Chapter 30：Prayer (Mythical)

"Your Bloodline Ability: Prayer has been strengthened."

"Due to your bloodline model: Human, you can choose one of the following as your strengthening direction:

1. Prayer (Rare): Through long periods of igniting Bloodline Ability, one can obtain longer lasting luck value (Might not be positive). This choice is based on Bloodline Ability, born from the foundations of Prayer. 

2. Sacrifice (Rare): By sacrificing yourself or some specified item to gain luck points (might not be positive), must have Living Being Bloodline Mode activated to see effect. 

Character Bloodline Mode: Human is a living being, requirements met, this choice is based on Bloodline Mode and human's special stats.

3. Offering (Mythical): By offering something specified to obtain luck (definitely positive), must have human Bloodline Mode activated (Human Bloodline Mod. Human, is a human being, requirements met), this choice is based on igniting human Bloodline Ability. Prayer effect will only appear after an hour, otherwise, one needs to complete certain conditions before it will appear.

Yi Qiu took a close look at the three choices:

The first one was called Prayer, its effect was to increase the buff time but it needed a longer time to activate. Yi Qiu rubbed his head and thought about it. He felt like it was useless. If it was instantly activated, it was quite a good battle buff.

If he met someone with higher luck than him in battle, then that would be really good, for example, he might get critical strikes. But if he got an extremely high negative value, it wouldn't be good. The final destination was a good reference.

But this couldn't be used instantly, so he could only use it to open boxes and merge bloodlines.

But Yi Qiu felt that with his hand speed, such a long time was useless. So this Bloodline Ability choice was useless.

As for the second one, it looked decent, its effect was similar to the third one. Moreover, if he participated in the sacrifice, he would gain a luck buff. Although it might not be positive, Yi Qiu was not prepared to use it to fight anyway.

Even if it was negative, he would just use it again.

Thus, Yi Qiu made a choice:

*Cough* Actually, with Yi Qiu's intelligence, he couldn't see the pros and cons of the 2nd and 3rd choices. After all, it was something he had no experience in. Education mostly from fill in the blank style teaching and logic methods were totally useless...

But relying on... many years of gaming experience and 12 senses, he felt that choosing the higher quality one wouldn't be a wrong choice!

Yi Qiu never felt that he was smart, the 10 points in intelligence clearly told him that he belonged to those who if they didn't work hard would be nothing. Thus, he chose to believe his own intuition!

Yi Qiu suddenly understood why sometimes even if he didn't understand textbooks, he could still pass English in his 4 years of University. As expected, senses saved the dumb people!

After raising his Bloodline Ability, Yi Qiu was prepared to increase his Monk level. He now had 11,840 Experience!

Yi Qiu's current Monk Level was 4. Going from 4 to 5 required 10,000 Experience. If not for the huge rewards from clearing the Pumpkin Field Ravaged by Wild Boar, he would have needed at least half a month to get to level 5.

Purity of Body: Use Ki to strengthen immune system and form a protective net to be immune from illness.

Ki surged but it wasn't rampant. Yi Qiu felt like he was in a sauna and it felt really hot. The coldness from before had totally disappeared.

After a period of time, Yi Qiu felt that the Ki had made his body more alive. All his illnesses were taken away by the new cells. Yi Qiu's Reflex Dodge Ki layer became much tighter, blocking outside illnesses from entering.

With this inner and outer protection, it was impossible for Yi Qiu to fall sick. Unless it was a magically caused illness whereby small particles couldn't be blocked at all, with his strengthened immune system, Yi Qiu would recover really quickly.

In conclusion, Yi Qiu was immune to normal illnesses. He wouldn't be immune from magical and supernatural illnesses but he would recover quickly.

A regret was that it couldn't cure soul weakness, however, Yi Qiu was still really happy to recover from the cold.

He touched his wet bald head. As illnesses flowed out of his body in the form of liquid, Yi Qiu was drenched. 

After having a good bath, Yi Qiu was prepared to open the chest!

Barren Gold Mine Dungeon Clear Chest and the Dungeon Chest of the Validated. Yi Qiu waited for these two chests for a long time. He used his new Bloodline Ability: Prayer, and then a notification appeared on his retina screen:

"Gathering data of your realm..."

1. Food: Offer three times the food to obtain luck value (Based on food quality, food must be validated by the Integrated Network)

2. Blood: Offering no less than 100L of fresh blood to gain luck (Based on blood quality, blood must be validated). Moreover, there is a small chance to obtain a permanent increase.

3. Treasure offering: Offer rare quality and above items to obtain temporary luck buff (Based on item quality and level). Moreover, there is a small chance to obtain a permanent increase.

4: Human offering: Offer at least 9 intelligent beings to obtain a permanent luck increase (Might result in human's tendencies to move toward being evil)"
