Chapter 248 - A Puzzle

Ch-247

Cyrus carried Esther to their room and laid her on the bed. And looked at her innocent face. She was back with a bang stronger and fiercer than before. But why was her name changed to Aadhira? She just reincarnated, shouldn't she be called with the same name?

"Aish… Didn't expect her to do this, right?" his sister's voice sounded.

"Sis? Didn't you leave?" he asked surprised.

"I am leaving, but stopped when I noticed the abnormal sky," she replied.

"Sis… she is calling herself as Aadhira, the reincarnation of Raudra Muki," he asked her.

"Hmm… Raudra Muki and Esther's horoscope is the same. It's just that Raudra Muki was born at the inauspicious time of the day, While Esther was born after the inauspicious time ended. Raudra Muki meant to be dead. That's the reason, her life is always in danger. While… now… no one knew whether Aadhira meant to live or die. Only time says," Shakti said.

"Sis… Is there a way where I can know more about her and everything? I don't surprised anymore. In two more years, the moment of nine planets would change. This would affect all the realms, mainly the earth realm. The dark energies would take that as their advantage and would go berserk. They would try to trespass into the different realms. Mainly the fourteenth realm, which is the house for beasts and evil spirits. I don't want to take risks." Cyrus said.

"I have answers for all your worries. But you are a king. Know things like a king. You found your soulmate. When you both return, I will no longer be a queen." Shakti said.

Cyrus looked at her with a disappointed face. "Remember how you lost your wife two centuries ago. You are hiding under my wings. And you even brought under my wings, I can't shield you or both all the time. Maybe… it's time to let the earth realm know that their protectors are here," Shakti said.

"Sis… You mean to do that?" Cyrus asked.

"I am not saying anything. Do as you seem to fit. And once a king is always a king. People should know who you are and who you are. Sometimes reminding them of their places is not a bad thing.

"Your wife… I did that just now. She reminded her enemies who she is," Shakti said with a sigh.

Cyrus nodded. He wondered why he was acting dumb in front of her sister. Generally, he was called smart.

"Because… when you see your supporting shoulder, a person tends to turn stupid," she replied.

"I can hear you, idiot," she said, ruffling his hair.

"Just because you saw your support doesn't mean… you can be relaxed. You have to be alert. The most trusted person would betray you, the support you thought to be strong may be the weakest support you got." She added like a mother teaching her son.

"You are already this old, I still have to tell you these things," she added.

"Sis…" he called out.

"Hmm?" she responded. There was complete silence in the room. She stared at Cyrus's face searching for his thoughts. His brain is a mess. He doesn't know what to ask her, but he knows he has a lot of things to be asked.

"Will these things end?" he asked in the end.

Shakti laughed at him. "This would be my last visit here. Take care of yourself and her," she said and vanished into thin air.

Cyrus sighed. Maybe it's time to uncover everything. The reason behind her special birth, her death, his son, and the mysteries involving her.

"You are a puzzle, my wife," Cyrus said as he walked towards her and settled himself beside her.

He stroked her hair lovingly as he gazed at her. He placed a kiss on her forehead. "No matter who you are, I will be with you," he said to her. He knew she couldn't hear him. But he just wanted to say it to her.

Esther held his hand and hugged it to her chest, turning to his side. Cyrus took his hand from her and settled himself beside her and snuggled closer to her. Esther, finding the warmth enveloping around her snuggled closer to him. With a smile, he wrapped his arms around her. But the words of his sister rang in his ears. He learned many things today.

Traces of that man's soul in her body and Reggie's body. Only Esther can take that man down. She has to cultivate. Only the present king can train her. Rana should be sent back and should be trained to be king. If… he becomes a king, then there would be no pressure on Esther. He can marry her and she will become his Queen. If not she would become the queen of Kshatra. They both would be torn between two kingdoms.  And again… he got to know, Raudra Muki meant to die. As for Esther or let's say Aadhira, he doesn't know whether her life was at threat or not. But… no matter what… he would neither let her die nor he would lose her.

There were a lot of things which were meant to be uncovered. The reincarnation, that man, her birth… and many things need to be uncovered. He doesn't know where he should start. This woman was a one-lakh piece puzzle. He should start from the first piece.

But finding the first piece was the hardest thing. Her first piece was her birth. But there was something even before the first piece. That was her birth. His mother-in-law's pregnancy.  There were three other females in their clan but only Raudra Muki was selected as their heir.

And unlike her sisters, only she didn't get married and she almost attained immortality. But there was someone who got to know the secrets of her birth and death. So… the reason for her death was her birth. Her special birth. Even she doesn't know these secrets. There were only three people who could answer this question. That was her mother, father, and herself. Her mother died the moment she gave birth to her. Her father was a tough nut to crack. Esther needs to find it herself.
