Jess sat down on her dressing table and did her skincare. She was wearing a silk kimono robe, her hair was wrapped in a white towel and she just finished the longest and most satisfying shower she had ever taken in her entire life. She had no idea that she could be an exhibitionist. That she would get satisfaction from being watched.

She blushed and sighed. The shame and the thrill of touching herself while Noah watched her was something she never thought she ever needed in her life. She felt warm all over her body again. She bit her lower lip as the memory of running her fingers over her wet skin, touching her body and imagining it was Noah's hands that were caressing her, coaxing her to open up to fly and reach a bursting neon color sky as she screamed his name under the cascading water while her fingers were buried deep inside her.

Jess pressed her thighs together. She had an orgasm playing with herself in the shower but it wasn't enough. The call with Noah has been long over because he has to go to drop Lucille off at her school before he goes to work, and yet, here she is—she still couldn't stop thinking about it.

She unwrapped the towel from her hair and blew dry her hair. The whirring of the hairdryer somehow stopped her lust-filled mind from imagining what could have happened if Noah was with her in the shower.

She stopped drying her hair when she heard her phone chirped. Pulling the plug of the hairdryer, she stood up and climbed on her bed. She checked her phone and saw a message from Ellise. She was updating her with her security personnel. She agreed to the added security that Ellise imposed that she must have in exchange for getting a report from them.

She wanted to know what was happening around her. She's tired of being left out in the dark. She opened an encrypted email and saw that the report was basically the same. There's nothing out of the ordinary around her.

She blew an air of frustration. She now understood Ellise's frustration and how she would wish that those people who were threatening her life would do a move. Because staring at the same report every day, she felt an itch that she couldn't scratch. She wanted things to move, something to happen because if there's nothing happening, she felt like she's living in a limbo. As if she is standing on a ledge and she is waiting for someone to approach her. Because she knew that whoever approached her would be the one that would push her off that ledge.

The problem with what is happening right now is that she has been standing on the ledge for so long and no one is approaching her. She slowly wonders if they are just overthinking about the whole thing.

She told Ellise about it and she got mad, telling her that's exactly what happened last time. They were tricked to think that the threat to her life no longer existed and when they dropped their defense, they got to her and it almost cost her life. She shuddered with the thought of what could have happened if it wasn't for Ellise.

Now, Ellise and Noah promised not to make the same mistakes.

She closed the encrypted email and put her phone on her nightstand. She doesn't want to think of bad guys tonight. She just wanted to finish her internship, graduate, and continue her studies. She wanted to do her master's study. She was hoping that with her internship in ANAT in her resume, she could find a sponsor for the study she wanted to do.

She pulled another pillow and added it to her pillow, making her head elevated higher. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

"Daddy, what did you say to Little Miss Jessie that you have to hide inside your bedroom?"

Lucille stood up from the backseat and leaned forward. She has been asking him why he had to hide inside his office. She was unhappy with the fact that she shared what she and Little Miss Jessie talked about while he hid and didn't share with her.

He shook his head and looked at his daughter who leaned back on the backseat after Soraya pulled her elbow to make her sit down. How in the world is he going to share with his daughter the reason why he had to hide inside his study while he was on a call with Jess.

He smirked, thinking how Jess looked glorious while taking a damn shower. He shifted on his seat because he could feel his member woke up with excitement from the memory of watching Jess take a shower, playing with herself, and calling his name.

He wondered how angry Jess would be if he would fly to Mumbai on the weekend to see her. If Lucille is with him, for sure she won't be too angry. But then, he has a lot of work and if he would fly to see her with Lucille, it would be close to impossible to have Jess all to himself.

He sighed. He had no choice but to wait for Jess to finish her internship and come home. He couldn't wait for them to be neighbors again—where he can use his passcode to her apartment anytime he wants.

"Daddy, you're so mean! I will tell Little Miss Jessie--" Lucille continued to grumble at the backseat of the SUV until they arrived at her new school.

"Have a good day, darling!" He called after her but she just got out of the car without a glance. She is still angry at him for monopolizing Little Miss Jessie all to himself.

He didn't start the car until Lucille and Soraya entered the school gate. Jin and one of his men were watching outside the school.

He pulled out of the curb when he no longer saw Lucille and quickly dialed Jess's number, hoping that she's still awake and would answer his call.
