Chapter 115 - I Need..... Need..... Innerware!

Ch-114

*beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*

Nicholas heard the busy tone from the other side. He wanted to complain something more but this man hung up.

Damn! He was the trusty dog to his sister-in-law. When the time comes, he will be the person with power. Nicholas imagined Cyrus came running to him as he begged him to give him an allowance, begging him to pick his call, begging him as he ran around Nicholas. Nicholas smiled at his imagination. Soon, those days will come. If he needs to enjoy those days, he needs Esther to marry his brother. He has to make opportunities. With his daydreams, he left the Benjamin empire as he hummed a tune.

Esther made Reggie sleep in her room. After tucking him securely in the blanket, she got up and freshened herself. In the night, Reggie woke up feeling groggy. Esther saw him wake up and went to him. "Hungry?" Esther asked as she hugged him into her embrace. Reggie leaned into her embrace as she felt the warmth of her soft body. He liked being in his mom's embrace.

"Yesh!" Reggie said.

"Wash your face. Then we will have dinner." Esther said. Reggie nodded his head. With that, both mother and son separated. After dinner, they both returned to their room and slept cuddling with each other.

-----------------------

Next-day…

"Mom, What shall I wear? I didn't get any clothes?" Reggie asked as he came out of the bathroom wrapping a big size towel that completely covered his body. Reggie felt like he was walking with a blanket.

Esther smiled when she saw the struggle of her son with his towel.

"Reggie, Mom got you a pair of clothes. Try them once." Esther said as she placed a pair of clothes in front of him.

"Mom…" He called out.

"Yes, Dear?" she responded.

"I need… need…" Reggie strutted as he said.

"You need?" Esther asked.

He is a man after all! He needs his boxers! How could he say that to a woman being a 'man'! He can't go and say, 'Mom, I need boxers!' That would be pretty embarrassing. He thought hard about it for a few minutes. Yes, they were called inner clothes! Yes! That's right! That's the right word!

"That...Inner clothes!"  Reggie said immediately. His little face turned red like strawberry.

"All are there in them," Esther said as she pinched his red cheeks.

"Reggie, Mom will take a bath. You get dressed up and wait for me in the dining hall," Esther said as she took a towel before going inside the bathroom.

"Ok, Mom," Reggie said.

He got dressed up and combed his hair neatly. He realized his dad looked handsome when he combs his hair back. So… maybe he will look handsome too if he combs his hair backward. That's right! Mom likes handsome people. He should look handsome too. So that mom will never leave him! Yesh! With determination, Reggie combed his hair back. He gave a last look to himself in the mirror.

"Reggie is the most handsome! Mommy will definitely like me!" Reggie praised himself as he looked at himself in the mirror. After he was satisfied he went out and greeted his grandparents.

"Good morning, great-grandpa," Reggie greeted before running to him for a hug.

"Good morning, Cute grandson!" Charles Windsors replied to his great-grandson as he scooped him in his hands. Reggie liked being lifted in the air. He kissed him on his great grandfather's wrinkled cheeks.

"You like it?" Charles Windsors asked. Reggie nodded.

"You can ask your dad to do it for you," the old man said.

"No! great gramps, Dad said these kinds of things are done by silly kids. And Reggie is a man. A man shouldn't like this," Reggie said with a point on his lips.

Charles Windsors:  "..."

[What can I expect from that guy? He didn't change a bit even after so many centuries.] He snorted at him in his heart and turned his gaze to Reggie.

"I will tell dad to lift you in the air from time to time. Okay?" Charles Windsors said.

"Yesh! Great-grandpa is best!" Reggie squealed in joy.

He was about to sing a nonsensical, non- rhythmical, and childish on-spot song but was interrupted when he heard his mother's voice.

"Reggie, You should thank grandpa if you like the deed. Not only grandpa, anyone, who does something you like. You should thank them. Okay?" Esther said as she took him into his arms.

Esther was wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans, the same as Reggie. Even Reggie was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. They both looked like real mother and son.

"Mom is beautiful!" Reggie praised.

"My little baby is also very cute and handsome," Esther praised him back. Getting a compliment from his mother, his whole face turned into a red cherry. Seeing her shy son she bit his cheeks slightly making him even redder. She smiled seeing him get shy or shyer. Damn! She has no words to describe how she is feeling. Esther liked this moment with her son. How she wished this can last until her last breath. Her family, her son, and herself. But… suddenly her heart said with the presence of Cyrus the whole scenario would be complete and blissful. For a second she also thought with Cyrus, her life would be complete.

Damn!

What the hell was she thinking? She shook her head and concentrated on eating her food while serving Reggie. Esther had a list of few things to buy. Since Reggie was with her, she needed to buy a child seat in the car. A small towel, brush, and a few clothes and toys. And there were a lot of things. And with big spoons, it's hard for him to handle the weight of it. She needs to buy small cutlery and dishes. And a small jug, small bottle, and there were a lot of small things for her to buy for this small Cyrus.

After dinner, Esther took Reggie out of the gate before asking the driver to follow them. But when she saw the presence of a certain someone. She was petrified.. Why was he here? That was the question she got in her brain.
