Chapter 21：Probably Interested After Seeing Looks

Dragon-Lis mostly weren't close to people, but if you fed them the fish snacks they loved, then the situation would be different.

It would use its head to brush against your legs and then beg for food. It would make you misunderstand that you are its owner.

But when it was full, you would know that it was the true master and in that short moment of gentleness, it was just being nice. 

"So you want to eat this?" Yi Qiu picked up a piece of juicy steak and waved it at the Dragon-Li.

What was worth mentioning was that the Dragon-Li was orange in color.

"Miao!" The Dragon-Li glanced at Yi Qiu and then used its yellow-green eyes to stare right at... the juicy steak in his hand.

Yi Qiu touched his bald head. He stood up and placed the juicy steak by the balcony.

The Dragon-Li warily took a few steps back. Once Yi Qiu moved aside, it ran beside the steak that Yi Qiu placed and after slashing at it with its claws, it chewed it up and then jumped onto the drying rack beside it. It then disappeared from Yi Qiu's field of sight.

Yi Qiu touched his bald head. Speaking of which, ever since he became bald he loved to touch his own head, it felt really good to touch.

Teacher Jia who lived beside him didn't raise any cats. However, he recalled that someone said that Teacher Jia had moved and he didn't know who was living there now.

After all, apart from heading to the park to train in Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique, he would stay at home. He was pretty much a stay home nerd.

He then noticed the replies were all disses...

Yi Qiu summarised all of their thoughts: Eight Gates couldn't be forcefully opened. Apart from opening the Gate of Death, Eight Gates wouldn't cause one's body to explode.

Erm, Yi Qiu touched his bald head. He flipped open the Integrated Network Newbie Manual, using his memory to find an answer.

"Integrated Network Rule 485, if you feel that there is a slight difference between the technique you learned and the technique you remembered, Integrated Network expresses that it has the final say on such matters."

That was awkward. Yi Qiu was prepared to analyze animes like Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Onichichi, it seemed like there was a difference with what was expected.

After finishing the juicy steak, Yi Qiu closed his laptop and was prepared to head out to train in Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique.

While passing by the supermarket, Yi Qiu was prepared to buy some ingredients since those at home were nearly finished.

The owner of the supermarket was surnamed Chen, the middle-aged man was slightly fat, the typical supermarket owner's look. Yi Qiu was quite familiar with him.

"I haven't seen you in quite a few days, what are you buying?" Owner Chen warmly greeted Yi Qiu and passed him a cigarette.

"Buying some condiments, those at home are all finished." Yi Qiu took the cigarette and walked toward the condiment aisle.

Although it was a small supermarket, it had everything. Although the brands weren't new, the prices were really affordable.

Salt, cooking wine, cinnamon... Yi Qiu chose everything and took a large amount of them because he was too lazy to make so many trips and condiments were able to last for a long time.

"A total of 143, you can just give me 140." Owner Chen weighed the condiments that Yi Qiu took and then pressed his calculator a few times. Then, he helped place everything into a small bag.

"Okay." Yi Qiu paid and just as he was about to leave, a woman walked in:

She wasn't tall, roughly 160-170cm, around Yi Qiu's height. She wore a white winter dress and there was a furry cartoon scarf around her neck. Long black and silky hair rested on her shoulder, revealing her clean face. Her eyes were bright, giving off a very studious and demure aura.

The sun was shining really bright and the supermarket door faced the east. When she entered, sunlight shone onto her face. Yi Qiu felt like the world had become grey and that this person was the only thing left in front of him. 

Time seemed to have stopped, like a picture that stopped in place.

In the next moment, Yi Qiu's beating heart calmed down. He moved aside and allowed her to enter. He then walked out, keeping a straight face. 

Was there really love at first sight, it was just people being attracted to physical appearances. 

Yi Qiu wasn't surprised, he just didn't use charm to prove it.

Yi Qiu lit up the cigarette that Owner Chen gave him and he inhaled deeply. It was slightly bitter, it didn't feel rough, but really smooth. 

Some people had only one such love in their life, but that short moment was actually enough.

Yi Qiu tossed the cigarette, using his leg to extinguish it. He was a bald man that was going to be extraordinary, how could he sink under such lowly things like love? 

He was turning to leave when he heard Owner Chen's voice:

"Teacher Yu, what are you buying?"

It was lunchtime once Yi Qiu finished training his Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique. He started to marinate the wolf meat once he returned.

Based on the recipe he found, he soaked it in cold water and then added in a lot of spices to stew it. 

As expected, the brown Dragon-Li came over once more.

Truthfully cats wouldn't recognize a master, especially natural cats like these. If one raised it from young and treated it well, it would treat you as a good... good slave.

The wolf meat wasn't done, so Yi Qiu took a juicy pork chop and placed it on the balcony.

The reason why Yiu Qui gave it the pork chop was because he was afraid the wolf meat couldn't be eaten. After all, it was deep in his memory, it was extremely smelly and the texture was really rough. He also guessed that he would have to stew the wolf meat for a long time.

Yi Qiu used his chopsticks to poke the wolf meat. He probably wouldn't be able to have it for lunch so he started to eat the pork chop.

His soul weakness had passed, so today he was going to attempt the Hard difficulty pumpkin field!

After the familiar dizziness, Yi Qiu appeared in the pumpkin field. The air was thick with the smell of pumpkin. 

This time, Yi Qiu didn't want to spray it with quicklime and pepper spray. He wanted to fight it face to face!
