201 Do I

'Wait, I didn't tell you yet?' Devil Face asked confused. 'I guess that's my fault but even so, Sandra said that even Dongmei knows about it. If not me, couldn't she tell you the news? I guess they were too much for her to handle.' 

Wuxing blinked confused. 

'I don't know what you are talking about. What help? Dongmei didn't tell me anything,' 

Wuxing gazed at Dongmei and asked seriously, "Did you know that Anna needs some help?" 

Just based on Dongmei's complicated expression, he knew something was up. 

"I was supposed to tell you now but I guess I am too late. I also learned just today and only now did I calm down and calculated everything in my head," Dongmei replied honestly, not avoiding his eyes. "I'm ready to talk about it." 

"Wait, I still don't know what is it. I questioned you first," Wuxing muttered, already sensing the headache. "Shall I ask my Spirit or you tell me?"

"Well, you should ask then. I'm also in the blank. I only know what Katherine told me and it was really vague." 

Wuxing rolled his eyes. 

"Katherine also knows? Why am I the last one to learn when I'm supposed to be the one to help?"

'Tell me,' Wuxing called out annoyed in his mind, not feeling good with the information being hidden from him. 

'I earlier pushed you to accept Ash's feelings because that would prepare you for what's going to happen with Anna. Just as every Ability Holder, there are conditions to let your ability evolve. For most, it's just a frequent usage of the ability itself but some abilities are harder to evolve this way. They are much stronger than the rest and Anna's ability is like that,' Devil Face explained. 

'Just tell me what is it already…' 

'Hey, I'm getting there. Now that they announced the date of the event, everyone needs to hurry and evolve. In Anna's case, her ability evolves really slowly and the only way for her to evolve is to sleep with men and accept their seeds. That method is really draining for the men so to evolve, she would need to sleep with tens of men,' Devil Face finally revealed the essence of the problem. 'Do you get it now?' 

The information was too shocking for Wuxing to take it normally. He felt as if Devil Face's words bounced in his mind without reaching the right shelf to achieve it. 

'She needs what…? Why didn't you tell me earlier…?' Wuxing replied, barely able to form sentences. 

It wasn't good. It definitely wasn't good. 

He gazed deeply into Dongmei's eyes, gripping her hands. 

"So now you know why I didn't say anything from the start. Can you blame me?" Dongmei questioned, guessing he already knew the truth. 

Wuxing was about to speak when Devil Face added, 'Also, your body is strong enough to take Anna as many times as you want thanks to your regeneration. If you help her, she won't need to become a slut and sleep with so many men in the next five months. Do you really want her to hook up with guys left and right just to evolve? That's her only choice if you don't help her.'

"I'm not blaming you…" Wuxing muttered. "I'm also dumbfounded… I don't think I would share it as well if I didn't think properly about it…" 

How could he just accept such information? Or rather, how could he accept such order? Did he have a choice? Devil Face was clear. He has to help Anna evolve. 

Multiple questioned quickly attacked his moral code. 

Did he want to have sex with Anna? Of course not, he had the most beautiful woman in his arms that was enough for him. 

Did he want Anna to sleep with random men and become a slut? Also, no. That's the last thing he would wish to a friend. 

Knowing the answers to those two questions, would he help Anna then? 

"Let's calm down… I know it's hard… I'm here for you. We will go through this together." Dongmei assured him, at the same time disturbing his train of thoughts. "Tell me all the details." 

"Anna needs to have sex with men to evolve… Unless I help her by giving her my body, she will need to sleep with many guys to evolve…" Wuxing replied, finding it hard to describe it in front of the women he loved. "It seems only I can do it as my body regenerates." 

"That's what Katherine told me," Dongmei nodded, not surprised at all. "What do you plan to do?" 

Her tone was calm but it was clear she was anxious. 

"Aren't we supposed to discuss it together…?" Wuxing asked troubled. "You are involved in it too as my fiancee."

He needed to hear her opinion first before he even decides anything. 

"Well, do you want her to be a slut?" Dongmei asked bluntly with no filter. 

"Of course not," Wuxing replied according to her previous thoughts only to be hit by Dongmei's quick decision. 

"Then do it."

He didn't expect Dongmei would be so straightforward with such an important matter.

"You want me to have sex with her?" Wuxing asked to confirm. 

"I already thought about it since earlier. I know you very well. You are not a person who will just stand and watch when your friend needs help. I don't want you to blame yourself later," Dongmei explained while giving him a soft kiss and a smile. "Anyway, you said it yourself. You only have to give her your body to help her. It would be purely physical while your heart stays with me, right?" 

"That's right," Wuxing nodded. "I can't see any other option, but—"

Dongmei cut him off. 

"You know my opinion then. The rest depends on you."

Wuxing opened his mouth, only to close it, not really knowing what to say. How could he decide so quickly if he wants to have sex with another woman?

He couldn't help but squint his eyes and rub them a few times, brainstorming all possible options. 

He finally decided. 

"I'm…"
