Later we went to our booth and Silas and Piper insisted me to try a scotch when they realised that I wasn't in a good mood after finding out about Noah.
"Come on! It won't bite." Silas insisted while sliding a glass of scotch towards me.
I bit my lip as I memorised a night when I got drunk in a Frat party and the consequences of that was horrible.
"Come on, Flora. One drink won't be harmful." Piper chided as she raised her glass to cheer. "Besides, you got a big tummy to store this toxin."
I gasped and smacked her on shoulder while in the same time, Silas chuckled.
"Okay! But it'll be my first and last drink of night." I announced, raising the glass.
"după cum dorești doamna mea!" Silas cajoled and we clinked our glasses.
However I proved myself wrong as soon as it Came as no surprise that after taking first drink, I craved for it more and more until it turned into umpteenth drink from my first one of night, and now I'd been acting like a street drunken.
"Hahh! That motherhugger!" I slurred. "What did he think, I'll be a poor heartbroken girl who would cry whole night in his rubbish memories?"
"He definitely doesn't know my girlfriend—" Piper acknowledged as she shifted herself to kiss my cheek but I cringed and gently shoved her away. "She's the one who breaks hearts." Winking at me she wiggled, "Haven't you breaking your husband's heart these days, darling?"
"You are married!" Silas wondered, "Why didn't I get to know that until yet?"
Wiggling my fingers in front of his face I informed him, "Usually a married woman wears her wedding ring all the time, however....as you can see I don't have one."
Yes I'd never gotten a ring because of the terms of my marriage. It was all happened so suddenly.
Silas eyed me suspiciously whereas Piper immediately grabbed my hand and scrutinised it with hawk eyes. "Why the neighbor of your fuck finger doesn't has that holy metal band?" She frowned. While I shrugged nonchalantly.
"Silas, my Friend! I want something more dynamic and vibrant." I pouted at him in a desire to let him offer me a special liquor.
"Sure." Silas grinned, "After all...the night is all yours."
After that he gestured the bartender to come over and when the bartender approached, Silas whispered something in his ear that made his body tense in hesitation as if he wanted to cross-question Silas. But poor bartender had to follow the order as he didn't want to lose his job.
After awhile the bartender returned with a bottle of rum and hesitantly set it on the table.
"What is it?" I asked grinning curiously.
Silas smirked, his eyes flickering a mischievous glint, "This is, my love—'Sunset Rum'—an ocean of elixir, a single drop of which could bring back the dead."
"—and take all the senses of alive." Piper interjected rolling her eyes. "I pass it."
While I gaped, watching the epitome of mind taking and blood rushing master piece.
I gulped the drool that came to my mouth.
"Give me that!" I snatched the glass of wine from Silas's hand and watched it for awhile with widening eyes before gulping the whole content. And that turned out to be my biggest regret as I felt a burning sensation in my throat that made me cringe and I coughed in pain.
Yes. It was the biggest mistake. Even bigger than dating Noah.
"Oww—" I groaned in pain rubbing my throat, "Daily doses of digleberries!"
Seeing me in serious situation, Piper gently rubbed my back and fumed in anger at smirking Silas, "What did you give her? You son of a bitch!"
"Taste of heaven!" Silas smirked nastily while sipping her drink.
"Ahh! It hurts!" I cried. I knew from the start that man was a trickster when I saw his wicked smile, but I didn't know that he would do a nasty thing to me.
"You shouldn't have drink that if you can't handle." Silas vindicated while Piper gave him an death glare. If I wasn't in a serious condition then Piper would've killed him mercilessly. But she knew that I needed her and it would be a waste of time to kill a bastard.
"I....I....w...want...t..to...g—"
"Flora?" Suddenly I familiar soul soothing voice approached to my ears and when I looked up with my reddened and wet eyes, I saw two fuming Roman with my blurry vision.
He strides closer and grabbing me through my wrist pulled me up that made me stumble a bit.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He fumed, his eyes full of fire and suddenly I felt fireworks inside my body. He eyed me from head to toe and stopped at my breast. "Why are you wearing this?" He said, his sharp jaws clenching.
"Hello to you too, brother!"
Roman's eyes widened all of a sudden and his grip on my wrist tightened that made me winced in pain but he didn't seem to realise it as he turned around to face smirking Silas.
"What the fuck are you doing with my wife?" Roman hissed with gritted teeth.
'Wow! He looks more hot in person.' I heard Piper's mumbling.
In the meantime, Silas stared at me from top to bottom that made me cringe in disgust. "So...she's your wife." Silas smirked, "If I were you, I would've tied her to my bed all the time....naked."
"motherfucker!" Immediately, Roman's hand left mine and met to Silas's face as he punched him brutally. However his filthy smirk didn't drop a bit.
Meanwhile, I leaned against the chair to save myself from falling and glanced at Piper who had been grinning silently.
"Why are you being so arrogant, brother?"
"I'm not your brother!" Roman yelled while grabbing him through his Jacket.
Suddenly, Silas's mouth curled up in a satisfied smirk, "Woah! Don't tell me you haven't fucked her yet?"
Meanwhile, Roman's jaws clenched as the two brothers gave each other a death glare. What? Brothers? Since when?
"B....Brothers?" I slurred blinking my eyes to see them clearly.
Silas tilted his head to look at me and grinned, "Yes!"
"Cousins!" Roman interjected.
Oh okay. Now everything is clear except my brain which is jiggling against my thick skull.
"Kind of same thing, brother."
"Roman!" I called him and he immediately jerked Silas away. When he looked at me his face softened and he cupped my face to scrutinise me.
"What did you give her?" He snarled and glanced back at Silas who just returned a crooked smirk.
"This bastard offered her this when he was well known that she wouldn't be able to handle the liquor." Piper snarled showing the Rum bottle.
"Shit" Roman cursed under his breath. While I felt my legs went numb and I was about to fall back, but Roman held me and scooped my in his arms.
"H..Home." I hardly whispered.
Roman glanced down at me with softened expression and mumbled, "It's okay, baby. We're going home."
Suddenly, I felt warmth in my heart hearing his soft and kind voice.
"You too..." he said to Piper, "Go home. Now."
Piper nodded, "I will. Just take care of her, okay."
He assured her as he nodded gently, and giving a last death glare to Silas, he walked out of the club with me in his warm arms.
