Ch-286
"Okay… Now… I have to work. Go play by yourselves," Cyrus said after some time, feeling relaxed.
Esther and Reggie got up from their place and were about to leave the room.
"I guess…. Henry would be feeling lonely. Why don't you guys go out with him today?" Cyrus suggested.
He wasn't jealous because he was her brother, but because he felt pity over that guy.
"Really?" Esther asked immediately.
"Yes…" he nodded.
A big smile formed on her face, without caring about the presence of Reggie… Esther dashed into his arms and gave a big smooch on his lips making him smile at her actions.
"Thank you," she said after her breathtaking kiss. Reggie… who saw this scene… decided to leave the room. Closing his eyes he turned towards the door and walked ahead. But he didn't see the rug under his legs was uneven, when he stepped on it, he stumbled and hit the door frame with a bang.
"Ouch… it hurts…," he cried in surprise. Esther just said thankyou, but this little guy was crying here.
"Babe…" Esther got up and ran towards Reggie, worrying that he was injured.
She went near him and kneeled in front of him, as she examined his wound. "Older than your mother,... but don't even know how to walk," Cyrus commented getting up from his seat.
Even though Cyrus said that he felt worried. He walked forward and crouched beside Esther, to have a look on Reggie's face. A small red bump formed on it.
"Open your eyes and walk next time," Cyrus growled.
"I have to close my eyes. You both are kissing, as a kid, I should not see them. I closed my eyes and wanted to go out. But I forgot that this isn't our home and hit the door," with a pout on his lips.
Esther suddenly kept her hand on his forehead, a red ray of light glowed on his forehead for a fraction of seconds and dimmed. After removing her hand from his forehead, she checked his forehead. There was no bump and it's fine. She heaved a small sigh of relief seeing it.
"You could remember these spells?!" Cyrus asked in surprise.
"What!?" Esther was struck dumb.
"You remember the spells," he said.
Her brown eyes turned wide as she looked at him. "I don't know from the time, I recited all kinds of spells on my parent's bodies… I could remember them," Esther replied, blinking her eyes.
Cyrus just nodded his head at her… seemingly thinking about something.
Esther said nothing. "Mommy is awesome," Reggie exclaimed, seeming to be excited at his super-mom.
"My son is awesome too. He didn't cry when he got hurt," she said, hugging.
"Let's go out," Esther said, dragging him.
"Where are we going?" Reggie asked.
"Where do you want to go?" Esther asked.
"Mall!" he exclaimed.
"Sure… Let's go with uncle," Esther said and the little Reggie nodded his head obediently.
"Let's go to his room first and ask him if he is going to come or not," Esther said, before leaving Cyrus's sight completely.
Cyrus smiled at their little childish conversation. But deep down… his heart was thudding against his chest. The signs started showing up.
Was this a call for destruction?

Meanwhile…
"Brother! I said black!" Esther pouted as she pointed at the black shirt in his right hand.
"Mom… black or white what's the difference? Both are clothes to cover the body, right?" The clueless little Reggie finally said out his frustrations, making the biggest blunder in his life.
"Reggie… Do you know what black means? It's the purest color in this world! And it means peace and complete peace," Esther said. Startling Reggie. He blinked at the sudden outburst of his mother.
"Do you know what black is!?" She started her half an hour-long lecture.
For the first time in his life, Reggie felt that… his father was the right man to handle her.
He couldn't handle her. Man… this was too much to him. Seriously… this black color. Man….he wanted to bang his little head to the wall and die at that moment. Thousands of little chicks cooed in his ears, making him go crazy.
"MOM!!!" he yelled, grabbing Esther's attention.
"Yes, Baby," Esther asked rather stunned.
"Mom… Reggie is truly sorry for not knowing the greatness of the black color. And He is grateful to mommy, for letting him the greatness of the black color. I thought you like white, as you said that you like white once…" Reggie said, with a face full of enlightenment and the regret of offending her.
Henry, who was watching everything from the side, stifled a laugh seeing his position. He wanted to laugh out loud but felt this would be something he would regret. So... he kept his mouth shut. Now.. seeing Reggie's situation Henry understood one thing. He felt he found something big. But it's too late… if only he found this early then he would have played with this little fellow all this while. But sigh… he found it a little late.
"That… I don't like white… It's just that white suits me better. But my favorite is black though. It's just no one knew it," Esther said, heaving a sad sigh.
"Oh…" Reggie said with a thoughtful expression.
"Bro… wear a black shirt for me and come out. Let's go out." Esther said.
"Where do you want to go?" he asked.
"Reggie wanted to go to a mall. But… I am thinking we can go to other places too," Esther said.
"Reggie… come here," Henry said.
Reggie didn't dare act rashly with his uncle in front of his mom.
He picked the little man into his arms and stretched his hand. He said "Friends?"
Reggie was in deep thought now.
[This man leaves after today. And it would not be a problem for me to be his friend for a day. And if he didn't mess with me it would be good, if he does… I will just make him feel sorry. Reggie… you gotta do this. And he loves momma a lot and cares for her. And momma loves him. And apart from being annoying… he is good. Sigh… Reggie is a generous man. Do friendship with him.]
"Okay… I will do," he said and shook his hands.
"Where do you want to go?" Henry asked.
"Mall!" he said excitedly.
"I guess you went there many times. Do you want to go somewhere special with your uncle?" Henry asked.
Reggie thought for a while.
"That depends," he answered after a little amount of thinking time.
"Have you ever gone to a PlayStation?" Henry asked.
Reggie only focused on the PlayStation. He wondered what it meant. His eyes held curiosity. And he felt like… he would miss something if he didn't go there.
"What will we do there?" he asked as his interest piqued.
"There… There will be a lot of games. We can play whatever we want," Henry said. This was what Reggie wants! Man! This was a big booster to him!!
Even though he was old… he was still a kid. And everything about playing would improve his mood. And that's the best way to coax him. Henry smiled in content when he realized he won.
"Do you want to come with me there?" Henry asked.
Reggie nodded his head furiously. Henry changed his dress and went ahead with them. After reaching the PlayStation, Reggie was the most excited person. All are video games. Henry and Reggie played a lot for a long time. Henry guided him on how to play and how they should play. He didn't choose tough games for Reggie, but rather few easy games for him.
On the other side, Esther was bored to death. She yawned like a lazy cat every few minutes and looked at them with her beady eyes. She wondered how a human species would be attracted to this kind. Esther felt like she was going to sleep the next moment. She almost fell, but she composed herself.
Even though she hated those flimsy games. She liked it when they both were enjoying it. She smiled in contentment. Esther could feel the harmonious environment around them. As she felt they were about to move, she saw the newly budding relations in between them. She hoped they would be like this wherever and whenever.
"Let's go and fill our empty stomachs," Esther said, pulling them out of the world. "Mom… Stop, we have something important to play!" But what was it? Esther wondered what he was going to play.
Reggie fell silent. He continued to play with Henry. They shared a look at each other before turning towards their games equipment. Reggie lost two games in a row very badly. He looked sad. Henry, who sat beside him, noticed everything. He smiled at his nephew's condition. Reggie started to win games one by one in a row. And as expected. Reggie won most of the games… while as expected Henry lost all games against Reggie... Reggie's face bloomed with a smile, as he puffed his chest proudly as if he wanted to show he was great. He looked at both of them for praise.
"Babe is great!" Esther praised.
"Yes, Yes, Reggie is the besto!" Henry also praised.
Reggie smiled with content hearing their praises.
