Chapter 341 - I Didn't Do Anything!

[This chapter is dedicated to LorenaMur for her continuous support of our story. Thanks a lot!]

After Noah finished the breakfast that she served in bed, Jess and Noah moved to the balcony for them to relax while waiting for Noah's flight as he begged her to stay with him until it was time for him to fly back to Berlin.

"How's Lucille? She must have been busy."

"Oh, she's doing fine. The advanced classes her mother enrolled her with were just two hours a day. She has plenty of time to play with her dog and my grandfather's dogs as well as the other animals in the farm." He said, embracing her tighter. "I'm so sad there. Lucille chose to stay with her Opa rather than with me. She basically chose the horses over me." He clicked his tongue but the tone of his voice couldn't hide the affection he has for his only child. "And then, I always miss you," he voice turned to a sexy drawl, nuzzling her neck.

She easily gets tickled whenever Noah kisses her neck, but right now, she simply pulled her shoulder up to hide her neck from Noah's kisses for her brain was all over the place. A nagging feeling was gnawing at the back of her head with the fact that Lucille wasn't so busy in Berlin, however, since she left, she never sent any messages, despite her sending tons of messages almost everyday.

"Baby."

"Hmm," she mumbled. Her thoughts were still with Lucille and didn't give much reaction to Noah's advances.

"Can you please give me all your attention right now?"

Feeling guilty, she raised her hand and cupped his right cheek. "I'm sorry, I was just–"

His mouth covered her before she could finish her sentence. She forgot what she was about to say the moment Noah delved his tongue inside the crevices of her mouth and teased her that made her squirm in his lap–for more. Yet, Noah pulled his mouth away from her that Jess was left hanging—literally—for she hooked her arms around his neck, clinging to him.

"Baby, what's your schedule for this week and the next?" He had to force himself to stop kissing her because he had to know her schedule because he wanted to make sure that what happened to her in the park would not be repeated.

"Why?" She creased her brows. As much as she understands Noah's need to keep her safe, she hates being watched. And the presence of Marie, staying with her, pretending not to exist when in fact, she breathed within the same room with her, almost drove her inside. Now that Noah is asking about her schedule, she worries that he was going to have Marie next to her at all times.

"I need you to have a routine for it to be easy for your shadow to follow you."

"Shouldn't I have an unpredictable routine because whoever was following me would have a hard time catching me off guard?"

"Yes. But then, not too unpredictable. The walk at the park in the middle of the day was so unexpected that your shadows were surprised and weren't able to react accordingly. You were alone for a few minutes because they weren't ready to follow you at the park without you noticing them."

Jess went quiet for a few minutes. She didn't know that it was the reason why those disgusting men were able to reach her and touch her while she was asleep. She shuddered when she recalled the image of those men, groping her that woke her up but she wasn't able to scream for one of the men–the one that was caught–shoved a white towel on her mouth. Remembering the white towel that was put inside her mouth in a quick precise motion, Jess glanced at Noah.

"I feel like they weren't really homeless…"

Noah felt Jess shuddered as she was sitting on his lap and his arms were around her. "Yes. Your security felt the same for they were having a hard time getting the information they wanted from the man that they caught." Noah informed Jess but he carefully chose his words for he didn't want her to know that Ellise's men were breaking the man apart–physically, mentaly, and emotionally but the bastard was good. He didn't spill anything…yet. For Ellise's men assured him that they would make sure to make the man talk and he's not doubting them.

"Don't worry about them anymore," he whispered, kissing her temple and rubbing her arms that were peppered with goosebumps. He tried to control the tone of his voice in order not to worry her, but deep inside, a murderous rage was bubbling. He wanted to kill those men and those who were behind what happened with his bare hands.

"I don't want to think about them. But I also don't want Marie and the others to be too close—"She sighed when she felt Noah's body twitched with disagreement. "I know that it was for my safety but I just can't live with bodyguards…baby." She added the endearment at the end of her sentence, in an attempt to have Noah's approval.

"Minx, don't try to sidetrack me with your cute words…" He bit her lobe between his teeth and playfully tugged it as her punishment for her underhanded tactics.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She giggled but didn't push Noah away with his attack, instead, she twisted her body, giving him more access to 'punish' her.

"You're being naughty, Miss Zimmerman," his mouth landed on her shoulder blade where he bit the thin strap of her dress, tugging it off her shoulder.

"Truly! I didn't do anything. And I promise not to do anything for the next two weeks!" She raised her open palm in the air, pledging for her words.. "I would just stay inside the lab for the next two weeks…" She moaned as Noah swirled his tongue on her shoulder blade, cupping the side of her breasts, massaging her mould and teasing her hardened peaks.
