Chapter 265 What Do You Want Me For

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Master, young Master, Miss Zhou is here." The maid motioned to Mandy as she stood in the doorway of Luke's room. The woman was in her early thirties, and as she smiled, Mandy could see the laugh lines across her cheeks.

"I see, bring her in." Damian uncrossed his legs and stood up.

"How do you do President Shi, and... Mr. Shi, you're here too." Mandy's eyes widened momentarily when she caught sight of the two men. She wasn't expecting that Damian would be there as well.

"Doctor Zhou, it's been quite a long time since we last saw you." Luke grinned up at her. He looked warm and amicable, seeing her more as a long lost friend than his doctor.

However, she knew better. The man was just being polite. She quickly changed the topic as she walked over towards him. "It has. I'll check up on you first, President Shi."

Once the routine examination was finished, Mandy straightened her back, smiling at him. "Everything seems to be good," she reported back. "I've noticed you have a lot of plants in your living room. Have you taken a liking on them recently?"

"Very much. I wasn't very appreciative of them when I was young, but now, I'm at this point in my life where I like them." He squinted his eyes. Truly, if Mandy were honest, he looked more like a self-sufficient uncle than a millionaire that happen to be featured in multiple magazines.

"President Shi, there are flowers that you shouldn't inhale from, especially those with fragrance. The pollen could affect your health," she instructed.

"I'll take note of that. I'll have someone move them into the yard." Luke nodded, taking in her advice.

"That's good." Mandy then turned to Damian, thinking that i

he really ask him to do it? Especially if they barely knew each other? Why would he help her?

As if Damian could read her mind, he tilted his head. "Tell me. What is it?"

"Here's the thing. Nathan and... we broke up. After that, he took revenge on my friends. I was hoping if you could help me stop him, prevent him from going after them." She closed her eyes, feeling as if the words had stopped. There was no use hesitating over this anymore. It was either she said it, or she didn't.

Damian gaped at her, surprise surging over his face. "Broke up?" he frowned. "Haven't I already told you that you'd break up sooner or later?"

Mandy glowered, wanting to snap at him or curse at him, but she restrained herself. After all, he was the only person she could turn to.

Since she needed him, she might as well put up with his blunt words. She clenched her fists at the thought.

"So do you have any way to stop him from harassing me now?" She dragged him back to the topic.

"Wait, did you dump him?" Damian leaned in, not taking the bait. In fact, he was grown very interested in the reason why they broke up.
