The salesgirls saw her and frowned. When they saw her clothes, they ignored her and continued to tend to the lady.

Granted, in her current assembles of Uniqlo Star Wars T-shirt and jeans, she was a little out of place here but that does not mean that they can treat her with disrespect.

Annoyed, she cleared her throat loudly. Finally, the cashier begrudgingly went over to serve her.

Pointing at the tie in the display, Kai Xin said, "I want that. It's a gift. Please wrap it up for me."

The cashier looked at Kai Xin's clothes and sneered, "That tie is very expensive. It's a limited edition."

"I know."

"Are you sure you can afford it?" said the cashier. She did not think that this person would be able to afford anything in the shop.

Everything here goes up to tens of thousands of dollars.

The cashier smirked, "It would not be good if you become broke just to keep up with the Joneses."

Kai Xin smiled at her as she leaned against the counter, "Obviously I can afford it."

Pointing a finger at the cashier, with an apathetic tone, she added "Although, with an attitude like yours, I think you are the one who would be unable to afford anything here. If I were you, I would focus more on my job and stop talking unnecessarily. Now, be a good girl and wrap it up for me."

Kai Xin was usually friendly to people but she had no time to deal with any judgmental person especially not this little cashier in front of her who dared to openly mock a customer.

The cashier's face turned red as she noticed her colleagues smirking at her. "T-that would be $15,000."

Without a thought, Kai Xin rummaged through her bag and took out her personal credit card, "I'll pay by card."

When she left the store, the woman earlier went up to the sales clerk and asked for the same tie. She wanted to get it for her friend.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Song." The cashier bowed in apologies. Her attitude was completely different, "Even if that customer did not buy it, that silk bear tie is of limited edition and each store carries only one."

Disappointed, the woman named Song left the store. She would have to buy something else for her friend.

Kai Xin arrived at AVENGE, the bar she bought three years back under her friend Phantom's name. She had bought it using the money DX gave her in the first year of their relationship. That spendthrift had even gave her a bonus at the end of the year.

When she asked him about the million dollar that magically appeared in her account, he merely shrugged and said dismissively, "You have served me well."

Initially, she was worried that given her lackadaisical attitude towards him, she would be unable to maintain a relationship with DX for a long period of time. Thus, after doing some research, she decided to invest the money in a profit making business.

The bar became popular after the first year of its opening and it eventually generated enough income for her, Ghost and Phantom to live comfortably. In addition to the side income, the most important thing about AVENGE was that it provided them with a safe space to talk at.

She went into the VIP Room in the ground floor and pulled a hidden lever that opened up a hidden pathway behind the wall supporting the entertainment systems. The pathway led to the first floor room.

When she went up, the first thing she saw was a guy with brightly dyed red hair and he was wearing a lightly tinted sunglasses in the dark room.

Next to him sat a fair skinned guy who was handsome enough to be a movie star. The two were battling it out on Fortnite. Besides the couch was a wheelchair.

"Did you ask me here just to watch you two geeks play games?" She complaint when the two ignored her presence.

When he heard her, the redhead turned around. Smiling brightly at her, he waved her over as he urged her to join them. "You are here! Come join us!"

She placed her purchases on the antique mahogany oak table and joined them at the couch.

Her eyes held a coldness as she stared at the two men in front of her. Crossing her legs, she asked the two oversized kids, "Why, Ghost?"

The redhead heard her using his name and sighed. He knew that he could no longer ignore her so he blew up his avatar without giving any notice to his teammate. "You heard her. Gameover, Phantom."
