Mandy shook her head and closed her eyes. She wished that she had made a mistake too. But she was sure, the woman at the mall was the spitting image of Sharon.

"No, Nathan. Is there no other way for you to find them?" Mandy was looking helpless.

Nathan pursed his lips and nodded. He did not want to disclose the truth and put Mandy in danger. Now that Jennifer had joined the JS International, he couldn't help but wonder if someone was behind all this. He had to find out about her.

Mandy rubbed her eyebrows and sighed loudly. "All right," she finally said.

"Honey, you can't bring the dead back to life. So don't think too much. Just close your eyes and rest. The doctor has said that you need to stay here for the night. They have to monitor your health." Nathan smiled and reached out his hand to smooth Mandy's frown.

Mandy nodded and closed her eyes, waiting for sleep to take over and make her forget all the things that had been tormenting her lately.

She was always strong when Nathan was around her. The mere presence of him would make her feel better, regardless of where she was.

At the Ye Family's residence

Simon had brought Nacy back to the Ye Family. They had planned to visit them in the afternoon as Nacy had spent the entire morning putting makeup on. It was afternoon by the time she was done with it. After lunch, Nacy had decided to go shopping for gifts to spoil Simon's parents.

Simon and Nacy were at the door of the Ye's residence with huge shopping bags in their hands. They were greeted by the servant when they rang the doorbell.

"Good evening, young master and Miss Jin." The servant beamed at them as she was happy to see Simon with his future missus.

"Wow! Nacy, you are here!" Caroline walked in with a plate of fruit salad. She placed the plate on the table and skipped forward to pull Nacy into a tight embrace.

"Nice to see you, Aunt Caroline." Nacy smiled politely.

Caroline held Nacy's

ng. She did not want to get married so soon.

"What? Is it too late?" Sarah grinned wickedly.

"Err ... No. It's too fast actually," Nacy said, grinning sheepishly. "Why didn't you discuss it with me?" She cast an accusative glance at her mom and dad.

"It's the responsibility of parents to arrange their daughter's marriage. That's how it has been since the ancient times. Why should we discuss it with you?" Kevin stood up and wrapped his arm around Sarah's waist.

"But arranging a wedding isn't an easy job. We need to prepare for it in advance. We have no time to do anything. How do you think we can get married next Friday?" Nacy tapped her head. "Oh, and the wedding gown! We don't have the time to arrange for one!" she whined. Although she was head-over-heels in love with Simon, she didn't like others deciding their lives.

"Well, I had asked my designer to design your wedding dress three months ago," Sarah said, beaming with joy. "I'm sure you'll love it." She quickly grabbed her phone from the bag and scrolled through the photo album. She finally clicked on the photo of Nacy's wedding dress and showed it to her.

Nacy clamped her mouth in surprise. She couldn't believe that her mother had already prepared for her wedding, and she had been oblivious to it the whole time.
