Chapter 49 - A Little Kiss As A Bribe

Alex was a little scared, Elliot didn't really seem happy, his face was a little cold and his eyes a little sinister as she looked at him. She was a little disappointed in that decision now, after all he had been taking care of her all night and here she was not taking good care of herself. 

But on the contrary, that was not really the case. Even though he did not like the idea of her going out after being sick all night, he was not really against her going out and brightening her mood, he wanted her to stop thinking about what had happened to her the night before.

"I am really fine, don't worry," she tried to smile as wildly as she could to make him worry less. She looked up into his handsome face and somehow felt drawn to him. As if she was on autopilot, she placed her hands on his cheeks and gave him a small kiss. 

When she want to break the kiss, Eliott pulled her even closer and hugged her tightly. She gasped in surprise, giving Eliott the opportunity to slide his hot tongue into her mouth and deepen their kiss. It was a sweet and tender kiss, not too fast and not too slow, her lips were like the sweetest dessert he had ever tasted. He had been dreaming of this kiss since last night when he had undressed her as she lay on his bed and her delicious lips were slightly parted, and now he wanted to ravage her delicious lips, but he remembered that she was sick and stopped the kiss with a little kiss on her forehead.

"Is this your way of bribing me? I love it!" Eliott chuckled feeling happy! "Go out and have fun, sweetie, but take good care of yourself."

Alex was a little embarrassed, she had kissed Ethan, but somehow it felt different when she had kissed Eliott, even if it was the same man. A small smile formed on her pretty face as she stood up "go back to your work, I will not bother you any longer". 

Eliott smiled at her red cheeks and returned to his desk as he was asked. As she walked to the door Alex remembered something and before she walked out she turned to him: "By the way, did you see my chest last night?"

"I don't think any real man could turn his head when watching your attractive chest." Eliott looked into her eyes with an innocent smile shrugging his shoulders.

Alex regretted why she had even asked that obvious question and left as quickly as she could.

Fidelia and Leila were amused to see her walk out of the study as quickly as she could. They immediately understood that something embarrassing had happened to her in that room, they looked at her suspiciously and started teasing her.

"Baby Girl why are you blushing so much... did something happen to you in the study room?"

"No... nothing happened, what are you talking about? Anyway, I have permission. Let us go, I need to shower and change." Alex blushed even more as she walked to the door.

"Don't run away! You will not get away like that. Looking at your swollen lips, I bet you enjoyed a little kiss there, my Baby girl, you are a grown woman now..." Fidelia was pleased that she had just realized that she had a new way to tease her best friend.

"Did you actually bribe my brother with a kiss? And it worked? I am amazed!" added Leila with a smile! She had tried to bribe her brother many times before, but it had never worked! But it was different with the wife! Indeed women charms could kill!

While they were busy teasing Alex, they didn't notice Eliott watching them from the first floor. He smiled at the sight before him. It was great to see the two most important women in his life, besides his mother, so happy.

"Are you going or not? Before I change my mind."

Hearing his voice they were a little startled and embarrassed and it didn't even take them a minute to rush out. Alex's apartment was not far away and two minutes later they were already in her apartment. 

A short time later the girls were already walking down the beautiful street of Florelia. Besides Leila, the other two girls didn't notice at least ten bodyguards following them slowly and unobtrusively. Leila could not help but smile at her brother's care. As an heiress, she didn't have it easy, with dangers lurking everywhere. She was used to having two or three bodyguards following her around throughout the day, so of course, she knew how to spot them when they were near her.

After shopping, Leila wanted to visit CANDIDE so they went straight to the store. She was amazed, it was not a small store at all and the dresses were simply stunning. When her assistant bought her the dress she wore to the party, she was already amazed by the design. She could see how talented Alex was because all her pieces were so original, stylish yet trendy. She bought as many dresses as she could. By the time the girls left the store, it was already time for dinner, so Leila took them to a small restaurant she had known for a decade where she had a private room.

While they were enjoying their meal, Fidelia announced to Alex that she had to attend an emission to promote the movie before the premiere of the shooting. 

Alex agree without even thinking, in any case even if she didn't want to do it, she had a contract, she had to do the work that her contract required. Besides, it was certainly something Leila had planned for her, so she knew it was an important step. 

" So what am I going to do on the show?"

"I have already seen what the program for the show will be. It's nothing special, there will be a game, a few questions, they will probably ask you to show off your talent and so on."

"I see, who else will be there? Or how many people will be participating?"

"There will be some other artists from different companies, I don't know exactly who, but before the show, I'll have the information, don't worry. Actually, they asked us if all the main actors in the movie could participate. In our company, you and Sarah, the lead actress, have already agreed. Now I still have to convince Eliott, well I mean Ethan, but I think for some reason it will not be that hard to convince him," Leila explained smiling as she was happy to have Alex in her life now! She could get her brother to do anything she wanted as long as Alex was around.

"Why did you have to convince him and why will it be simple now?"

"Before he became Ethan, my brother made it clear. He didn't want to be on any show, especially ones where you had to do stupid things. But now it's different. I think once I tell him you'll be participating, he'll say yes..."

" But I don't want to force him to do things he does not want to do..."

"It's not that I want him to, but this time it's important for the movie! It's his last one and I wanted to make it big. So I'll be counting on you."

After they ate dinner, they didn't really have enough energy to do other things, so they promptly returned home. It was then that Alex and Fidelia learned that Leila also lived in the same neighbourhood, just in a different building.

The area they lived in was like a small town surrounded by a large wall.  There were many buildings, restaurants, and shops. Many celebrities lived there, but only the big ones, because the price of an apartment there was the highest in the country, and if it was not for her company, she herself could not even dream of living there. Alex thought it was funny that they all wanted to live in the same area. 

"Leila, I am a little curious, how come you all want to live here?"

"Well, I didn't want to live with my parents and here is fine, plus I don't have to pay rent since we own all of this and more importantly, I can eat at Eliott's for free.

"It's all yours?" exclaimed Fidelia and Alex at the same time. They were so surprised that their eyes went wide. They knew the Jensen family was rich, but not to this extent.

"I got half of it and Eliott got the other half," Leila was amused at the two girls. Their reaction was really funny since they were new in town there were a lot of things they did not know. But for their defence, it was not public knowledge that these buildings were theirs.. They were used by Royal Corp but they had been built with their own money.
