19 C19: Years of Time Skip |Part 14|

• (Wano Country) {Year: 19.7} •

In a half year, the Wano Country had been decided as the second strongest compared to Elbaf, the country of giants. Wano Country now had almost over a thousand of people who had Haki, and in Marines, those with Vice Admiral rank and above were said to have a requirement of Haki, meaning there were almost a thousand of Vice Admiral-leveled people in Wano Country. The World Government were astounded at such number they received from their spies inside. Now they couldn't make Wano Country a subsidiary group of theirs, it alone easily toppled over any kingdoms they affiliated with.

However, they decided that Elbaf would still be the strongest one as their armies were composed of giants. The Wano Country didn't care about that when they found out they were ranked second strongest country. It only helped relieve their anxiousness when Ryu leaves, and their goal of being a peaceful country. Ryu was glad they now started to believe in their survivability in the world.

Some time after the news were spread, the Wano Country were visited by the World Government. The Marines had sent two admirals and Cipher Pol, just in-case. They were there to 'ask' the Wano Country if they would participate the World Summit, even if they were not part of the World Council.

When Ryu told the officials about this, they were astounded. They never knew of such World Council... They even thought if there was any usefulness in participating when they were strong enough to survive on their own. Ryu snickered at that, he was only the Shogun in-name, but he also agreed that they didn't need to, however, it would help build relations to other kingdoms.

The officials couldn't decide, so they announced the information to the community for them to vote. Should they agree, they would also have to vote a official that would attend, as well as who would be going with the said official. The community mostly voted that they didn't need to, as why would they care about other countries/kingdoms?

Ryu laughed at that, if only they knew that their future Shogun wanted to open Wano Country's gates to the outside world. The officials were in dilemma now, so they asked Ryu for help once again. However, he didn't want to help with that part, he'd rather dump that on the future Shogun as he was just in-name. Sighing, the officials could only just reject it.

The World Government wasn't happy with that, but they couldn't do anything about it. Ryu alone could easily topple the World Government and its subsidiary groups, actually, the Wano Country alone were very strong enough to be cautious towards, so they also couldn't attack it. All they could do was accept and leave.

The young handsome man stood behind the window, watching out of it. He enjoyed his peaceful time. Right now he was thinking of what to do when the One Piece storyline starts. He also wanted to go to Dressrosa and screw up the Joker's plan, just for gags. All he needed to do was to scare Sugar into falling unconscious, he laughed when he imagined their hard work going down the drain just because she fell unconscious.

There was also Whitebeard, Ace should have already joined them by now. Ryu decided to heal Whitebeard when they meet. Whitebeard wouldn't be able to defeat Ryu anymore, as Ryu had already advanced into the next realm of Sword Will, the Sword Heart realm. In the Sword Heart realm, he could make a domain of his own, but he focused on attaining other abstruse energies. Ryu decided he would find Mihawk later.

• (New World) {Year: 19.9} •

On a huge whale-like ship, Moby Dick...

The Whitebeard Pirates looked serious onboard the Moby Dick as a certain red-haired man walked towards their captain, Whitebeard. Shanks looked serious as well, but a bit later when he stood in front of Whitebeard, he laughed and threw a sake to him.

"Dahahaha! Don't look so serious!"

"Brat, why did you call for a meeting?!" Annoyed by his antics, Whitebeard shot straight to the point.

"Haha, let's take a drink first!" Shanks responded, but Whitebeard gave him a steely glare and brought out his Conqueror's Haki. Shanks immediately brought out his too, causing sparks to appear and knocking weak-willed people to faint onboard. "Alright, I called for the meeting about Ryu, the Solitary Pirate."

"You know about him?!" A tall and slightly muscular man shouted when he heard Ryu's name. "Of course you do, he's amazing right!"

Both Whitebeard and Shanks took back their Conqueror's Haki. Turning to look at him, Shanks rose his right eyebrows. "Ace, was it? You're the one who thanked me for Luffy."

"Yeah!" Ace replied, he had met Shanks before seeing Ryu and thanked him for taking care of his little sworn brother. "But why is the meeting about Ryu?"

Shanks became serious and turned to look at Whitebeard directly in the eyes. "Ryu told me he was planning to meet you eventually when my crew-mate was training him."

The whole crew and Whitebeard looked surprised, about Shanks' crew-mate training him. A pineapple-headed man asked Shanks. "Who was training him and in what?"

