"The bathroom in the suite was quite big if you don't want to do it in bed at this time of the day," he whispered in her ear over the loud sound of another Ghibli film that Lucille chose ahead for them to watch during the flight back home.

When Jess handed him her passport and asked her to be included in the list of passengers in his private plane going back to the states, he was surprised beyond words. He was dreaming of taking Jess in his private plane ever since San Lucas.

And now that she's here, Lucille declared that all of them should watch the film. He can't blame her since he only allowed her to watch more than what she was allowed to watch on a long-haul flight.

Reading books and answering workbooks can be boring and not something a child should do for fun. Hence, movie marathons became Lucille's way of passing time.

Jess scooted and snaked her arms around Noah's waist, she tilted her head and whispered back. "How can you think of such a thing with your daughter right there?" She nodded in the direction of Lucille who had her eyes glued on the television screen as if she hadn't seen the film Tokyo Godfathers for the nth time.

"Do you like the movie?" He asked.

"Yes. I think it's a masterpiece." She spoke in a hushed tone because Lucille threw them a reprimanding look for they were being noisy.

"Sweetheart, Little Miss Jessie is being noisy. Should I send her to bed?" He asked his daughter in a deadpan voice.

Jin snorted and Jess blushed. When she got her bearings back, she elbowed Noah who just laughed merrily. The audacity of Noah to think of taking her away to bed, lying through the skin of his teeth to her daughter just because of his lust! The nerves of this perverted bastard!

Lucille put the movie on pause and turned to her father. She has her perfectly shaped eyebrow crooked with curiosity. "Don't you like the movie, Miss Jessie?"

Her face heats up when she hears Lucille's question and how she just called her Miss Jessie, instead of the usual Little Miss Jessie. She was so annoyed at Noah for putting her in an awkward situation with his daughter.

"No, sweetheart, I like the movie." She said, forcing a smile on her face.

Lucille turned her head to her father and in a tone full of disappointment she said, "you just want to monopolize her attention." She pursed her lips and turned her head back to the television screen and hit play.

"Look what you've done!" She threw Noah's arm off her shoulder and moved to a chair away from him.

Noah was left scratching his neck, shifting his eyes to his girls both annoyed at him. The two had their arms crossed over their chest and were not looking at him. He tried to poke Jess's side but she swatted his hand with the throw pillow she had on her lap.

When he bent forward to apologize to Lucille, she said, "if you don't like to spend time with me watching a movie and want to work instead, feel free to do so," she said in a tone that made Noah halt.

When did his little girl learn to use a tone that could make any man falter in his knees? "I'm sorry, sweetheart. Daddy is at fault and won't be noisy anymore." He ruffled her hair and leaned back to his chair and kept quiet for the duration of the movie.

The movie finished without any more issues because kept his hands to himself and shut his mouth. After, Lucille and Jess discussed the movie, deliberately not including him in their discussion as if he wasn't there.

He shook his head inwardly for he saw a clear future where the two would do the same thing. They would stand next to each other and be against him and Noah couldn't help but grin and look forward to the future that he was imagining in his head.

He cleared his throat repeatedly to catch the attention of the two but it's hard to get the attention of someone that was consciously ignoring you. He sighed loudly and stood up from his chair. "I got it. I am no longer needed. Call me if the plane is on fire." He walked in the direction of the plane suite and he took slow steps to give them time to stop him but none of his girls did. He sighed disappointedly.

Just at the door closed behind Noah, Jess and Lucille exchange glances and giggles. "That should serve him. You shouldn't let him get his way all the time, aunt Jess. You are spoiling him!" She reprimanded her in a way that made Jess laugh. She sounded like an adult. She won't be surprised if Lucille heard the words she just said to her from one of her parents.

But what truly astonished Jess was not how Lucille acted like an adult that was giving her a scolding but the name that she just called her. Lucille just called her aunt Jessie and her heart squeezed in her chest. She wanted to pull her inside her arms and give her the tightest hug but she didn't want to overreact and scare her.

Aunt Jessie. Jess remembered when she was young and she would call her mother's friend aunt Joy. The woman that wasn't her blood but stood as her mother and her best confidant. Filling the void that her mother's death left. And she felt her eyes stung, keeping the tears from falling.

Her arms moved on their own and pulled Lucille into an embrace. "Sorry, sweetheart but I meant to spoil your father as much as I want to spoil you," she murmured against Lucille's hair.

The kid didn't hesitate even for a short moment to hug her back and pat her back. "I will watch one more movie. You may go to where my daddy is and you may spoil him."
