“Dad, you’re not feeling well. Do you want to call the doctor over?”

Lu Han stood far away beside the hospital bed. He asked in a slightly cold voice, but did not make any unnecessary movements.

Old master Lu noticed that Lu Han’s attitude had already exceeded his control, so he suddenly sat up with a changed expression. “What do you want to do?” Lu Han took a deep breath. “Lu Wei embezzled the company’s funds but I won’t pursue the matter any further. I will also inform the enterprise to destroy the relevant information and accounts.”

“But don’t talk about the transfer of the shares anymore. In the future, Lu Wei has no right to handle or interfere with any of the enterprise’s affairs. Otherwise, I will handle it according to the enterprise’s procedures and won’t tolerate anyone violating our company’s interests.”

Lu Qi looked at Lu Han in surprise. She had thought that her father would still vaguely brush things off.

It seemed that the various things that had happened today had changed his mindset. This was a good development.

In the parking lot outside the hospital, Lu Han sat in the back seat gloomily. Lu Qi, who was sitting in the passenger seat, peeked at him and sighed softly.

In the police station in the city center, Lu Nuannuan stayed in a separate detention room. She leaned against the fence and shouted anxiously, “I want a lawyer! Let me talk to my family… I want to go home!”

The police officer sent Lu Nuannuan’s things to the Lu family’s villa by express delivery. The maid opened the envelope and was so scared that her hands lost their strength.

The threatening words written by Lu Nuannuan with the eyebrow pencil she always carried with her fell out of the envelope.

The maid’s face was pale, but she had no choice but to go to the police station.

The director heaved a sigh of relief as he took the documents and went through the release procedures.