Chuckling, the red-haired man replied. "It was Yasopp, the marksman of mine. He was training Ryu in marksmanship, though now Ryu barely used his marksman skills... Yasopp cried tears at that! Dahahaha!"

"And? Why have you told me about this?" Whitebeard asked. He knew of Ryu, the Solitary Pirate, of course. He himself thought that Ryu could easily overthrow the World Government too. Whitebeard was interested in him, but they never met even once.

"I think I know what's he going to do when he meets you." Shanks shifted slightly hesitantly. "He's probably going to heal you."

"What?! Such man has the ability to heal Pops?!" Marco immediately shouted and questioned. The other crew-mates were looking hopefully at the red-haired man.

"Yeah. His abilities are weird and different, he doesn't even own a devil fruit either." Shanks replied. "However, I know for sure he has the ability to heal anyone."

"..." Whitebeard looked down, as the shadow covered his face. He looked like he was thinking about something. 'Is Ryu pitying me...?!'

Slamming his Bisento, Whitebeard angrily shouted at Shanks. "Tell that green-eyes brat I won't accept such pity!!!"

"Pops!" The division commanders looked at their Father confused and down.

"...I thought you might misunderstand, but he's still going to heal you. The reason?" The red-haired man wasn't faltered a single bit, he had expected this. Continuing, he walked back to his ship. "Ryu just wants to. He does whatever he wants, and even if you refuse, he will still one way or another, do it."

"...He just wants to?" Whitebeard was surprised at that. To him, a pirate was doing anything they wanted, to be free. He then laughed boisterously. "Haha! I like this Ryu brat!"

"Yeah, me too." Shanks smiled as he jumped back on his ship.

"Haha! As expected of my idol!" Proudly lifting his chest as if Ryu was his parents, Ace smugly said.

Thatch, a tall man with a light brown pompadour hairstyle looked at him pityingly, Ace was about to be in a dilemma. "Ace... Next time watch your surroundings."

"Oh? So you would support Ryu instead of me?" Whitebeard menacingly asked Ace as he spoke highly of Ryu.

Ace quickly sweatdropped, how was he going to answer when Whitebeard was literally in front of him and Ryu wasn't? Ryu was still his idol but Whitebeard had became his father too... he was now in a dilemma!

"Hahaha~!" The other crew-mates laughed.

...

In Onigashima of Wano Country...

"You green-eyes bastard! Why are you here?!" The strongest creature in the world shouted angrily as he glared at Ryu. Ryu simply returned icy glares.

"To fight. I'm going to use you for experience, I'll be lowering my capabilities a bit." The green-eyes announced, not caring for his response.

Kaido seeing this as a chance, quickly brought out his mace, slamming it to Ryu in front of him. Thunders manifested around the mace, bringing a menacing look. "EIGHT TRIGRAMS THUNDERCLAP!"

*CRACKLE*

Ryu stood still and took it with his right hand. His body alone easily beat Kaido's mythical body.

*BAM*

"Is that all?" Ryu sneered at such weak attack. Quickly disappearing on spot, Ryu moved behind Kaido's immense body and like Luffy's Jet Punch, his left hand showed afterimages as he punched Kaido's back.

*BAM*

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Kaido felt like his back received a f*cking hard punch as he flew forward and slamming down the trees, or what's left of them. Spewing blood, he maliciously stared at Ryu. "Damn it! My pride as the strongest creature won't go down right here and by you!"

*RUMBLE*

*ROOAAARR*

Dark cloud suddenly appeared above them as Kaido enlarged into a eastern dragon. The eastern dragon looked huge enough to surround the whole Onigashima now. It had scales-skinned and flames emitting out of its back. Donning four antlers and a long mustache floating, his dragon head looked menacing to everyone.

"I swear on my life I will kill you! SCORCHING MINIATURE SUN!" Inhaling a huge breath, his mouth-cheeks began to grow huger and huger. Just when Ryu thought they'd pop, Kaido exhaled a immense scorching mini-sun towards him. Kaido had nearly burned his throat doing it, he looked slightly exhausted but seemed to rapidly recovering due to his regeneration.

*RUMBLE*

*SSSSSS*

The mini-sun seemed to melt everything near it, however Ryu's clothes seemed to be of a special fabric as it did not burn. Sneering, Ryu brought his chest out as he began to inhale as well. Suddenly!

