'Oof… Did I busted myself in front of her…?'

Wuxing kept smiling on the outside but inside he was panicking, not expecting Ash to suddenly go on offensive. He knew it definitely wasn't a coincidence.

'Did Ash actually figure out I'm Wuxing or was it a blind guess? How would she even consider that as a possibility?' He wondered, giving Ash sneak glances by the table as they ate dinner.

Although he reacted quickly and avoided eye contact with Ash, he still used almost the same reply that was a standard for him and Ash. Each time he returned from a mission, Ash would complained while hugging him, calling herself a little bunny and he got used to that nickname.

When Scarlet exposed it was a challenge made by Ash, he finally looked at her and saw her suspicious gaze. He figured he would have to tell her at some point as she could easily connect the dots, especially once she learned about his relationship with Dongmei back in the prison but he didn't think she would be so fast.

After all, without knowing the existence of abilities, his appearance change was quite illogical.

'Is she waiting for me to tell her myself? Why didn't she question me yet?' Wuxing pondered troubled when their gazes coincidentally met and he saw her smile playfully.

He didn't know what she planned but he quickly found out when Ash asked curiously, "Dongmei, how did you and Chameleon meet?"

'Damn… She definitely knows…' Wuxing cursed, guessing it would be impossible to hide their secret anymore.

Dongmei hated lying so she would find it hard to reply to her.

His guess got further confirmed when Ash continued, "I hope you don't mind but I checked your data as we walked here. You worked in the Devil's Den as a doctor, right?"

"Yes, it was peaceful there," Dongmei replied honestly, taking a sip of her tea. "I met Chameleon after I left from there."

"Interesting. So you left at the same time as Wuxing tried to escape from the prison," Ash pointed out. "Were you the one that helped him escape?"

Dongmei raised her eyebrow at the blunt question but she nodded, confirming, "Yes, not directly but he did use me during his escape. I was also there when he got caught and shot. He fell to the sea and we were not able to find his body since then."

Wuxing showed saddened expression but inside he was impressed at how well Dongmei was handling it.

"So you are saying that there is a chance he is still alive?" Ash asked with hope to which Dongmei agreed, "There is a high chance he is alive indeed. I met him and I know he is a person who never gives up. He got shot in the belly but we were not far from the shore. With some luck he could reach it and survive."

"I also think so," Ash nodded. "But there is one thing I don't fully understand."

She turned to Wuxing and asked, "Were does Chameleon come to the time line? I learned from Scarlet that she was working on that ship and how you helped helped her with her brother in the hospital. But there is one more thing I learned which is interesting."

Ash paused while watching his face expressions.

"While you were making a name for yourself in the Badu City, Dongmei wasn't there. If you two first met after she left the Devil's Den, it must have been right before the selection which would mean you two know each other for only two days. How come you are so close with each other as if you have been dating for months?" Ash concluded her investigation, leaning back on the bench.

Wuxing always knew that Ash's detective skills were great but he didn't think her scheming was just as good.

He tried to keep calm as he glanced at Scarlet and realized she was red, looking down embarrassed.

"So you accepted Scarlet as your student so you could get some information from her?" Wuxing questioned, stalling for time to figure out the plan of action.

If he didn't tell the truth now, Dongmei would look bad, giving herself up to him after just two days. He definitely didn't want that to happen.

"I accepted her because I like her. I just asked out of curiosity and learned about it by accident," Ash replied casually. "So? How did you two become sweethearts in just two days?"

Wuxing exchanged gazes with the girls, knowing it wasn't just his secret anymore. Katherine and Anna protected his new identity by lying to the Seven Stars about his death so if they didn't agree, he couldn't share this with Ash. This was the only thing that held him back this whole time.

"Can I share the secret with her?" Wuxing asked, turning serious.

"If you are sure she will keep quiet about it and won't expose us then I don't mind," Katherine replied, biting into her piece of meat as she looked at him. "I will blame you if anything happens."

"I will leave it to you," Anna agreed with a wink. "I trust you."

"What about you two?" Wuxing asked Dongmei and Scarlet who sat on both his sides.

"I'm sowwie… It's all my fault. I said too much…" Scarlet muttered guiltily, hugging into his arm. "I also don't mind if big sis knows…"

"It's alright. You didn't mean bad," Wuxing cheered her up.

She was too innocent to win against an old scheming fox like Ash.

"Dongmei?" Wuxing moved to the last and most important person in his life, squeezing her hand with care.

She returned the same, looking at him with an uncertain gaze before confessing to him out of nowhere.

"I love you. I hope you know that. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and that won't change no matter what happens. Remember that."

As she finished, she leaned over, holding onto his cheek and brought her words to life. She didn't seem to care about the small public they had and midway their kiss, he also stopped caring, showing his own love openly.

"I think I need to tell you that more often but I love you too," Wuxing expressed, staring at her from up close. "Thank you for following me."

"Of course… My future is tied with yours," Dongmei replied, leaning for another kiss when they heard a cough from the side.

"Ehem, we are still here," Katherine informed them, forcing them to break free from each other.

Wuxing smiled and scratched his head, asking as if nothing happened, "Where were we?"

"You were supposed to go and tell Ash our secret. I trust your judgment," Dongmei replied, her mood improved from earlier.

"Now I'm really curious what that secret is…" Ash muttered, looking confused.

"Alright, follow me if you want to know," Wuxing called out, walking away from the table.

There were many people on the platform so he didn't want anyone to hear them by accident. Ash immediately followed after him and they walked around the platform in silence.

Seeing no one was around, he suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her under the platform, separated from outside by a thick curtain.

"Is this necessary?" Ash asked, looking at him eagerly. "What is it? You know where Wuxing is, right? I need to know."
