Ch-165
"Kris, there was a guest house in the backside of the palace. You may stay there. Also, ask every servant to leave the Palace for me. And don't let them inform me of me being here till next morning," Esther ordered.
"Oh! Ask them to make food for us, Right now. The sun is setting. Before the moon rises, this palace should be like an abandoned one." she added.
"As you say, My Princess!" he replied.
[Food?] Raudra Muki asked.
[I am hungry.] Esther said as she shrugged her hands.
Raudra Muki facepalmed her head as she looked at her reborn self.
As Esther asked, the servants prepared food for her and Kris. Kris ate his food and left. Esther ate her food slowly before the table. The servants cleaned the dishes and left. By the time everything was over, the sky turned dark.
[Now… what's next?] Esther asked.
[Your grandfather's study.] he replied.
[okay!] she said as she moved on. She knew trembling and being nervous wouldn't help a single thing. So, she chose to stay calm and collected.
She reached his study and twisted the cold doorknob and stepped inside it. Unlike his study in the capital city, here his study was different. His study has small potted plants, a shelf filled with books, and a wall decorated with paintings. And another wall, which was filled with ancient writings of Sanskrit. She didn't understand a single thing. So, she didn't spare a glance at it and looked around. There was a table in the middle of the room. A lamp was placed on it and a set of ancient wine which was brewed with hands. Esther knew her grandfather's wine addiction. He loves the wine which was brewed with his hands and drinks it whenever he works. Unlike others, he doesn't drink tea. No matter how old he was, he didn't look like an old man. He could stand straight. He doesn't need a cane for support while walking.
She sat in his chair and looked at the wall in front of her. Esther was shocked to see the wall painted with her grandmother's younger days picture. She never heard about her grandmother. She only knows her grandfather and grandmother loved each other deeply. Even in the painting, she could see her grandmother's beautiful eyes. Her eyes looked as bright as the stars in the sky and as clear as the northern lights. Her eyes were enough to capture one's attention. No wonder she heard that her grandfather has a lot of competition. She heard he has to use different means to get her heart.
As if her eyes were calling her, she got up and walked towards the painting. She put her fingers on her brown eyes and caressed them with her fingers as if brushing a feather on them. To her shock, the painting rolled into a bundle and a wall appeared. She placed her both palms on the middle of the wall as she stood unmoved.
[So… this is the wall my grandfather said.] she muttered.
[Do I need to go somewhere?] Esther asked Raudra Muki.
[I will guide you no more. You know what to do from now.] Raudra Muki said.
[How would I know?] she asked.
[Did I ask you to go near the painting? Or open this wall? You did it yourself. As you go you will know. I can't enter from here. If I try my soul may vanish.] with that Raudra Muki disappeared.
[So… I have to find my existence by myself. Interesting.] Esther thought.
The wall opened making huge grumbling sounds. It broke into two pieces, while one went right while the other went left. The most shocking thing was the painting stayed intact. It didn't move or was destroyed. With its position, it should be destroyed by now but it didn't. She hid her amusement and went inside.
She saw a few steps leading inside it. She climbed the steps which took her down. There she saw a dark room, there was no light in it. She took a few more steps forward at that second the room was lit with glaring chandelier lights. The room wasn't some storage room. It looked like a royal hall. The floor was made of white marble, the walls were painted white the corners and pillars in the hall were coated with gold. The room was carved with Dravida architecture. She opened her mouth in awe as she saw the glittering room. But she felt there was something more to it.
[North-East] she heard a voice saying.
It's not Raudra Muki but someone else. Nevertheless, she walked. But she didn't notice a woman wearing a red saree standing behind her with a smile as she gazed at Esther. The woman looked exactly like the one in the painting, she was just beautiful and breathtaking when she smiled.
The soul closed her eyes and muttered as she said, "she is here"

Meanwhile…
On the other side…
Charles Windsors who was sipping his tea spilled all the tea on him as he heard his wife's soul talking to him. This was the first time in fifty years after she went back to Atlantis but he knew she left a small part of her soul in the old palace locking it in her painting. It could be awakened only when Esther touches it. At that time, he asked her "Why are you so sure she would come here?"
"Destiny gets her here. Well… she will come only if she rewrites it. If not only death would get her!" with that she left him and this human world.
Now he heard her saying, "She is here,"
Wait!
Esther went there and unlocked it! But she knew too little about the palace secrets! He didn't reveal all. But again, he calmed down. She would be the future queen, she should know them by herself.
But one thing which made him happy was…. Her destiny. Reaching there means rewriting her destiny. Like her in a past life, she will not die. She will live!
A smile formed on his lips as he ignored the burning pain on his chest.
"Father! Clean yourself!" Lia's voice brought him out of his thoughts.
"Yes!" he said and went to his room to clean.