*HUUUU*

The mini-sun was frozen into a ice ball. Kaido was shocked at that, his mini-sun were literally frozen! "W-what?! How can you freeze the damn sun?!"

"Haha! Nothing's impossible with me!" Ryu declared smugly. To be honest, he didn't expect it to be frozen as well, but he didn't want Kaido to know. "Let's keep going!"

"Damn bastard!" Moving quick, the eastern dragon brought his horns towards Ryu, hoping to bash him. His prided horns were hard enough to-

*CRACK*

Casually, Ryu punched with his right fist. Kaido looked at Ryu and his now-in-pieces left horn on the ground with horror. His prided horn was easily crushed!

"Y-you!" Blood red eyes began to emit out of Kaido. "ARGHHHHH!"

*CRACKLE*

Blood red thunders began to manifest around his whole body as it began to morph into something. As if responding to that, the dark cloud began to whirl into the center as it open a hole.

*RUMBLE*

*WOOSH*

*CRACKLE*

'Mmn? What's going on?' Ryu looked at Kaido and the dark cloud, a hole in the center. The hole looked like a gate to the hell, he noted.

*RUMBLE*

*CRACKLE*

Blood red humanoid bodies started to come out of the hole, it went towards Kaido who seemed to be afraid of what's happening.

"NO! WHA- ARGGGHHHHH~!" Kaido shouted in agony. The blood red humanoid bodies started to merge with the eastern dragon's body, enlarging it. The body began to emit blood red thunders, horns shedding for new ones, flames on its back turned into pitch black, and its scales turned into blood red. His claws were pitch-black as were his new horns.

Immense pressure were felt from the now-different dragon. Menacingly, Kaido began to laugh eerily. "Kukuhahaha!"

"...?" Tilting his head, Ryu thought that Kaido became crazy. Well, not like he was never one.

"I have become a devil dragon!" Kaido announced as his pitch-black claws slammed into Ryu. Ryu being now cautious, quickly dodged with his Observation Haki.

*BAM*

Ryu was shocked as his body flew to the ground heavily. He was still hit! The devil dragon was slightly surprised as well, but taking that as a advantage, he quickly moved towards Ryu and tried to slam his claws again.

*WOOSH*

However, this time Ryu successfully dodged as he increased the speed. He laughed. "Hahaha! This is getting fun than I expected!"

Encasing his right fist with Armament Haki, Ryu dashed to Kaido's eerily menacing dragon head and punched upward his jaws.

*BOOM*

The Devil Dragon splurt out blood as his head flew backward. Kaido got angered that he still couldn't fight Ryu on even grounds! He began to circulate his blood red thunders into the center of both his pitch-black claws.

*CRACKLE* *CRACKLE*

A pitch red thunder ball showed up, on its outline were pitch-black flames. It looked like an even stronger attack than the mini-sun he made before. As if pushing it, the thunder ball moved in a speed of thunder. "DEVIL FLAMING THUNDERBALL!"

(AN: lul i cant think of attack names xd)

Ryu watched it near him when he suddenly used his custom Armament Haki to encase his right hand. He brought his right palm towards it, and made a squeezing movement. The Devil Flaming Thunderball suddenly warped as if a hand was squeezed it.

*HISSS*

The red thunderball began to become smaller and disappear as it made a hissing sound. Kaido immediately slammed his blood red-scaled tail emitting black flames towards Ryu.

*BAM*

Once again, Ryu dodged as the ground under him show a huge hole. The devil dragon suddenly became smaller and smaller, until it became a humanoid. Kaido looked like a huge muscular man, with long mustache, four pitch-black horns, and his black hair were touching the floor, longer. His hands were claws-like, but as he encased it with Armament Haki, immense pressure came out both of them!

"DEVIL CLAWS!" Blood red scales began to show up on the strongest creature's hands, stopping at the wrists with the nails turning pitch black. He moved so towards Ryu and clawed him.

*WOOSH*

*CLANG*

Ryu brought out a durable sword and used it to block his claws. Sparks appeared as they kept clashing, sword vs. claw. Truthfully, Ryu could easily beat Kaido at the beginning, but where's the fun in that?

*CLANG*

*CLANG*

Both of them continued till it was getting dark. Kaido jumped back and panted. Even with his newfound stamina, he still couldn't last against the not-even-sweating Ryu. "J-just how much of stamina do you have?!"

