24 Kidnap with the Crown Prince, Cinderella, Elijah III

After dressing her wound, Cinderella asks, "If you can do that, can you use magic now."

Drizella shakes her head, "No, the technique I use doesn't require mana and is not magic. It's... more like transferring. Can you summon the three mouses?"

Cinderella tries but the insignia didn't appear on her chest. She can only shake with a dark expression.

Following her Second Awakening, the marking on Cinderella's left-hand turns into an insignia near her chest. The insignia proves that her Second Awakening is successful and the little different appearance of her shows more proof.

Anastasia and all the people she knows have also gone through their Second Awakening... maybe even Clara, Emma, Gray, Stan, and Ellan have too. She hasn't been in contact with them after living in Marquess Tremaine's mansion.

Drizella patted her on the hand: "It's fine, wait a couple of hours to try again."

She herself wanted to call Coco to her side but Coco is with Leon right now. She shouldn't have let Coco journey to Leon when she was meeting the crown prince.

Ah! Uh! Ah! The regret is intolerable to her.

Hours and hours went by but they are still in the wagon. Drizella's whole time is sleeping, sitting like a still doll or watching what the others are doing.

Cinderella is conversing with the other children and people that are also in the wagon. They all have a bright appearance and good nature. Leon being captivated by the sparkling atmosphere joined on their conversations.

Elijah did the same as Drizella, however, he's more of an observer than a sleeper. He's been an a foul mood after hearing Drizella badmouth Cinderella. Even if Cinderella doesn't have the skill to heal herself right now, her skill at healing is one of a kind.

"Are you not angry at your sister for what she said?" Sean asked in a whisper as he saw that Cinderella's complexion isn't bad. The children hearing this also nodded.

She answered, "No. She has always been like that but she isn't a bad person. Daisy is always helping me out. And please call me Cindy instead of Cinderella... it isn't even mine real name so... nothing."

...

Leon thrust his sword forward after dodging the sword heading towards his face. His opponent's reaction was as fast as his thrust, making him dodge by backflipping with only a slit scratch on his arm.

Leon didn't stop his advance as he attempts to catch up to his opponent but stop his advance and turn his head to the sky.

From above a blackish-dark blue bird cry out. The bird has the characteristic of a raven mixed with a crow and is around an arm's length long.

This raven-crow bird is Leon's contracted beast, its cry ring in the sky as it carries itself perches on Leon's arm to his shoulder.

"Hmm... Something must have happened for your bird to come. When you always leave it to its own device." Cain who was sparring with Leon called out.

Leon nodded, "Cindy..."

Cain swiftly approaches Leon and gripped his collar: "What happened to Cindy?!"

"Why don't you let go first," Leon said coldly.

Cain noticing his cold eyes, quickly release his hand: "Sorry. This servant forgot his respect. Please forgive this servant, young master."

Leon straightens his collar: "Don't address yourself as 'this servant' or me as 'young master.' I consider you a dear friend. My two sisters are fine but you on the other hand... have too many shortcomings."

Cain brushed his head not understanding what he intended except he's happy to hear him call him as a dear friend. Even if Leon told him that everything is fine, the seriousness in his eyes and how he's suspending his sword training indicated that thing isn't as fine as he meant.

Cain can only watch him as he made his way to where the Master (Francis) is. He can only wait for Leon's news whether to go or to stay.

Leon steps into the general's room without being stopped by the knights on standby. He walks straight into the room, that is as simple as black and white.

"What is it that you what?" Francis questioned as soon as Leon enter.

Leon didn't bow towards him, whether he went straight to what he wanted to say, "The crown prince, Cindy, Elijah, and Daisy were kidnapped."

Francis prink up his brow, "Did she give you the information?"

"Yes, she did. They aren't in a very tough situation when she contacted me but... now they don't seem to be in the Zovaidel Kingdom. From what I can see and tell they are in somewhere where it is fall of deserts. Their clothes have been changed to slave clothes and are wearing neck devices that prevent the usage of magic." Leon answered as he observes Drizella's surrounding using his left eye.

Drizella and Leon are one person but also two completely different people. They can observe and see what each is experiencing using their [sight]. Leon is his left eye while Drizella is her right eye. However, both of them aren't to the point of using the skill at the same time. Meaning while one person is using [sight] the other can't.

This technique is unique to both of them and they are the only ones who can use the technique. [Sight] doesn't use mana to be activated but something different, involving that two people is the same person, it's similar to puppet control.

Francis nodded understanding the situation but first, there is something he has to do before going to rescue them. His daughter Drizella can protect herself, Cinderella and the Crown Prince. The thing he has to do right now is finding who the mastermind is. It doesn't seem to be a coincidence that they got kidnapped.

...

Every one of them has to change their clothes to a one-piece ragged t-shirt dress. When dressing the burglars didn't separate the group to boys and girls and only uncuff them.

Elijah was ready to launch at them but Sean stops him as he whisper, "Do you want to get the other children involve in a fight you know you can't win."

They have to do everything themselves. Maybe the burglars think that they are just children and are worthless, they don't have a need for privacy.

Drizella cover for all the girls as they change their clothes while Cinderella did the same for her when it's her turn to dress.

The boys weren't allowed to watch as their back faces the girl while they change. After the girls are done, the boys can change however they want.

"What are you looking at?" Elijah's face turns sore.

Drizella smile, "Never thought I'll see you in those ragged clothes."

Elijah replied back, "What about you?"

Drizella looks at herself and twirl. She was wearing the tattered t-shirt long dress with a red ribbon on her waist. The red ribbon is from tearing the red dress that she can't wear anymore. The other girls and Cinderella are almost the same as hers too.

She answered, "This is called fashion!"

The real reason why she's wearing the red ribbon is that there is a ripped hole on the t-shirt dress. The ribbon is just a cover-up for the hole.

"Get out here! Now!" shouting for them can be heard outside.

Elijah clicks his tongue not wanting to follow but still did in the end.

They all are group together as the man with a scare on his left eye towards his mouth, who seems like the leader of the burglars talk with a person, seeming to be a slave merchant.

They talk for a while before reaching an agreement. Shaking hands and trading the stuff they have and want, the burglars went their way.

The slave merchant dug through his bag, pulling out a teleporting scroll.

Drizella is very impressed by how wealthy this man is. Enslaving children and selling them off must've gotten him lots of money. Teleporting scrolls are worth a lot such as the lowest grade is worth 5 gold coins; only the wealthy and noble family can afford them. Those of commoner birth can only save enough money to use the teleporting gates and not for long distances.

The slave merchant chanted some words, creating the same thing she has seen.
