[Class: Omega Designer. (Uncommon)
Descriptions: Omega Designer is one of the noblest professions in the Maha tower. Omega Designer deals with creating or alternating omega codes. With this class, you get: basic knowledge of omega codes, basic Axi scripts mastery, intermediate mana applications.
P.S: Succeeding in this class does not make you a designer. Only the fewest of the insightful people can be an actual designer.
Price: 1000 omega credits.]
"Omega Designer? Wrik, don't tell me," Tanya said as a frown appeared on her brows. "You're thinking about this."
"Yes," Wrik said, his eyes still on the screen. "With the discount in place, I can afford this."
"But it will cost you everything," Tanya continued. "You can't buy anything else after this."
Wrik nodded. "I don't think I can get anything better with only a hundred omega points," he said.
He was about to purchase the class when Ryat sounded out.
"Hold on, lad," the bald shopkeeper said. "Didn't you read? Just succeeding in this class will not make you a designer. The price of this thing is so low is because the omega council wants it to be. It's just their ploy to find potential designers.
"That means it's gold to some, but it's absolutely shit to most. I reckon you to be one of those smarter ones, don't waste the points you gain through life and death struggle into something you do not know."
"Thanks for the heads up, Mister Ryat. I know what I'm doing," Wrik said. Once he decided on something, there were not many things that could stop him. "I think I have what it takes. Insight, right?"
Wrik made the payment as the omega points in his status turned to zero.
Ryat shook his head as a crystal round bead appeared in his palm. He gave that bead to Wrik, saying. "Careful, don't drop it or else your 100 points would go to waste."
"This is the class?" Wrik was dumbfounded. It was just like a crystal egg. Though the thing gave off an unusual vibe, Wrik still could not grasp what was so special about it. "How does it work?"
"It's quite easy actually, just crush it when you're ready and then absorb it like absorbing maha mana," Ryat answered. "Don't use it here, you should prepare your mind before even thinking about advancing."
Wrik nodded as he pocketed in the crystal bead for safekeeping.
"Alright then. Anyone else want to buy any class?" Ryat continued, looking at the others.
Tanya shook her head. There were not many classes here that interested her, so she gave up.
Michelle gave up as well. Her reasons were the same, though she didn't have many points left for anything. She spent most of her omega points on the treatment of An Byul.
While Byul said no to the class as well.
"Well then, let's look at the omega abilities and skills now," Tanya said, as she opened the new tab on the list. "This time, it seemed there's a lot."
"Of course, there are thousands of skills and abilities in there," the salesman said from the sideline. "You guys should use the keywords in the search tab to save time."
Tanya nodded. "Tell me if you need something?"
"Oh, look for knife or blade skills related to shadow attributes," Anton said as he came forward and stood beside Tanya.
Tanya searched with the keywords: Shadow attribute, knife, Blade on the search tab, as many articles appeared on the screen as a result.
[Skill: Shadow Blade. Grade: B
Price: Digital version: 100 omega points. HS version: 20000 omega points.]
[Skill: Shadow Steps Grade: A
Price: Digital Version: 1000 omega points. HS version: 50000 omega points.]
[. .. ]
"There are a lot of skills with similar applications. If you need anything for clearance, don't hesitate to ask me," Ryat said from the sideline.
"What is this digital version and HS version here?" Anton asked. "And why is there such a difference in their price? Are you trying to rob us?"
"Oh, I forgot you're all newbies," Ryat cleared out everyone's doubt over the issue. "Digital version means you would only get a copy of the skill in your omega handler, that's why it was so cheap. With that, if you're talented enough, you may be able to learn the skill. While HS version means habitual synchronisation, as the name suggests, it could create a habit of the skill after the synchronisation. Moreover, there's a chance to get the insights of the creator of the skills. Basically, the HS version is a shortcut."
"So the digital version is a book while the HS like is a play," Wrik commented.
"It's more than a play," Ryat said. "Think like when you advance to a class you get a lot of information, a habit is inscribed in your mind. You gained a lot of knowledge in just a few minutes. It is like that. Habitual synchronisation can make you master the skill rather quickly, though it's only limited to the creator's proficiency in that skill. While with the digital version, you have to spend months to learn a skill, and that is if you're talented."
"I hate capitalism," Anton shouted, kicking the wall.
"Everyone says that," Ryat laughed. "I should not say this, but you guys should be careful in choosing the HS version of any skill. With all the advantages, there comes a price as well. Our mind, Soul is not a trash can where you put all the waste in."
"Are there some consequences of HS skills?" Anton frowned.
"Of course there is," Ryat said. "Like the number of omega abilities you can have is limited, there is a limit of habitual synchronisation as well. All I can say is do not put even one garbage skill into your soul."
"Alright, I get what you're trying to say," Anton said, pondering. "I should not fill any slot with garbage skill, is that right?"
Ryat nodded. Even though what he said was different.
"Well, I don't have that many omega points to buy the HS version either," Anton continued, with his attention at the big screen. "I already have the Shadow Steps. Let's look into some stealth skills."
Anton tapped in one particular ability as a larger tab opened.
[Skill: Shadow Stealth. (Grade: A)
Descriptions: This skill utilizes the shadow attribute to mask one's aura, presence, and even the physical body. With higher-level mastery in this skill, the mahasayer can hide in someone else's shadow without them noticing.
Requirements: At Least Rank C or above in Shadow mastery.
Rank C or higher in Maha Mana applications.
30 or above stat number in Magic power and Perception.
Price: Digital version: 1000; HS version: 20000.]
"Shit!" cursed Anton. "I seem to not meet any of the requirements."
"But that doesn't mean you would not meet it in the future," Wrik said, gaining interest in that skill.
How the skill was described in the descriptions was almost like a cheat. Hiding in someone's shadow to assassinate them—sounds way too cool. Even Wrik had some envy at the skill, but what he could do he had no affinity towards the Shadow element.
"Fair point." Anton nodded.
