38 Duelling Club

It had been a few weeks since the events from the Chamber of Secrets. The group had decided that the adventures they had were enough for a day and that they would visit the place again after some time. Currently, they were standing around a duelling stage, upon which stood Lockhart and Snape. One of them was a outstanding wizard the other an incompetent buffoon, which was which became apparent once the two `Teachers' displayed their skills. `Bang!' just like in the movie and the book, Lockhart was disarmed and was sent flying, leaving the winner, Snape to give out an almost unnoticeable smirk. `

`Good thinking Professor Snape! Teaching the students how to disarm their opponents first. still, you must know that I allowed you to do so.'' Most students had already caught on to the fact the Lockhart was all talk but there were still some students who still thought of him as a great wizard. Snape didn't bother responding to Lockhart and just nodded his head. Lockhart's vanity was satisfied and he continued with his lesson plan, ``okay everyone! Split into pairs and practise disarming each other, only Disarming!'' unlike in the books, Snape didn't try to pair up Harry and Draco as he knew that even some of the senior students wouldn't be the match of Jack and friends.

Still, changing a thick-headed person takes time. After Lucius Malfoy and his `friends' had been sent to prison for their crimes, Draco's mother had tried to better her son's behaviour and although he had stopped bullying people, it didn't stop him from hating Harry and his friends. ``Potter! How about we pair up instead?'' Jack didn't know what it was but he and almost everyone else present felt the urge to punch Draco in the face. `Is it the way he spoke or his face? What is it man?!' these were the thoughts in everyone's mind including Harry who obviously said, ``Sure! Let's go!''

The two jumped onto the stage and almost instantly there was a circle of people around the stage and Jack and his friends had to remind their fellow students to put up their shields in case of an accident. Meanwhile, the two `arch-nemesis' had started the duel traditions and started to walk away from each other. when they reached the last step, Harry used the insta-cast ability he learned from Jack to disarm Draco, ``Expelliarmus!'' everyone expected for Draco to be disarmed by now but instead Draco was able defend himself, ``Protego!'' Jack and his friends were shocked, it was entirely possible to use Protego to defend from the Expelliarmus Spell but the one casting the spell was Harry.

He had a XXXXXX level Phantom, Mana Core and a Divine Animagus transformation and although he hadn't even used a Tenth of his full strength, the percentage he had used would be capable of beating most Seventh Year Hogwarts Students. ``Haha! Surprised Potter, I trained the entire holidays and I continued to train even in Hogwarts and I am thankful to your friend Williams for his encouragement!'' Jack was about to use his Golden Sharingan to find out the reasons behind Draco's power up but Draco practically gave him the answer. The reason him and his group were strong was because of three reasons, their training, their resources and their knowledge.

Now the Malfoy family had both resources and knowledge but Draco was just missing the training and now he had filled it nicely. Just to be sure, Jack used his Golden Sharingan to discreetly scan Draco's body and was able to confirm his thoughts, `Hmm! he was able to increase his Mana Reserves and was even able to liquefy the Magical Energy inside of him! It looks like we need to spend more time outside otherwise we won't even know when an enemy has increased his power and we were too late to stop them!'

Meanwhile, Draco fired one Disarming Spell after another and his speed, angle and power depicted the intense regime he had gone under but unfortunately he hadn't even come close to the level of training Harry had done and thus the fight's result was already written in stone. ``Expelliarmus!!'' this time Harry used a little bit more power and disarmed Draco and sent him flying like Snape had done to Lockhart. But unlike their previous conflicts resolution, no one laughed at Malfoy and instead an applause broke out for the brilliant display of Magic from both wizards.

``Bravo! The two of you are some of the most excellent up and coming duellists I have seen in a century! I am truly proud to call you my students!'' this time even the few students who were under Gilderoy's illusions almost went onto the stage to beat him up. Luckily for him, Snape came over and diffused the situation before it could escalate any further. ``Quiet!'' Jack had always wondered how Snape was able to let everyone hear him while whispering and even with his level of power, he still hadn't found the answers!
