a decent place to train in. However, the pumpkins that the Brown Tooth Boar had chewed on started to decompose and the smell was so disgusting. Yi Qiu couldn't be bothered cleaning up the mess so he decided on training in the park instead.

"Wang wang!" The Dog-Head Man hadn't experienced such a situation before. After all, the adventurers before either held blades or swords and charged at them or threw fireballs in. This never before experienced pain caused the timid bunch of them to scream and scatter.

But, what surprised Yi Qiu was that the Dog-Head Man holding the whip bore the pain, closed his eyes and charged over!

"Pu" The javelin stabbed into the Dog-Head Man that charged over based on solely his hearing sense, but before Yi Qiu was able to pull out, he whipped Yi Qiu!

"Si!" Although the whip didn't hurt much, the intense pain made Yi Qiu suck in a deep cold breath.

Yi Qiu tugged at the javelin but because it was stuck in bone, he was unable to pull it out. Yi Qiu tossed it away and headed forward with his bare hands!

Adrenaline was pumping in his veins! Yi Qiu clenched his fists, his right hand smacking into the left face of the Dog-Head Man! 11 points of Strength was an unblockable amount to the Dog-Head Man as it pretty much flew backward! But at that moment, Yi Qiu's left hand smacked into the right of the Dog-head Man's face after being buffed by Ki with a speed that the naked eye couldn't catch. This fist was much heavier than before as the Dog-Head Man flew from the impact!

It smacked onto the wall of the cave. With a "dong" sound, it rebounded onto the ground. The candle on its head was squeezed into a pile of mess by the wall and as for the whip, who knew where it flew to.

Yi Qiu took out a javelin and then stabbed it into the Dog-Head Man's throat!

"You killed Sadistic Dog-Head Man, you obtained 15 Experience Points."

"Sadistic Dog-Head Man has been recorded into your Adventure Manual."
