Back at Hotel W, the reporters were waiting for a response from DX. After a while, he placed his phone back into his pocket before he stood up and walked to the podium.

As he looked at the reporters who were waiting for his response, he said, "Ms. Zhen is not what you think she is."

One of the three directors who was talking to Director Song earlier stood up as he asked angrily, "We have witnesses, President Du! Instead of a virtuous woman like Ms. Song, you chose a woman with that kind of background! Just how long do you intend to protect her?"

Facing him, DX pointed out, "Director An Yuan, you do not know her. You have never even talked to her before."

"All I know is that a b*itch like her would bring down the company that my father helped to build!" snapped Director An Yuan. He knew of his own shortcomings. If anything happened to the company, he would be unable to survive. For someone who was used to a rich lifestyle, anything less would be considered as torture.

"On account of your long term service to the company, I'll let the remark slide just this once. Do not test my patience, An Yuan," said DX as he glared at the pudgy looking, Director An Yuan. His fingers were holding onto the side of the podium so tightly that it turned white.

"With all due respect, President Du," said Director Song as he stood up. He waved his hand at the crowd before asking, "I'm sure everyone here is just concern about the identity and behavior of our future Madam President Du..."

He shook his head and gave a disappointed sigh before saying, "Such an immoral woman...How can you, as our president, accepts a woman like her...After all, a child born of this kind of woman… How can-"

'BANG!'

DX slammed his right fist down on the podium so hard that the wooden surface cracked. His migraine was returning and when he heard Director Song's ugly words, it started to hurt badly.

He was not about to have anyone insult his woman or his unborn child. With blood trickling down from the opened wound caused by his earlier action, he pointed at Director Song as he snarled, "You shut your damn mouth!"

"Look at yourself! You are not being your normal self! She has bewitched you!" pointed out Director Song fearlessly.

DX glared at him as he took a step towards him menacingly. When he saw DX's darkened face, Director Song felt threatened and he fell back onto his couch.

As she watched, even Song Qiao was worried. No one had ever seen DX losing control before. She quickly turned her wheelchair around and pleaded, "XiAn, my father meant well!"

Afraid that DX might lose it, Han Ye rushed out to stop him. It took all his strength to hold DX back.

"Think of Ms. Zhen, President Du! You need to calm down!" whispered Han Ye as he tried to keep his boss in place.

DX looked at Han Ye and then turned to look at the reporters who were snapping away. With his eyes shut, he tried to think of Kai Xin and their unborn child.

He could not be embroiled in another problem when his utmost priority was to make sure that their child was born safely. Once their child was born, he was going to attack launch an all-out on Ye Family and Luo Family. With the election coming up soon, it would be the best time for him to do it.

"I cannot get angry here…" thought DX as he tried to calm himself down.

He gently pulled his hand away from Han Ye and whispered, "Callum is probably at the office. I need you to call Layla and make sure that she's with Kai Xin."

Han Ye nodded. He looked at DX for a couple more seconds before he went back to his original place behind the curtains.

Director Song nearly had a heart attack when he saw DX stalking towards him earlier. He had never felt so scared for his life before. He had a feeling that regardless of the presence of all the reporters, DX was seriously contemplating whether to kill him on the spot.

DX took a towel from one of the hotel staff and thanked him before standing back on the podium.

As he pressed the towel tightly against his opened wound, he looked at the reporters and apologized, "Sorry for the outburst. I just hate it when someone talks about my woman in such a disrespectful manner...If you have any questions, please think carefully before you speak."

When he saw a couple of hands shot up, he ignored most of them and chose the female reporter who was holding her hand up meekly.

"You there...What's your question?" said DX as he looked at the reporter.

The female reporter glanced around her and it was only that DX nodded at her that she stood up. She was a total nerd, with big sunglasses and boring looking beige cardigan.

She gulped when she realized that all eyes were on her. However, she toughened herself up by doing a little self-introduction, "Erm, I'm...I'm Jessica Pang, a journalist from the Sun Columns…"

"Ms. Pang, what is your question?" asked DX. He glanced down at the blood-soaked towel and signaled the hotel staff earlier to bring him a fresh one.

"I-I think the videos and photos don't really tell us everything. I want to know what is your opinion of Ms. Zhen?" asked Jessica Pang as she held her recorder up. She was a little startled when DX picked her.

DX nodded. He looked at Han Ye and the latter went to the slide controller and took over.

Shortly thereafter, a series of photos were shown on the projector.

One of them was a young Kai Xin encouraging Tian Le to walk with a walking stick. He was around 3 years old then and it was his first time relying on a walking stick. She had a smile on her face as she extended her arms wide open. The older kids stood behind her and their gestures were as if they were encouraging him as well.

The next picture was a picture of her celebrating Caleb's birthday with the other kids at the orphanage. She had a goofy hat on while she stood behind the kids with Caleb in her arms. Tian Le was standing next to them. Everyone looked so happy in the photo.

There were a few more photos that were taken with the other kids at the orphanage. On DX's instructions, Han Ye managed to get all the photos from Jane and Mrs. Wong.

As he looked at the photo that DX was showing, Director Song smirked, "President Du, what are you trying to show us? That the woman likes to hang out at the orphanage?"

DX ignored him and it was only when Han Ye arrived at the photo of Kai Xin with Little Lyle sitting on her lap that he said something.

"This picture was taken not long after I found my eldest son. At that time, he barely spoke to anyone. She was the only person he would talk to. All of you know, my eldest son was kidnapped when he was young…" said DX.

Back then, when they introduced Little Lyle to everyone, they concocted a story to say that Little Lyle was separated from Little Jack and later on kidnapped from the orphanage that he was in. DX did not want the world to know that the poor kid was sold off by his own mother. As far as he could, he wanted to protect his son from being viewed differently because of his past.

His gaze when he looked at the picture of Kai Xin and Little Lyle was one of love and it was obvious to the reporters who were taking photos of him.

With a smile, he continued, "...What you did not know was that she was the one who saved him. She came with me and without any regards of her own safety, she went into a building that was in ruins just to save my boy and the rest of the kidnapped children…"

The next photos were taken by some of the hired mercenaries when they were in Brazil. It was taken whenever Kai Xin appeared on the surface with a child. The last one was her emerging with Little Lyle in her arms.

As the reporters looked at the photos, they realized that DX was telling the truth.

"She's...kind of cool now..." said one of the reporters and his colleagues agreed with him.

Once he was done, he turned back to Jessica Pang and said, "You asked for my opinion. This is my opinion. Ms. Zhen is a great woman. She's the kindest and bravest woman I have ever met. When she was a student, she gave all her time to kids at the orphanage so that they wouldn't feel lonely..."

When DX looked at Han Ye, the latter pulled out photos of the donation book of Zi Han's Orphanage. In almost every page, her name was there.

As he looked at the photos, he continued, "From the moment she started working, she would make a monthly donation to the orphanage. Even if the sum was insignificant, she did whatever she could to help..."

With his eyes turned back to Jessica Pang, he added, "...I'm honored that she chose me to be her man. Truth be told, I do not think that I'm worthy of her yet, but I'll do my best and...,"

Glaring at Director Song, he added, "I would never forgive anyone who dares to hurt her."
