Chapter 33：Stay with me

After not saying anything and he's been distracted for quite sometime, she decided to not torture him any longer. She gave a hand signal toward Derek who was hidden from the view and the next moment the beach start to light up with pretty decorated lights. Cole was startled. He looked around to see if there is anyone else on the beach but he couldn't seem to find anyone beside them. Or maybe just someone trying to play a prank and took her away from him. The alarming feeling start to creep up on him again. Without any warning, he pulled Aurora closed to him and place her on his lap. He trapped her in his arm and the moment he felt her warmth, his heart start to calm down again. He sighed in relief.

Aurora wasn't expecting him to take this action. However when she saw how insecure he was, her heart ache. She did this to him. Making him having to bear all the torture the moment she left him. Seeing him still not speaking only to lean his head on her shoulder, she decided to make the first move. Slowly she touched his face and hold it up so she can see his face better. The stubble covering his handsome face, the thick eyebrow that she love to touch when he was in coma, the chiseled perfectly nose to complete his dashing look. She took her time inspecting his face ignoring the fact he was trying to hide his face away. Until this point, he still didn't want to look at her for long. His eyes would look elsewhere instead of her face. This is making her frustrated and insulted at the same time.

"If you're not going to say anything then i'm going back." She try to get up before she was trapped tightly inside his embrace. Tightening his hold onto her without realizing he put too much pressure causing her to feel her bone is going to break. He keep shaking his head but he was still struggling to say something, to make a sound but he was unable to do so. So he kept tightening his hold and shook his head as he look into her eye.

Aurora felt like her bones might crushed in his strong embrace decided to tapped a couple of times on his arm to loosen his hold a little bit. Realizing he was hurting her, he immediately loosen his hold despite feeling anxious. She just look at him in the eye without saying anything. Wanting to let him sort out his emotion and giving him a chance. She can see his struggle and place her head on his shoulder with one of her hand place near his beating heart.

"I'm here now. I'm here." She repeat slowly as his heart start to calm down. He nod and she just let him be. It took another couple of minute before she finally heard him say something.

"I love you Aurora. Stay with me."
