Chapter 14 - UA sports festival (1)

The next morning, Ken went to the school and do the same routine for another 2 weeks.

But in these two weeks, Ken has trained harder in the past days because he knows that although there is a lower percentage of him losing.

There is no end of regret if he loses so he trained to reach the level where he can overlook every situation.

Everyone from hero class to other classes is preparing with their best effort for this UA sports festival.

After two weeks,

Ken and other students from class 1-A are waiting for the time that the festival will start.

Ken and other students from class 1-A are wearing the usual school sports clothes and not their costumes.

Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari are talking about wanting to wear their costumes while Rikido Sato and Handa Sero are wondering what is the first type of match for this school festival.

Then the door of their room is opened and Tenya Lida came in a hurry and said "Everyone are you ready for this completion?".

Noone responds to Tenya Lida but Todoroki Shoto walked toward Ken and said "Although you are clearly stronger than me I will not give up and certainly surpass you".

"Hmm, are you serious about trying to surpass me with half of your strength? Are you okay? If what I said is true then don't dream about it as you surpassing me is impossible." said Ken said to Shoto with a mocking smile.

The air around Shoto condensed and ice starts to appear and he said with an angry voice "To win you I don't need to use the other half".

Ken heard the voice of Shoto and said with the same mock smile "Even if you use the other half, you can't win me as we are not the same level so don't jump to my side otherwise I will kick you off from my side."

Then the sound of Mike-sensei from outside.

Outside Mike-sensei is doing an introduction to the audience and mass media. After a while, a staff came and tell us to go so Ken and others walked slowly out of the entrance to the middle of the fields and we stopped in front of the podium.

Mike-sensei continues to introduce the students and gradually first-year class-A to class-K are standing quietly in front of the podium.

Then Midnight slowly walked toward the podium with a beautiful catwalk on the podium and she tells everyone to remain silent and she called the first person from the entrance exam.

So Ken walked toward the podium and said to the crowd in front of him "In this UA festival, I will show you guys the disparities between me and you guys so prepare yourself well and struggle more so that you can entertain me more".

The moment Ken said that the people below boiled and the field become filled with curse voices.

But class 1-A is filled with silence. Not even Bakugo Katsuki is opening his mouth.

Oochako Uraraka opened her mouth and said "If other students tell that I will try to protest but when Ken said that it is kind of legit".

Then Midnight chose the first sport for the first wave and the slotting machine behind her stopped on obstacle race so the first elimination race is an obstacle race.

After that Midnight told all of the students to stand in front of the gate with red color and the countdown begin.

Ken analyzed the nature of this match and the entrance point to the match and he saw that the entrance is kind of small for all the students to go in together so the first obstacle will be passed through the entrance before anyone else.

But these petty tricks are useless in front of him and Ken used his quirk to transform to Oni form.

Ken became 7 meters tall with red skin covered his whole body.

The moment countdown became zero, Ken runs to pass the entrance but he is blocked by other students in front of him but he jumped to the wall of the entrance and use his hands by sinking his fingers to the wall of the entrances and pass the first obstacle.

The second obstacle is the same robots from the entrance exam so Ken doesn't meet that much trouble bypassing them but he stopped for a while because he saw seven 0 point robots in front of him so he jumped high until he reached the head of a 0 point robots and punch him with the strength that will make it get out of his way but he doesn't finish it as he wants them to continue to guard the students from passing.

Then Ken arrived at "The fall" and he saw the ropes that are connected one rock to another and have to pass by crawling on the ropes but Ken doesn't need to use ropes. He jumped from one rock to another and he passed that stage.

Ken running toward the next obstacle and he saw a field that with some places with traces of something buried underneath.

Mike-sensei introduced the function of this obstacle to the audience "Now Ken is the only one who reached the final stage while the others are struggling in the second stage".

"The final obstacle is "Minefield" where we buried some mines that will not damage the participants with any kind of injuries but their sound is so loud that will make you wet your pants, and we have to see how Ken will pass this stage," said Mike-sensei.

Ken can pass this obstacle with wing form but that will make it too easy so Ken decided to just run through the minefield with his best speed.

So Ken prepared himself well and take the posture of the running and he kicks strongly toward the ground beneath him.

The moment he kicks the ground, his body move like a bullet that came out of a gun and nothing can stop him and after a few minutes he passed the tunnel to the finish line and he secured the first stage as the champion.
