Chapter 245 - I Came For Food, Not For You!

Ch-244

After a few seconds, the light absorbed into his body, he fell onto the messy ground as the pieces of broken vases and glass pieces pierced into his body as the blood oozed out from his rippled skin.

Cyrus's body went limp after his fall. His heart started beating again, his pulse was getting back. He started breathing, making his chest move up and down.

"Hmm… his life came back," the woman mumbled.

He slept for a few hours there. Cyrus tried to open his eyes, but he couldn't move his body. He felt like all his bones were broken before they were fixed again. He couldn't even move a single limb in his body.

Cyrus slowly opened his eyes and saw a woman… "Sodhari? [Sister?]" he mumbled before closing his eyes again.

Yes! The woman was none other than the present Queen of Basilisk, who was handling the Vyaghranakha and the whole Basilisk empire single-handedly, Divya Shakti Basilisk!

Shakti's smile widened at his words. She took out another pouch from her waist, there was white clear liquid in it. She opened the cap of the bottle, the cap of the bottle looked like a dropper. She opened his mouth and dropped three drops in his mouth. His wounds healed, the body aches he felt were getting cured. He was regaining his consciousness. In a couple of minutes, he sat straight.

His mind felt foggy and hazy for a few minutes. But he soon recovered, his gaze cleared.

Earlier, he thought it was his imagination, now when he saw the clear picture of his sister, a small smile blossomed on his face. The usually cold man's face is filled with childish expressions. A wide and carefree smile blossomed on his face.

"Sis…." He said as he pounded into her embrace.

"Hmm… My little brother is happy." Shakti commented as she patted his head. He nodded his head like a cute little rabbit.

"Care to share with me?" she added as she saw his eagerness with him.

"She said…. She loves me," he said with a smile.

"I know…" Shakti said, making him surprised.

"How?" he asked.

"A human would have seven lives. And they have a fixed soul mate. You have one too… but in your past six lives, you failed to get her love in all these lives. If not for this life, you would never get her back. But… again…" she stopped her words, making him frown.

"Sis, but?" he asked her.

"Clean the room and get me something to eat," she said as she looked around.

Cyrus sighed as he looked at her. If she says something one should do that. If not she will make them do it. She was the kind of person who makes the tiger do yoga.

He snapped his fingers, in a couple of minutes the room went back to its old state. He went down and served some snacks by himself and brought them to her.

There were biscuits and desserts on it along with some fruits. This shows the lack of basic sense of Cyrus.  If not… the world would get desserts, biscuits, and fruits together.

Shakti shook her head at his stupidity. But she knew what she wanted to eat.

"Brat… Who in the world serves a guest like this?" she berated.

"Sis… you are not a guest but my sister," he said, scratching his head.

Why does he look adorable? Aww… She signaled him to come forward. Cyrus went near her and leaned to her. Shakti ruffled his head and pinched his cheeks.

"It's fine since I am a family. But… when guests come to your house serve either desserts or fruits. Not all, okay?" she said.

"Okay.." He nodded obediently.

"What do you want to eat, sis?" he asked.

Shakti rubbed her hands together as if they got to an interesting segment. "I heard there is a thing called instant noodles. I want that. And I need potato chips, popcorn, soft drinks, french fries, chicken drumstick, lamb skewers, and…" The list went on.

What the fuck!?

"Sis! Are you here for me or food?" Cyrus asked as he widened his eyes in shock.

"Bhairav… Will you get hurt if I say I am here for food?" she asked, blinking her lashes innocently as if she didn't stab a knife in his heart.

"SIS!!" he almost roared at her.

"First down your voice in front of me. Second… your tired wife is sleeping," she said, making him shut up.

"Sorry…" he said.

"Where are the titles?" she said like a mother berating her son.

"Sorry, Sister," he mumbled.

"Remember, no matter how rude a person is… you can't yell at him at least by mistake. Even if it is your son or your wife. Talk gently," she said seriously, making him nod his head.

"I will keep it in mind," he said.

"So…" she continued, making him give a confused look to her.

"Get the food for me," she said to him, shaking her head.

"I will have to order it, Sis. It would take half an hour to one hour time by the time it reached here," he said.

"Whatever… My smelly master permitted me to spend six hours in this realm," she said with a sigh.

"Sis, you are listening to the Clan Master? I guess it's the other way around," Cyrus said with a shock.

"Bhairav! People would think, I am bullying him! How could you say that!" She said with a what-are-you-talking expression.

"But… Sis… you are a person with power and the Master is a bit lenient on you. Don't act innocent here," he said as he rolled his eyes at her.

"Looks like… it has been a while since you spared a few blows with me," she said as she squinted her eyes at him.

"Sis… Imma order food for ya," Cyrus said and ran away.

Shakti chuckled at his actions. He was still childish. She wondered if he could take whatever she says now.

Due to her process and methods, his heart is unlocked. And his soul energy was improved by twenty percent. But… it doesn't mean he wouldn't feel hurt. She just hoped he would be strong. If not… he wasn't fit to be a king. She would take his son and train him to be the future king.
