Chapter 103 - Esther Wants To Kiss Cyrus

Ch-102 

"Don't wake her up!" Cyrus said as he kept his pointing finger on his lips, as he motioned him to stay silent. 

Cyrus scooped Reggie into his arms and carried him to his room. "Mom came here running the moment she heard you are sick without having any breakfast and till now she didn't sleep and took care of you without eating a single thing. Let her rest. We will freshen up and make food for her by the time she wakes up!" Cyrus said to his son. 

"Mom Loves Reggie the best!" he said with a bright smile, his pale face brightened with his big smile lifting the heavy stone in Cyrus's chest. "Let's hurry and wash up!" Cyrus said coldly. Reggie snorted at him and grumbled 'daddy is a cold guy!' Both Reggie and Cyrus washed up together. Cyrus took care that the water didn't touch the wounds on his face, he got him dressed. Reggie went back to his room and snuggled to his mother to accompany her to sleep. Cyrus went down and ordered the servants to prepare food for them. He went to see his son and soon-to-be-wife in Reggie's room but the scene made him smile. He went and slept with him. If Cyrus can, he would go and sleep beside Esther but she didn't accept him fully. So, he decided to keep Reggie in the middle. Cyrus slept with the two bunnies and placed his arms around the two as he pulled them closer to him. Esther who was fast asleep frowned a bit, drawing her eyebrows together indicating that she was having a problem with her sleep. Cyrus smoothened her eyebrows and kissed her on her forehead as he patted her on the shoulder assuring her that there was someone for her. 

Esther who was sleeping was having a nightmare where she was killing people mercilessly without any pity. She heard her being called "Maa Kali" (Mother Kali = Goddess Kali, who was known for the slayer of evil!). She wanted to wake up but she felt a small soft thing embracing her but that thing's embrace made her see a scene that included a big sword that can cut a human head. Esther saw someone trying to do witchcraft. She felt suffocated, she couldn't breathe properly. At that time, someone touched her with their fingers making her feel calm. And Esther felt something warm and soft on her forehead for a few seconds. The things in her dream were blurring away with the warmth. To her disappointment, the warmth on her forehead was gone in very few seconds but as if someone heard her cry she felt the familiar warmth assuring her as they patted her on her shoulder. Her nightmare was gone just like that. She slept safely with the warmth she felt. Cyrus, who was patting her he also slept without knowing when he slept. 

Esther woke up at midnight. When she opened her eyes she felt something soft was hugging her. She saw Reggie was hugging her to sleep with his reddened face while Cyrus wrapped his arm around the both of them acting like a shield that protects from evil. 

[FAMILY!] she screamed in her mind as a small smile spread across her face. But that didn't stay for long. She realized she was thinking wrong again. She doesn't need a family right now. She needs to be a person whom everyone would respect. Esther wanted to move but she didn't. Because from the morning Cyrus was busy taking care of Reggie and was tired. Even yesterday she slept soundly in his lap but he didn't sleep. 

Esther pitied him for overworking and hardworking. It's really hard for him to manage the business and take care of a child like this. Indeed, he cannot trust servants, only his wife can be trusted. And not everyone likes to care for an adopted son like Reggie except her. But a part of her was saying that he was doing that for her and he loves her. Even though she wanted to agree with it, she knew he never showed his love to her. 

But looking at his sleeping face she smiled as he noticed his handsome features. She knew he was from the south part of the globe, so it didn't surprise her to see his features vary from her. Speaking of that, Reggie's, Herself, her family, Nicholas, Garcia's, Ben, and the bodyguard of Reggie's have different facial features compared to the people. She wondered if they all come from the same place or belonged somehow. But immediately she knocked her head and called herself for overthinking like that. Esther noticed his sharp features, his sharp nose, outlined jaw, wide forehead, thick lashes, plump lips, and mustache. His mustache made him look like a divine being. She rolled his mustache making the edges sharp and twisted it upwards making him look like a Dravidian King walking out of the history books. Esther has a sudden urge to kiss his mustache. 

[Can I kiss it?] she thought. 

[Yes! He is sleeping!] Raudramukhi said immediately as she appeared out of nowhere. 

[Why are you here? Where do you live?]  Esther asked immediately. 

[I know you doubt me. And always think that I come and go whenever I want. There is a mind space in your mind. It will be there till I exist. After that, it will disappear when my soul merges with you!]  Raudramuki said. 

[Now! Kiss him!]  she said. 

[IF I kiss him, doesn't it make me a pervert!] Esther asked. 

[Who cares? What if he kisses you when you are asleep?] Raudramuki asked. 

[I don't think he would do it!]  Esther said. 

[Right! He will also think you didn't do it! How will a man like him expect you to kiss him when he was rejected by you badly!]  Raudramuki said. 

[ Fine! Fine! I will kiss him! You leave now!]  Esther shooed her away. 

[You can do it, Esther!] She encouraged herself.
