CHAPTER 25
Really Troublesome, Stop
“You……” the second prince’s complexion changed slightly, he narrowed his eyes to glare at Jing Yue. The meaning of Jing Yue’s words couldn’t be more obvious; they clearly meant that the second prince, holding a prince’s arrogance, didn’t have any respect towards uncle’s and in-law’s generations; if these words were to spread into the Emperor’s ears, who knew if this would be grabbed by those minister and was used against him?
“Benw.a.n.g’s tired, please the second prince make a way.” Xiao Chen narrowed his eyes looking at the second prince; that one ‘please’ word somewhat carried a satirizing meaning, making the second prince’s complexion became even uglier.
“Ninth Huang Shu be careful!” just as Xiao Chen was about to start walking; a sound, crying out loud in alarm, came through from behind his body. Everyone suddenly raised their head to look. Unexpectedly, they saw right away, a huge shadow pounced toward Xiao Chen’s group.
Xiao Chen went slightly blank. He was about to grab Jing Yue’s hand beside him; he didn’t expect Jing Yue would throw herself towards his bosom, big hand was suddenly gripped and he was pulled backward several steps.
“Ah….. there’s a wolf a!” shouts of surprise and alarm appeared among the crowd. Before the second prince could respond, he suddenly felt something black in front of his eyes; a huge shadow suddenly threw him to the ground. That widely opened jaw exposed sharp fangs, making the second prince turned pale with fright.
There was uproar among the crowd; the imperial guards were so scared they repeatedly retreated; not until they saw the second prince was pressed down on the ground by that huge gray wolf that they thought about saving people. However, just as the imperial guards about to move, another gray wolf appeared.
This time everyone saw clearly the place that gray wolf appeared from; unexpectedly, it came out from inside ninth Huang Shu’s carriage.
“Come…. come ah! quick bring that beast down!” an eunuch who followed the second prince was so frightened that he was trembling all over; his legs were shaking as he pointed at the gray wolf which bared its fangs and dripping with saliva.
“Stop!” as everyone was terrified endlessly, they suddenly heard a delicate voice shouting loudly.
Everyone raised their gaze, they saw Jing Yue, who followed ninth Huang Shu’s side, strode forward and squeezed herself among the imperial guards, advancing toward the gray wolf which no one dared to approach. Everyone was immediately stunned, their eyes widened, their hearts cried ‘not good’ loudly.
“Aiya, could it be possible that this girl does not even recognize a wolf? Approaching just like this, isn’t she just throwing her life away?”
“But those are beasts ah….”
“It seems this ninth Huang Fei is really about to die again.”
All the commoners outside immediately cried out in alarm, fright and pity were displayed on their face; some women who were more timid covered their eyes, didn’t dare to look at the thing that was about to happen; just as everyone were gasping in surprise, Jing Yue already went toward the gray wolf’s side.
“Aiyaa…… Really is troublesome.” Seeing the second prince being pressed on the ground by Yin Jian’s claw without daring to budge, Jing Yue’s face suddenly exposed awkwardness.
The second prince was scared looking at the gray wolf in front of him, that dripping saliva all fell on his face; there were both fright and fury in his heart, yet he didn’t dare to budge even the slightest; at this moment he suddenly heard Jing Yue’s voice, turning his eyes trying to look, he saw Jing Yue actually stood beside the gray wolf without the slightest bit amount of fear.
“You….. Still not fast get rid of this brute!” the second prince looked like he just had grabbed the straw to save his life and promptly shouted at Jing Yue.
“Awuu…..” just a moment after the second prince’s words fell; the gray wolf actually looked like it understood human’s words, vicious rays were exposed in its eyes, it opened its mouth wanting to bite the second prince’s head. The surrounding people were screaming, crazy with fear, yet no one dare to move even one step forward.
