Chapter 47 - I Don't Want Them To Go To Jail For Now!

Eliott was still angry after that call, his beautiful scrambled eggs were a mess, he had to make them again. Sighing, he threw them in the bin, cursing Kevin as he did so. 

The phone call had reminded him of what had happened last night, and just thinking about it made his blood boil. He did not want the women in the room to see him like this, especially Alex, so after the call, he just continued cooking without turning to them.

Leila, Alex and Fidelia sitting quietly on the couch, could feel the change in atmosphere. Already during that call, a cold aura surrounded him, and even if they only saw his back, they could feel the change in his mood and demeanour. He spoke calmly, but even Fidelia had felt the coldness in his voice, making her shiver unconsciously. They could all guess that it was not a pleasant call.

When they realised who was on the phone with Eliott, their reactions were fierce as well. Leila could not help but curse Kevin as a "lousy piece of shit," Fidelia frowned deeply, and Alex clenched her fist as tightly as she could. At that moment, you could see the atmosphere around them grow as cold as the one around Eliott. They seethed at the thought that he certainly had a lot of nerve calling Eliott just a few hours after he'd been caught. 

Leila could feel Alex's anger, she felt bad, she didn't deserve to be treated like this and all she wanted was to make the bastard pay! 

"What did he want?" asked Alex out of the blue and Eliott froze a little.

He didn't want her to think that he would let him go despite what he had done, just because he was the son of his father's friend. He thought about it, 'Since I want to press charges, it's fine if I give my father a little credit, but the decision is ultimately hers. She has the right to do what she wants because she is the victim, and we have nothing to say about her decision.' And immediately you could see a small smile on his face.

"He wants me to forgive him. I had cancelled all their contracts with our company, so that should make their life difficult from now on, and I had also asked Christ to press charges toward the two siblings...." Eliott was still busy cooking, looking pleased with what was coming out as he talked to Alex.

"But I don't want them to go to gaol, at least not right now. It will be more fun to make them pay for their actions while they are free, the pain will be stronger..." Alex said quietly with a wicked smile. Leila was a little taken aback by her coldness. She smiled, thinking that she really was made for her brother.

Eliott smiled a little when he heard that she would like to play with them a little. "Anyway, I was going to give father some face for asking me to spare his friend. I want to take back, maybe two of their contracts with us? But if you don't want me to, I won't, you have the power in this."

"Fine by me, their father is not the one who needs to be punished anyway..." Alex smiled gently, reassuring her boyfriend.

To be honest, after the call she felt that Kevin's demand putted Eliott in an awkward position because he didn't turn to her or looked at her, but now she knew it was because of Eliott's father's friendship with Kevin's father. Either way, she really wanted to get back at them, and in her own way. She would certainly press charges against them, bastards like them deserved to be locked up somewhere, but she wanted them to suffer while they were all free. Sometimes people were scarier than in prison.

Eliott was a little intrigued by what she was trying to do to them, he was liking her more and more, she was really entertaining. To tell the truth, he also thought that three or four years in prison was not enough for what they had done, but he was afraid that Alex would think he had not taken care of them the way he should have, because the proper way to solve problems like this was to go to the police and press charges.

So he did what anyone would have done because he didn't know how Alex would react. Now he was really curious and interested in how she thought. Before he had a chance to ask her, Leila, who was also stunned by Alex's decision, could not help but ask:

"Alex, I didn't know you were like this, I like you more and more, I love how you take care of things! So what are you going to do with them? I am curious as hell! And I deadly want to help you crushed them"

" I'll just have them publicly apologize, they are well known here in public. I need to let the world know what they are really like, it's that simple. I will make sure no one gives them the respect they think they deserve. The little piece of shit that drugged me needs to be left with nothing so she knows how life really works, After they will lose all dignity, I'll put them to jail" she smiled happily. She could not wait to see that.

"And how would you do that?" Eliott was also very curious and could not help but want to see how she would manage it.

"I am going to use my boyfriend to do it... " Alex's smile grew even wider, making her look even prettier with her pretty bare face.

Eliott liked her answer so much that a wide smile could be seen on her face. That smile was simply captivating. It was the first time Alex saw such a wide smile on his face. Even Leila was stunned by that smile, 'It's been a long time since I saw that smile on his face. '

To tell the truth, it was hard to see a genuine smile on Eliott's face. Even though he often smiled when he played Ethan, she knew it was all an act. And when he was with his family, his smile was not really expressive and sometimes he even used that fake Ethan smile to tease her. It was really rare to see that carefree and loving smile on his face, and now his sister was just grateful to Alex for making that happen.

"Really, and if he does not want to help?" Eliott looked at her with a raised brow and a small grin.

Alex was always fascinated when she saw the cute dimples on his face that made him look so cute, "I am sure he does..." she smiled lovingly her blue eyes twinkling.

"Can you please stop flirting in front of us? And little brother, your girlfriend needs to eat, can you hurry up a bit?" Leila was glad to see his brother's light-hearted side, but now she was really angry.

Eliott reminded himself that Alex really needed to eat something since she had to take her prescription.

" It's ready, you can come to eat. Oh, sis, can you please hand me the bag of medicine Phil left? It's in the medicine cabinet."

When Leila heard that, she froze a little before taking the bag of medicine. They were all sitting around the table with a nice English breakfast in front of them. Not having much time because Alex had to take her medicine, Eliott decided to make an English breakfast that was easier than Florelia's classic breakfast.

" Oh, how is he?" asked Leila as she eagerly began to dig in, not looking at Eliott in the eyes.

"Why are you asking me that? If you want to know, call him yourself." Eliott had a wicked grin on his face. He couldn't understand why she was acting this way when he knew full well that she loved him.

The other two people at the table could sense that something was going on between Leila and that doctor.. When Alex saw her reaction, she thought it was pretty funny to see Leila with that sheepish face, while she could swear like it was her native language.
