"Darling husband how is your new body? Do you feel comfortable?"

"..."

It really feels strange. This body feels very different from what it felt like when I was alive.

"Am I dead or alive?"

"What are you talking about my silly husband. Father brought you back to life and even made a new physical body for you giving you an amazing opportunity of a lifetime. Even reaching the peak of the world would be possible with this new body of yours!"

"He can actually bring the dead back to life that easily?"

"It's not easy at all you know. Even as the mightiest god, he can only interfere in matters of life and death once every million years. Although he is the one who created the laws that govern all realms, only he has the privilege of interfering in matters of life and death. Although he is the one that created the laws that mandates over the realms, if he breaks those laws, even he would not stand a chance."

"The reason he made such laws governing life and death was; if you were to kill a powerful enemy, wouldn't it be ridiculous if any random god had the ability to revive your enemy with no effort? Just split their spiritual body in half, have the revived one go out and battle while the other half of the spiritual body hides away. If the other half dies, just repeat the process. You would then be in a situation where you would fight the same enemy time and time again and regardless of how many times you killed them they would keep reviving."

"Also, if he were the only one that could interfere with life and death freely, would he not incur the wrath of every other god in existence? He might not lose, but it definitely would annoy him to death. He might be the strongest god; however, that does not mean that those connected to him would be guaranteed safety. Therefore, he can only interfere in such a limited way."

"Okay my wife, I understand you want to brag about how awesome father in law is."

My little wife pouted as it seemed she was unsatisfied with my reaction.

"Your little wife did her best to bring you back to life you know. I even had to use some of the dirt I had on daddy to get him to bring you back to life."

"Yes, I get it, my little wife is the best wife any man could wish for."

She then said with a satisfied expression "Good, as long as you understand that my darling husband."

"Husband I just realized, we married but don't even know your name."

"Ah, but I never mentioned my name either. Getting married, but not even knowing your spouse's name; how embarrassing. You might have noticed my father mention it but my first name is Megami. My last name follows after my mother's, Gyoko. Megami Gyoko."

"Sanji Shika."

"So I suppose my name will be Megami Gyoko Shika from now on?"

"I'd rather just call you wifey or my little wife."

"Then let's just stick with how we've been addressing each other."

"Darling husband now that you are alive again and you have a physical body of the highest grade, you won't be able to live as a mere mortal like you had previously. You must definitely raise your strength to become a top power to protect his little wife of yours."

My little wife seems really enthusiastic about me raising my strength but my excitement towards the thought of strength is rather lacking. I just want to live a simple lazy life.

If I could just depend on my wife and father in law for everything, wouldn't that just be great? Sure becoming more powerful may be awesome and super cool to children, but what if I lose my poor little life once again in some great danger? Do I look like a twelve year old who would scream with a righteous air, I will become strong enough to protect little wife and father in law even in death? Father in law is already the strongest god, why would I bother with pointless things like that? If I did die, who will revive me then? Do I have to wait another million years to revive once again?

Interrupting my train of thoughts, little wife continues with her speech about acquiring strength. "The world you came from was very weak you know. The strongest person from your world was only an 8th realm mortal."

"To you that may seem very strong but there are many tiers above the mortal realm. In your world 10th realm mortals were considered a mere legend and they were thought to be the pinnacle of power that only existed in rare far off worlds."

"However reality is much different, above mortal there are 9 more known tiers of strength. From weakest to strongest there is; mortal, semi-transcendent, transcendent, saint, demi god, lower god, middle god, upper god, true god, and realm god. The first eight tiers are divided into 10 realms in each. True gods are divided between one through five stars. The stars for true gods denote how many star systems they control in a single realm. A one star true god controls at least one star system. At two stars, a true god controls ten while each additional star controls ten times the previous as a minimum in each given cultivation realm. Realm gods are divided into three categories; lower, middle, and upper. Since the scale is so vast, you won't understand even if I explained the divisions between realm gods right now."

"Presently there are known to be 500 lower realm gods and 20 middle realm gods in existence. Father is the only upper realm god at the moment and he has governed over the realms for an uncountable trillions of years."

"Just for the record, I'm a lower realm god while my mother is the middle realm god, Ai Gyoko. She is known as the goddess of love and fortune. She married my father, the war god, Sen Kami, one trillion years before father ascended to become the first upper realm god. Also please don't misunderstand, I'm not that old okay? I'm only two billion years old! In fact, I am the youngest person to ever reach the level of lower realm god! I'm still in my prime for marriage! Having children is definitely not a problem!"

