32 What should I go for?

I was crossed between Dana's approach in joining the Elemental Sect.

There are two options, one Dana joins the sect as a 'Genius' one of the best within the sect, without hiding her appearance. She won't be the top genius of the sect, as that is too amazing but she will have sufficient talent, that she would be considered an individual they want to put great effort to nurture.

This may cause trouble as her appearance is unveiled, alongside her is most likely the most talented female disciple which could cause many troubles for obvious means.

This means she will show herself in the open, and as she is a 'Talented' disciple of the sect, none would be allowed to do what they want.

This would mean Dana is in the open, her full capabilities wouldn't be revealed it would mean she would actively show her talents and not try to hide.

Two Dana hides her appearance and acts low, this would be her biding her time until she has sufficient strength to protect her self.

The meaning of this is none would even know she is female, and think she has 'trash' talent, she will be actively looked down upon.

These are two options, I want your opinion on what approach should I take.

To be honest I'm not sure as both options are plausible and should keep her 'safe' enough within the sect.

Of course, either option won't protect her from danger, as for the first option they may not do anything towards her face to face, but does that mean they won't go behind her back when nobody is present?

Also, she could end up being forced by for instance the sect head in the first option, but then again she could prolong this issue until she has an appropriate means to get out of it as her talent is much higher than they truly anticipated so they will always underestimate her.

Either option will not be filled without hardships for Dana, but I want to know which direction would you prefer me to go in?
