Chapter 421 - Claiming the Crown

Name:Celestial Peak Author:Simple_Dynasty
"Conquering the World? What do you mean by those words, Grandmaster?"

"World Domination, why, do you have other ideas as to what Conquering the World refers to, dear Ylsa?"

Inside a round table, there were five people seated, Wang Ling, Ylsa, Irta, Yulis, and Chang Ping. Radel, the Captain of the Guards was dealing with other matters for the time being.

The room was silent, Ylsa was trying her best to wrap the idea around her head, Chang Ping silently sipped tea like nothing, Dratia and Irta were at a loss for words.

Wang Ling's announcement was simply too shocking for them to simply accept just like that.

Looking at them, Wang Ling could understand the worries they had within but, he simply smiled at them, "Why are you worrying so much? We already have the upper hand when it comes to the idea of conquering this world."

"But Grandmaster, the Tower," Ylsa interjected.

"Do not worry about the Towers, they will not be doing anything. I have contacts inside the Heaven Hell Sword Tower, he's an Elder and if I inform him, he will stop anyone from doing anything." Chang Ping said.

Ylsa looked at Chang Ping and couldn't find anything to say back. Seeing that no one was saying anything, Wang Ling clapped his hands, "The Sects wouldn't be doing anything against us, this World has no King to argue against us and if we use our momentum now, we'll be able to ride it to the top. If anyone objects, then we'll enlist those who joined us and teach them a lesson."

The talk continued for a while, but no one managed to argue anything against Wang Ling's d.e.s.i.r.e and without managing to think of a reason why they shouldn't do it, everyone decided that they would begin the Annexing of every Sect in the Three Remaining Regions of the World.

When the meeting ended, it was decided that a week from then they would announce this decision after informing the other powers.

Wang Ling had no problems handing the job to the Lopus Family.

He had something else to do. When he returned to the Abode, Wang Ling called for Alidia, "Alidia, do you think you can contact the Heaven Hell Sword Tower and get the list of Slave Trading going on in this World? I am going on a trip with my disciples in a month's time."

A month later.

Red Garden Region, Dark Swamp Valley, Spirit Mines.

"Master, why are you so fond of taking over the world?"

"Hmm? What could you mean? I have not the slightest idea what you are talking about."

"Didn't you try and take over the Celestial Spirit Realm with your Beast Companion in the past? Spreading your name and letting the Wang Family take over what remains, wasn't that why you were attacking the evil Sects?"

"…you knew that?"

Before, Wang Ling already tried World Domination with Bai Xue. He and the mischievous Fox did it to gather both resources for themselves and ensure to strengthen their future which was supposed to be the Ruling Wang Family.

In the end, of course, this ended with half success. When Wang Ling and Bai Xue were just about to gain Immortality and dominate the world, they got spit out by the Worldly Laws placed by the Original Creator.

Wang Ling was pretty sure no one knew what he was doing. If anything, only Butler Sun could have known, but that would be it. He didn't think that Chang Ping would know.

"Of course, I learned it after reading the book written by the Mother of Beast. This is also why the Towers prioritize killing Evil Organizations that take advantage of the World. We try to minimize the spread of possible conflict and gain the respect of the —"

"Wait, Xue wrote a book? I knew she liked using them to start a fire but never did I thought she'd be writing out herself."

"Yes… when the 3000 years treaty started, she stayed at the highest Peak of the Origin World, where even the God-Kings of the Primordial Races could not touch her. For days she grieved your death and immortalized your image to the Universe, she wrote a story of what you did and why it, and the Wang Family supported her decision. With time the survivors of the Celestial Spirit World spoke of your endeavors like how you freed slaves and the like and in time your actions became a beacon of light that guided many."

Wang Ling would never stop being amazed by how much he's treated like a Saint or a Hero despite his slaughters being written down in History. But what shocked him most was Bai Xue actually writing a book.

[I need to ask her about it once we meet.] Wang Ling wished for this to happen as quickly as possible. But for now, he must focus on conquering this World… which was going surprisingly smoothly.

Wang Ling smiled as he reminisced of the past. He rested his head on his knuckles then watched his students fight against the Slaves Traders of the Neighboring Regions.

Leo swung his knife, Vaki his sword, and the Rea and Ella their chains. These three were doing their best fighting against Slave Traders and free the youths and next to Wang Ling was Hela who had little interest in fighting cheering them on.

Wang Ling yawned watching them as they were taking too long, but he couldn't say anything against that simple fact as they were still young. He would even often need to flick a rock at them to ensure that they don't die.

[They managed to slightly manifest a weapon intent, though it is merely a sliver of it. They have the talent to succeed but they are still weak in terms of the heart… and Hela is interested in training in Alchemy. Being a Master is much more complicated than I thought.]

Other than managing the Sect, his plans, his own cultivation, and the world, then there were his students. They take a lot of time to groom but thanks to giving them lessons Wang Ling could see his ways of fighting in a different light.

They have learned his techniques, fought their own fights bravely, found their own paths, and now, they must begin forging their own paths, [This would also be for the best.]

Wang Ling made the decision. White Leo and the others fought their heart out to enforce justice upon those who do evil, their fates were being thought of by Wang Ling as he saw there with Chang Ping.

Three and a half hours' worth of being cut and beaten, the four of them finally managed to complete their mission of killing the Slave Traders, and Hela who had been staying by the wayside finally got the chance to do her own thing.

Leaving Wang Ling's and Chang Ping's side who were talking about something she could not understand, she delightfully went and assisted the children. She got ready to treat the Slaves and take care of them.

Hela had no interest in fighting and liked taking care of others. She was no fighter, but Wang Ling didn't stop her from pursuing her d.e.s.i.r.es, he too was an Alchemist and understood her d.e.s.i.r.e to help others… though they pursue his path differently than hers.

That night, Hela took care of everyone and Wang Ling let his disciples what they did wrong and what they should have done and as they were nodding and reviewing their fight Wang Ling smiled, "Everyone listen to me, I have something to say."

The time for goodbyes was inevitable.
