Chapter 7 - Who Is Ethan Date?

After the appointment with Ethan, Alex returned to the hotel. She was surprised to see Fidelia there since it was already 7 p.m. and she thought her friend would be out enjoying herself out as usual.

"Hey, you are home, I was waiting for you, so tell me, how was the date? Tell me quick!!!" Fifi was all excited and urged Alex to come over and sit next to her.

"Well, I ate a hotpot, it was really good; we definitely need to go to that restaurant again, the food there is really good," Alex replied with a big smile and took a seat next to her friend.

Fidelia was starting to get impatient as she waited all afternoon for her best friend to return to the hotel after her meal with Leila. It was the first time her beautiful friend was going on a date, even if it was fake, it was the first time Alex was alone with a man, she could not help but be curious and excited, she wanted to know all about what happened between them!.

"You know I am not talking about food!!! Will you quickly tell me what happened? I have a feeling you had a great time".

"Nothing happened, we just made some small talk. He's a pretty good person; he seems gentle and caring to me. I told him about my illness, and we talked about our hobbies to understand each other better; you know, if we have to play the couple in front of people, we have to get to know each other better."

"You told him about your illness?" Fidelia could not believe Alex. She had waited her whole life to talk to her about her illness, and here she was telling her story to a complete stranger. She just shook her head, feeling a little wronged.

"Did you also tell him why you were sick?" She asked again crossing her arms.

" No, he did not ask for it, so I did not have to tell him, but I was ready to tell him! It was weird, but I feel comfortable with him." Alex was actually surprised herself at how open she was with Ethan. Things she would not talk about with people she did not know well, she was willing to tell him without questioning herself. She felt weird thinking about it.

Fidelia was a little surprised, Alex was someone who did not like to share her feelings with others, she always kept her calm in all circumstances and did not like to bother others with her problems. Because of this side of her, some of her friends always thought that she was haughty and cold.

"It's not like you, baby girl, but I am glad there's someone you can just share your thoughts with, it's not healthy to always keep everything to yourself. And I am even happier that this is a man". Fifi confessed with a soft smile.

Alex smiled back at her friend while messing with her long black hair "If you are talking about something that's not like me, it's also not like you to be at home at night, today will you not chase after fate like you always do?"

Fidelia burst out laughing, "I already have my destiny in my hand baby girl, ahah now I am waiting for her to call me... And believe me, I will get that call soon!"

After this little discussion, Alex decided to go and take a shower. Meanwhile, being a good agent, Fidelia decided to cheque out Alex's social networks. As soon as she logged on to Whatlife, she was surprised to see an article on Ethan titled "Ethan in a secret date", then another one "who's the mysterious woman Ethan is dating?". The internet was in an uproar, fans of Ethan all left comments asking who the woman was that Ethan was holding hands with, others were researching like Sherlock trying to guess who the woman in the photos might be.

Fidelia was a little shocked by the number of fans liking and commenting on the post. She knew Ethan was popular, but she didn't really know at what point!

"Baby girl, you are driving Whatlife crazy, there are pictures of you and Ethan all over the internet, good thing you are wearing that mask!" she cried out. "I think it's not really a good time to introduce yourself," she added checking what the fans were saying about Alex.

Alex, when she got out of the shower, looked at the photos and the articles; she was surprised by the number of comments left by fans and thought that Ethan was really a big star in Florelia. She started to think if it was such a big idea to play his fake girlfriend.

Then she settled down in front of the TV, ready to watch an episode of her favourite show. Fidelia next to her, who was still in charge of managing her social accounts, told her, "I cancelled the appointments with Priceless, since we signed various contracts with Royalstars already, it is no longer reasonable to continue to have contact with them. The person in charge really wanted an appointment with you because their CEO really wanted to see you, which of course I refused, they were very persistent"

For her part, Alex was already engrossed in her show and calmly replied, "Okay, in any case, as you said, we are now part of Royalstars, so there's no need to see the Priceless representatives, I was not interested anyway, their contracts weren't really clear!"

At that moment, Alex's phone vibrated, she had just received a message from Ethan wishing her a good night. Looking at the message, she unconsciously smiled, which Fidelia did not miss, and then replied, tapping "Good night, fake boyfriend."

When she received a reply to his message, Ethan was happy. He was reluctant to get any closer to Alex, but he could not help it, he wanted to talk to her, so he sent her a little message to see if she would reply. When he got a reply, he couldn't hide his joy, letting out a sweet smile showing his beautiful dimples. He fell asleep with happiness.

At the same time, Leila was in her office following the development of the scandal regarding Ethan relationship. The mixed reactions from the fans were what she had hoped for. For his part, Ethan did not really care what might happen on the Internet, leaving all the management of his image to the company as always.

Before she went home, Leila called Ethan and told him to hide Alex's face a bit more in joint appearances until the casting was over. Filming for the movie was scheduled to begin in two months. She hoped that during those months, Alex popularity could increase quickly with the help of Ethan.

On the Internet, fans of Ethan all scanned the woman in the photos, looking for clues that could tell them the identity of this person. Her face was completely covered by glasses, a mask and a hat, fans had nothing to make out of her face. She was also wearing thigh-high boots, her legs were also covered.. All they had were clues like her stature or the ring Alex was wearing.
