10 She'll be my wife

Lin Rehan did not hear an answer. Instead Lee Shira only nodded in response that made her chuckle. "I can't blame your grandfather. You never had a woman." 

"I do not need a useless woman" Lee Shira immediately answered with a cold voice. He never wanted to touch just any woman, but his grandfather keeps on pestering him to get married. 

"You just turned thirty-two, and you should have a family by now. Unless you like men." Lin Rehan jokingly said while studying her son's face that immediately turned dark. 

There was a sudden drop of temperature that immediately covered the whole room, but before Lin Rehan can speak, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." 

Aryen who brought a tray with a cup of tea, opened the door after getting a permission to step in, but she suddenly felt a terrible chill that made her body shiver. 

Wearing a red off shoulder dress that shows her perfect curves and displays her exquisite legs, Aryen suddenly felt nervous with unknown reason. She is not used to wear such clothes in front of a man. 

Nonetheless, she tried to ignore the unpleasant atmosphere and started to approach the sofa and silently placed the tea cups on the mini table. 

What Aryen didn't expect was to feel a pair of fierce eyes carefully scanning her, but she tries to ignore it while she bowed down to give respect before she leaves. 

Surprisingly, when Aryen turns around and about to leave, a strong arm suddenly hooked her thin waist and pulled her towards him while making her sit on his lap. 

Lin Rehan: "..." 

"Ahh!" Aryen screamed in shock! Her heart began throbbing while her cheeks bump into a firmed toned chest, despite the clothes on his body. 

Aryen eyes widened and immediately tries to struggle from his arms that only tightened, she raised her head while the first thing she saw was a pair for fierce eyes behind a pair of clear eye glasses. 

Aryen: "..." 

Her body suddenly stiffened, their faces were just an inch away while she can feel his sweet warm breath on her face where he only needs to lower his head and their lips will touch each other. 

Before Aryen can speak, Lee Shira who looked back at his mother who has a stunned expression, he coldly claimed without giving a place for rejection. "She'll be my wife" 

Lin Rehan: "!!!" 

Aryen: "!!!" What?! 

Like a lightning bolt that hits Aryen's heart, her body instantly frozen after hearing Lee Shira's claim, while her heart almost stopped beating while she feels his arms on her waist. 

As for Lin Rehan, she didn't feel different from Aryen after she had heard her son's words. She looked at Lee Shira who still has an expressionless face. 

However, there was a sudden silence in the room until Lin Rehan recovered from shock and cough slightly to clear her throat to speak. 

"That's good, she needs resources for her revenge while you need someone to pretend to be your wife. You two can help each other." Lin Rehan said after calming her heart that made Aryen came back to her senses. 

Aryen: "!!!" Hold on! Not with him! 

Trepidation began to spread on Aryen's heart, she is well-aware about what people say about Lee Shira being fierce and dangerous man in the business industry. 

However, before she can speak, Lee Shira claimed without giving any chance for Aryen to reject. "She can use all my wealth, but she will be my real wife" 

Lin Rehan: "..." 

Aryen: "..." 

After his words, Lee Shira swiftly lifted Aryen without giving her a chance to struggle before he stood up and took her away out of his mother's office leaving Lin Rehan dumbfounded. 

As for Aryen, she was completely stunned while she can't struggle on Lee Shira's arms. 'I thought I can fight, why can't I move!' She said on her thoughts. 

Aryen tries to struggle but when Lee Shira stopped his steps while his fierce eyes moved to looked at Aryen who was about to get down on his arms. 

Aryen: "..." 

Feeling a warning glare looking down at her, Aryen's body stiffened. She still wanted to struggle, but she can feel a dangerous atmosphere from Lee Shira. She speaks with a trembling voice. "I.. I can.. Walk.."
