Chapter 5 - Nightmare

After exploring the shops, I quickly moved to the ȧssembling area. There is large crowd gathering there. I see many males carrying heavy swords ,spears and shields while females are carrying bows and light equipment. I reached the ȧssembling area on time. There is still one minute left. I am getting bored. Suddenly, the man at my side strike up the conversation. He have a strong build and brown complexion. He have subble beard and sharp nose. He look mannly and pleasing to eye. " Hey!! How are you''

" Hello, I am fine. How are you ??"

" I am fine. So did you buy anything.''

'' Yes. I bought potions. What about you??''

" I also bought potions. By the way my name is Jack.''

" My name is Leo.'

" Leo where are you from??, I am from Korea.''

" I am from America. You are quite fluent in English ."

" What??, I am speaking Korean not English.''

I am amazed. I can understand and speak in my language while he is speaking in another language. This shocked me as system translated what he is and I am saying in respective language so we can communicate This is just amazing. This allows us to communicate with people speaking different language which may remove any misunderstanding arise due to miscommunication.

Hearing this, twenty people who refused to come become scared. They start running towards the area in hope of saving their life but three people still adamantly refuse to listen. The prayers of running people were answered, they managed to save their life by reaching the area in last second. Seeing this, giant merely glanced at them. He move towards the people who refused to listen his order. He grabbed two males by head and dragged them towards the area. The both man are struggling but they cannot free themselves from his steel grip. Seeing their struggling attempts to free themselves from his grasp ending in failure, they start losing any hope of survival. He throw them on ground and take out his spear.

Two thunder like swings of spear and the two heads are thrown up in air and blood fountains start flowing retlessly.

"Thud …Thud"

The two heads dropped to ground.

eh?? What the hell just happened?? I cannot believe my eyes. Two people died in front of me. The scene of two heads falling down on ground keep repeating me. Cold sweat formed at my back. For the very first time I face the cruel reality of Ancient Battlefield. The giant in front of no longer look like a giant. The thought that "He is a Blood thirsty Demon" appeared in my mind.

The giant vanished. Sound of body crashing on ground and blood curdling screams of female diverted me from my thoughts. The Demon strike again.

''Thud … " One more head have fallen on ground which signifying that one more life have been forced to eternal sleep. Silence pervaded in area. Three headless bodies lying in pool of blood and heads with eyes open, pleading of life and remorse are the examples of the cruel situation in which I am. Many people including male and females start trembling and close their eyes. But I forced my eyes open and burned this nightmare in my memory. I will by lying dead like this if I don't become stronger. This is the dog eat dog world. The law of jungle, ''Survival of fittest'' is followed here. The power is only law while weakness is only sin.
