"He started arguing with me on an issue about a friend of his, named Peter Black, who had committed suicide. He was blaming me for the suicidal death of his friend."
"I was zapped as I did not know any such fellow who would have killed himself because I did not love him back."
"I told him that I don't know any friend of his."
"He insisted that his friend, Peter, was in love with a Margret who was a Botany student in my class."
"Apparently, I had made a fool of his friend and ditched him."
"I tried to reason with him that there was no other girl called Margret in my class."
"I told him that, it could be, that the girl might have used a random name of Margret and told his friend about studying Botany in order to trick his friend."
"I then insisted to show me the proof that I am that girl like letters that she wrote to his friend. To show me some pictures or portrait drawn of this Margret."
"I did point out that he could tally my handwriting with the writing in those lettes and see for himself."
"I was being accused for something I had never done."
"I told him that the head of this study trip is my father, Professor Albert Smith and he needs to put these accusations about me, before my father, along with any proof that you possesses."
"I further added that I did not even know his name and if I knew his friend then surely, his friend would have told me his name or introduced me to him?"
" I suggested that we go back and sort out this issue in a civilized manner."
"He told me that his name was Ian Brown and he was not mistaken. He had seen a sketch of my face in his Peter's hands when he discovered Peter's body."
"He also told me that my name was written on that sketch and that he had decided to join this study trip so that he could inform me what Peter went through and punish me."
"I questioned Ian Brown angerily as to who was he to cast aspertions on me?"
"I then again told him that had neither met Ian Smith nor your friend, Peter Browm, in my entire life and I didn't want to know such people."
"I told him that it was a matter of mistaken identity. To me, it seems that Ian's friend, Peter, was a mental case fit for a mental asylum. He probably needed a reason to commit suicide and somehow, I had became that reason. If Ian was such a great friend of Peter, why was Ian not there when Peter committed suicide?"
"Now I was getting furious and was literally shouting."
"Ian also lost his cool and started pushing me around. I realised that he meant me harm."
"All of a sudden random thoughts started to conjure in my mid and chase each other.....
... I felt that this friend issue was not the reason. Maybe there was another reason for picking up this fight with me, perhaps this entire dram was to get the project abandoned or stalled. To do that a serious situation was necessary. Enemies of my father had perhaps paid off this person to come and create havoc here.....
"The altercation took us to the edge of a cliff. Soon both of us toppled over. I think we both died."
"OK, Margret, now I want you to come back to the present life of Tania."
"I will count backwards from 10. When I reach 1 you will be wide awake. ok."
As the Doctor counted from 10 backwards to 1, Tania woke up from her trance like state.
"Nothing," the Doctor replied.
"Tania would you care for a glass of water?"
Before Tania could say yes, he had already called his assistant on the intercom asking him to send three glasses of water.
The assistant brought the water and as soon as he left, Tania started asking questions.
"What happened? How was it?"
"Actually, you took us on another life's journey of yours," the Doctor spoke with a thoughtful expression on his face and carried on saying, " Like last time, I recorded your replies to the questions I asked you."
"I do not think you remember anything?"
"No."
"I think you need to listen," saying this the Doctor pressed the play button.
Tania heard all that she had said while she was under hypnosis. When she was Saroj Verma, an Intern at a hospital in Rajasthan. On the night of 1978 how she was murdered by her medical college professor by the name of 'Mihr Mishra'. He did not like that his own daughter, 'Komal Mishra', was less competent. He had come to visit his daughter and had found out that she had been reprimanded. Instead of telling off his daughter, he considered Saroj to be the culprit and he came to the canteen of the hostel. First he made her unconscious by placing a choloformed hankerchief over her nose and mouth and then turned on the gas, shut the doors to run away.
Saroj died but her soul chased Mihr who got run over by a speeding vehicle, while crossing the road. Mihr died and her soul returned to the canteen but it was too late. She was declared dead due to an accident. But she knew that Mihr who looked like her Uncle Igor was the murderer.
She had proceeded to a place for recuperation.
Tania had then described another life when she was born in a village near Kiev, Ukraine in 1981 and her name was Anastasia. She had died at a young age of 10 years along with her parents in a fire that had engulfed their farmhouse. People thought the neighbours were the culprits as there existed an enemity between her father and the neighbour regarding land.
The fire had occured on Christmas night, when the erstwhile USSR had broken up the next day in 1991. There was chaos everywhere. Independent countries came up from the old USSR. Ukraine was one of them and it became an independent republic"