(AN: enough to last 1 year of permanent sex, teehee~)

"Higher than yours," Ryu answered the obvious. Kaido enraged at that, used his Conqueror's Haki at its fullest. Burst of huge wind came out of him. Ryu also brought out his normal Conqueror's Haki, clashing against Kaido's.

*CLANG~!*

*BOOM* *BOOM*

Both of Conqueror's Haki clashed as the sparks appeared and the ground around them crumbled. Black lightning appeared when they continued, people in Wano Country could see it easily. Small debris that were on the ground crumbled into dust. Ryu looked like he wasn't even trying, casually standing in the same spot, while Kaido kept stepping back heavily, causing miniature holes to appear.

Kaido wielding a conqueror's traits, shouted angrily. "D-DAMN! I WON'T FALL!"

Blood began to drip from his eyes, as blood-red scales appeared from his Devil Claws, covering his whole body. His back now emitted black flames and blood red thunder crackled around his body. Ryu was surprised at that, it seemed that his body morphing also changed his Conqueror's Haki. But that was just it.

Sneering, Ryu started to walk towards the devil dragon in human form. "You think you can beat me in a battle of wills?!"

Ryu increased the pressure, shocking Kaido and angered as he started to wobble. "INFINITE THUNDERBOLTS!"

*CRACKLE* *SHHH*

Countless small blood-red thunderbolts came towards Ryu from Kaido's body. Though they looked small, they had power to turn a human into dust. Ryu wasn't not willing to risk taking them when Kaido became a devil dragon. He kept dodging them as Kaido kept shooting them all while both of them were clashing with Conqueror's Haki.

"WHY?! WHY DO YOU STOP ME FROM MY DREAM?!" Kaido suddenly started to cried as he weakened his Conqueror's Haki. Ryu was surprised at his sudden mood swing... he helplessly took back his Conqueror's Haki.

"Because it was the reason why Wano Country would have gone a wasteland and corrupt." Ryu said as Kaido also took back his Conqueror's Haki. The devil dragon was shocked that Ryu knew of his plans of making factories.

"How did you know of the plans?!"

"...See ya later, I hope you get stronger when we meet again." Ignoring his question, Ryu flew back to Wano Country. Ryu had never intended to kill Kaido, but use him as a dummy for him to gain experience or play around with. If Kaido had learned this, he would've suicide attack him.

What both of them never noticed were the Den Den Mushi placed around the Onigashima by the spies of World Government and other organizations. The organizations had just incase placed them if Kaido really intended to stay there. They never expected for a such battle to appear on their visual transmissions.

...

The Revolutionary Army...

"This man..." A spiky black haired man with tattoo on left side of his face muttered. "He will be very dangerous, only if we offend him..."

A blond haired man with old burn mark on his left eye agreed with his leader. "Yes. As long as we're neutral or on his side, the Solitary Pirate will not come after us."

"Hihi~ it was fun watching Ryu bash Kaido repeatedly! He even made him cry at the end, haha!" A certain orange-haired beauty laughed, making the others sweatdrop at her antics.

"My~ Is this your crush?" A tall, slim woman with short and light hair asked. The orange-haired immediately quietened and blushed.

"Haha!"

...

The Marines...

"..." A tall muscular man with long, braided goatee, a black afro, and mustache looked solemn, as were the other people in the room. They had watched Ryu easily deal with Kaido, even when Kaido turned into something new, a devil dragon. "Kaido has become stronger, it seems."

*CRUNCH*

"Yes. Yet, Ryu easily dealt with him," a tall, broad-chested, muscular old man with a beard and a scar over his left eye added as he ate rice crackers, "he made it look so easy, when truthfully it's harder."

*CRUNCH*

"Justice will be served," a tall and muscular man with square-shaped face, very pronounced facial features, and short black hair simply said his catchphrase. "We will arrest the Solitary Pirate, Ryu, one day."

*CRUNCH*

"Ri~ght. R~yu~ wil~l be dea~lt wit~h on~e da~y." A middle-aged man with slim build, black hair, and a thin beard slowly spoke.

*CRUNCH*

"Mmn." A another tall man with black and curly hair to chin-length wearing a sleep maskonly grunted.

*CRUNCH*

"...Damn it Garp! Stop loudly eating your rice crackers!" The black afro man shouted at the man who kept making loud crunches.
