The kiss took place in front of three gaping people, who wanted to watch at once the other way around. Stefanus still upholds morals, so he wanted to give Duke Kleo some privacy. Meanwhile, Ella and Gena didn't have to worry about those things. The only problem they faced right now was the menacing gaze from Mr. Bertus, who was watching them from a distance.
"Oh, it's not our lucky day," Gena hissed, reluctantly turning around while peering at the shadows of Lyra and Duke Kleo.
Moaning, Duke Kleo took intense sips of Lyra's cavity, biting occasionally and tickling the area of the roof of her mouth. Another moaning, his hands seemed to grip her neck even more tightly, while her legs felt weak and helpless.
"My Lord..." she breathed. "Please stop." When she noticed a sunken movement from her stomach, causing a faint popping and twitching of her other lips, making them clamp spontaneously, channeling more feelings of helplessness and also being passionate to get the touch from him.
Panting, Duke Kleo smiled, brushing Lyra's flushed face, then caressed her soft cheeks, brushing aside the strands of beautiful golden hair. "Once again." Then he devoured her lips again, sucking like he wanted to inhale all the air from her lungs through the mouth, slurping the saliva, pressing their tongue against it, feeling the flying sweet sensation.
Her eyes closed as her entire sensitivity increased tenfold, making her feel as if she was tingling with a bacterium crawling on her skin. That means that the impact of their tongue was so intimate that they stung her nerves.
His hands supported her back, when she almost fell because of their intimate kiss, straightened her neck and directed their lips in the right position. Moan after moan, the hot breaths pounding against each other, the pounding and increasing heartbeats, the eyes closed from enjoying every second of every touch.
Until then their kiss slowed down… slower. The tongue and cavity that sucked like a vacuum finally lowered the frequency, slowly…. slower and slower, their breathing became more regular… and deliberately their eyes opened, looking at each other, silent for a moment.
Lyra's face turned red, while she felt regret in her head. Once again she was caught up in this situation, where Duke Kleo's charm was too strong. Her lips twitched, not much different from the strength that was currently starting to crack and nearly crumble.
"Why did you come home early?" she asked. "Shouldn't you be home in the afternoon?"
"Does that mean you're starting to like me?"
"Sorry?" she frowned. "I was just asking why you came home early."
"That means you care about me right?" The stupid smile of Duke Kleo as well as his narcissism about himself. "If you're paying attention to me then that means you're starting to like me."
"What kind of logic is that?"
He shrugged. "I happened to find a shortcut that was the fastest, so it made my journey easier. You should be glad I came home early right? It means you are no longer lonely. Or do you want me to be gone for a long time so you can do something bad?" Squinted and suspicious.
Lyra coughed, choking on her saliva. "I-I didn't do that."
"If you stutter it means that's what you do." Squeezing her fingers, diving into two pairs of clear blue eyes, falling in love even more. "I will take a shower and take a break until after lunch. Do you mind accompanying me later?"
"What do you want to do, My Lord?"
Once again he shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe we can chat while we wait for lunch to be served. After all, brides-to-be should know each other right?"
Lyra blinked a few times, as her heartbeats increased from the shock of the enchantment as well as the inevitable trap. 'He's dangerous,' she thought.
Now her eyes were filled with the sweet smiling figure of Duke Kleo, who patted her head lovingly.
Time froze, giving them a strange vacuum. She didn't even realize how deeply she had absorbed his charms, and how many felt she had spilled. Even though he was away with Stefanus, her gaze still refused to let go of him, catching his broad and sturdy shoulders or merely his lost shadow beneath the palace buildings.
Lyra gasped after missing Duke Kleo's figure in the distance, followed by the appearance of Ella and Gena in front of her eyes. The two maids blinked a few times, waiting for her response.
"I have to wait for him to shower," Lyra said curtly, looking down at the random grass.
"You don't look all right, My Lady," Ella said worriedly. "Even though you guys just kissed."
Gena looked pitifully at Lyra. "Is there a reason you turned down His Grace's proposal, My Lady? Was His Grace's ruthless attitude the only reason? But it seems you like him too, although you also feel the opposite, an ambiguous feeling."
Ella took Lyra's hand, holding it gently. "You can tell us anything, My Lady. We are ready to be loyal listeners."
"Thanks," Lyra whispered, not promising anything. She just wanted to be alone right now, contemplating the feelings she had trouble controlling. On one hand, when she was alone, it was as if she was able to dump Duke Kleo and leave him. But once they met, touching and possessing each other, her feelings turned upside down in opposite directions, as if she wanted to be in his arms forever.
Fear after fear haunted her, as well as trauma that still bites her to this day.
Duke Kleo came out of his room after finishing the bath. His face was brighter than before, displaying a fresh impression as well as doubled enthusiasm. His upright and dashing body was now rushing to find Lyra, who at that time was in a gazebo near the fish pond.
The servants saw him running around, like a boy wanting to greet his mother who had just returned from the market, causing them to frown in endless amazement.
"Is that His Grace? He's changed since Miss Lyra's arrival," said one of the maids, holding some fresh vegetables in her hand.
"I also barely recognized him, even his face looked different just because he always smiled. If someone saw him or knew the current version of the story, then surely they wouldn't believe that he was a very cruel noble."
"I hope he stays like this, I hope his relationship with Miss Lyra always goes well."
But sadly that's not possible, right? Every relationship must have ups and downs, such as a disaster like the eruption of Mount Krakatau. And it looks like that problem will happen soon.