"Don't worry my little wife, I'm attracted to women who are older than me."

My little wife sighed in relief as if she were relieved of a heavy burden in her heart.

"Little wife, earlier you mentioned our honeymoon, right?"

"Yes that's right! The whole reason I was perusing mortal realms was to help father find a disciple. But while roaming about mortal realms I accidentally stumbled upon you."

"So goddesses sneeze as well?" I said this somewhat absentmindedly.

She then explained with a strange expression "that's the thing, the moment I stepped into that realm I was blinded by the light of fortune that illuminated the entire world. It was the first time I had ever seen such strong levels of fortune. At the time, I just happened to be behind you as I stepped into your world. I was caught off guard by the unexpected levels of fortune. Due to the abundance of excessive fortune illuminating the world I accidentally let out a sneeze. In my flustered state, you turned around while my concealment was rendered ineffective as I momentarily lost my concentration whereupon you laid eyes upon me. At that point you just stood there with a stupid blank stunned look on your face. I waved my hand in front of your eyes a few times but you didn't react at all. I checked your breathing and realized you had stopped breathing altogether."

"I was really flustered at that point and after ten minutes of trying to get you to breathe you passed on as your spiritual body left your physical body. That was the point in which you died. I could only cry to myself questioning mortals were so weak willed at times yet unbelievably headstrong at other times? If I let things continue as it was, your spiritual body would have simply entered the cycle of reincarnation. I felt somewhat guilty when I thought about how your life would have ended because of an accidental sneeze so I grabbed your unconscious spiritual body as it was entering the cycle of reincarnation and brought you to my father."

"I begged him to save you after explaining the story to him, but he continually refused. I told him that I would commit suicide if we did not compensate you properly. He decided to compromise and said we would give you three options to choose from as compensation. Then he shamelessly went back on his words. He said he would come up with two and I could offer the last choice. I told him my offer would be marriage. After hearing that, he tossed me out of the room before he told me what the two choices he would offer you were."

"Then, rather than offering you anything of value, he shamelessly said he'd either wipe you out of existence or let you reincarnate like you would have anyways. What is with those shameless options? Really? Worse yet, he didn't even mention the third option and when he finally did he changed it completely. It's a good thing I knew what you would want based upon your reaction when you first saw me. At first I thought it would be a cheap compensation as a mortal can only live so long. But then I thought about it again and realized my damn father will never let me get married if I don't take matters into my own hands. Really two billion years being single you know! I want a husband! All those damn weak willed flies would always be shooed away by father and for those who managed to escape his eyes, they would mysteriously disappear unbeknownst to me. I get lonely too you know!"

I chose to change the topic as it seemed to be landmine for my little wife. "Hahaha my little wife, you said you wanted children from your husband earlier, so what do you want to call them?"

"Eh? Ah? Children already? But we only just met you know, shouldn't we get to know each other for a few million years first?"

"My darling wife, I'm a mortal you know. Do you expect me to live millions of years?"

"You said you wanted me to belong to you, to be your wife, and to be with you till the ends of time. Was that a lie?"

I could only open my eyes wide as I realized the greatest blunder of my life. Does this mean unless I became some almighty god, I'll forever remain a virgin?

"Darling husband I am a woman and you are a man. Shouldn't the husband be able to protect his wife and child? Therefore, until you are my equal in power I suppose we will have to put matters of having a child on hold."

"Darling wife, you cannot be saying that our night life will forever be without passion?"

My little wife looked at me with a strange and confused expression "all I said was the matter of having a child will need to be put on hold. Did I ever say anything about our nightlife?"

Realizing what my wife had meant I could only praise "my lovely wife is the best. Thinking about the future and what is best for me. I couldn't possibly have a better wife."

A suggestive, mischievous yet enchanting smile like that of a foxy seductress grew on my little wife's face as she invited me with her eyes.

If only I were stronger, perhaps I could push down this beautiful wife of mine at this very moment. I can only curse my lacking abilities; maybe increasing my strength would not be so bad after all. If it meant I could push her down at the drop of a hat wouldn't that be a wonderful thing? But then again, father in law is still nearby; perhaps he is even watching in on this act at this very moment just waiting for me to try pushing things too far. Even if my little wife were to consent at this very moment I may forfeit my life if I take things too far before this great father in law of mine.
