Luo Yin coughed out blood when he landed on a chair and broke it into pieces. He fell onto the ground with a loud thud. When he tried to crawl up, Kai An kicked him at the side so hard that he broke at least one of his ribs.
Despite the intense pain, Luo Yin laughed. With blood flowing from his nose and mouth, it was an eerie sight and Naomi Nakamura had to look away before she gagged.
He spat the blood out before saying, "You know...I was a lot nicer to her when she was under me. You should have seen Little Kai Xin's face as she begged for me to let her go…"
Kai An could only see red then and he aimed a kick at Luo Yin's head but someone pulled him back.
"LET ME GO!!!" yelled Kai An as he struggled against Callum.
Callum threw him aside and snapped, "Kai Xin wouldn't want you to do this! Think of why she didn't tell you in the first place! If you killed him here, my brother won't be able to get you out! Think about Naomi as well! She's scared!"
Kai An glanced at Naomi Nakamura who had a terrified expression on her face and he yelled out his frustration before he punched a hole in the wall.
Even though he stopped Kai An, Callum himself was calm enough to continue. After all, as long as he did not kill Luo Yin, it would be fine. He went to Luo Yin and took his right hand. When Luo Yin glared at him, Callum gave him an innocent smile as he shook his hand.
"This is for my boy, by the way…" said Callum before he crushed Luo Yin's hand with his own steel grip. When he heard the sound of the bones being broken, Callum gave out an evil grin.
"ARGGGGHHH!!!" Luo Yin cried out from the pain and his voice was like a melody to Callum who had been dreaming of doing this since he found out that Luo Yin was responsible for what happened to Ghost.
He heard footsteps walking into the room before someone gasped, "What the hell…"
Callum looked over at the door and saw Grandfather Luo standing by the bed with General Nakamura. The latter had a calm expression on his face as he looked at his daughter's battered face. It reminded Callum of his brother. In this kind of situation, whenever DX was calm, it was an indication of what was about to come and it was rarely a good thing.
General Nakamura glared at Grandfather Luo as he asked, "I want an explanation for this."
Grandfather Luo glared at Luo Yin who was lying on the floor clutching his broken hand as he replied, "I'll give you a satisfactory explanation by tomorrow morning."
He signaled his men to come in and carry Luo Yin back.
Meanwhile, General Nakamura signaled his men to carry his daughter but she was too terrified by what happened earlier. When they got near her, she started screaming.
When he heard her screamed, Kai An felt an ache in his heart. He immediately went to her. When she saw him, she immediately hugged him tightly as she pleaded, "I don't want to go back! I don't want to go back!"
"It's alright. We'll go back to my place!" said Kai An as he rubbed her back to reassure her that she was safe with him.
"She's coming home with me," said General Nakamura sternly as he glared at Kai An.
However, to his surprise, Kai An glared back as he snapped, "She's my woman!"
He covered Naomi Nakamura up in his arms before snarling at General Nakamura, "If you want to take her away from me, then you better kill me!"
General Nakamura's men blocked his way when he tried to leave the room. When Kai An glared at General Nakamura, the latter looked at his daughter. His beloved daughter who had never been hurt before was hurt by the man he pushed her to. It was his fault.
"Are you sure?" asked General Nakamura softly as he caressed her face. It had been a long time since he dropped his tough 'general' demeanor and be a loving father to her.
With tears in her eyes, Naomi Nakamura nodded weakly, "I-I just...I'm scared to go home now…I don't want to see anyone..."
General Nakamura sighed. He knew that she must have been scared out of her mind. With a gentle voice, he said, "Call me when you want to come home. Dad will come to pick you up immediately."
Naomi Nakamura cried quietly as she nodded. She missed her caring father whom she lost to the "General Nakamura" title a long time ago.
He then glared at Kai An and said sternly, "Kid! You better treat my daughter with respect or I'm going to break your legs with my own bare hands!"
"Of course," growled Kai An before he walked out with Callum following right behind him.
After everyone left, Ghost came out from one of the rooms on the floor. He gave a call to DX to let him know that everyone had left.
DX was in his bedroom alone. An Qi Yan wanted to sleep with Kai Xin tonight and even though he wanted his wife to be by his side, he relented because he knew that the two had a lot of things to talk about. There was half a lifetime of secrets that they needed to talk about.
When he saw the Caller ID on his phone, he immediately picked it up. DX figured that he might as well use Ghost to his advantage. After all, both of them wanted the same thing and having him as an ally was way better than having him as an enemy.
Ever since the day Ghost came to visit, DX had been messaging and talking to him being Kai Xin's back. Both of them had been talking and planning about setting up everything for her. All she needed to do was to give instruction and they would do everything for her.
DX was the one who told Ghost to set up a meeting between Grandfather Luo and General Nakamura in a different restaurant at Hotel Royale. The two had planned an elaborate plan to ensure the success of their plan.
If nothing happened, then let it be. If something happened, DX wanted those two to be near enough. After Ghost sent the message to Callum, the former immediately rushed to the hotel room and with Lee's help, he waited in the next empty room after knocking his spy out.
He had been pacing around the room, worried about the outcome. When he heard her screaming for help, he was about to go and save her but thankfully, Callum and Ghost came at the right time.
Once those two were in the room, he immediately called his grandfather and told him to come up with General Nakamura by claiming that he saw Naomi Nakamura being carried into a room by some men.
To avoid any suspicions from General Nakamura, Ghost said that he was on the way to the toilet when he saw someone who looked like Naomi Nakamura being carried into a lift. He then told his grandfather that he was going to follow them just in case.
As predicted, despite his aloofness, General Nakamura was still a father who cared about his daughter. He knew that his daughter was having a meeting with Luo Yin at the hotel and even though he thought that it was impossible, he decided to check it out.
With a grin, Ghost leaned against the wall as he said to DX over the phone, "What a cruel man you are...To place an innocent woman at such a precarious situation."
DX poured out a glass of wine for himself as he said, "I'm not as cruel as you. At least I won't place someone I claimed to love in such a situation…Besides…"
Hearing his sharp words, Ghost winced before asking, "What?"
"She's not as innocent as you think…" murmured DX. Before Ghost could ask any other questions, he hung up.
