Chapter 820 Why Don't You Let Me Go To The Parking Lot With You

"Nathan, stop. People will see us." Mandy pushed him away gently, but she wasn't strong enough.

Nathan squinted at her as he let go of her. Then he reached out his hand and intertwined his fingers with hers.

"Wait for me in the hospital, okay? If you're tired, just rest. There are lots of doctors and nurses around anyway, so you don't have to worry about keeping an eye on Adrian all the time." As he spoke, a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he gently stroked Mandy's face.

She nodded and said, "I know, but you also have to listen to me. You can't go and see Eve afterwards."

Her heart was trembling with sheer fear.

What she was most afraid of was that Nathan would be impulsive and do something stupid. She was worried that if Eve made an unreasonable request, Nathan might give in to it.

"Trust me. I won't go anywhere. I'll come straight here after work." Nathan looked her in the eye as if to show his sincerity.

Nathan frowned and in a solemn tone, he said, "No. You can just see me off here. You don't have to go to the parking lot with me."

He had been immensely stressed recently. He and Mandy had once gotten into an accident at the parking lot. They were now at the hospital, and there were all kinds of people here. Thus, he wasn't comfortable having her go back all the way to the ward alone. He was afraid that something bad would happen again.

Mandy curled her lips, unable to figure out what was going on in his mind. Arching her eyebrow in confusion, she asked slowly, "What? Why won't you let me go to the parking lot with you?"
