Jean was born to be simple and kind-hearted. Although she had a miserable childhood, her nature had not changed because of this. She still managed to stay good.
There's no doubt that being kind-hearted was good merit, but every coin has two sides. That is to say, it also did harm to Jean. A gentlewoman like her could easily be hurt by those who had bad ideas.
For example, Joy had killed Jean's mother. Yet in the end, she chose to forgive her.
So, Jean was evidently a generous woman who would forgive her enemies as well.
What Jean had said just now was right. Now that she had married Zed, he would not give anybody a chance to hurt her.
The car smoothly entered into the courtyard of the Qi Family.
Jean came out of the car and stared at the towering and magnificent villa which was standing among the beautiful flowers.
At this view, Jean's heart was suddenly moved and there was a mixture of feelings. But she had no idea what prompted such strong feelings.
'Yes, the villa standing in front of me is my home.' she convinced herself.
She told herself this home would belong to Zed, her and their baby.
Zed walked up to her side and he instantly figured what Jean was thinking about. Her surprise and shock were evident to him.
Immediately, he put his arm around her and intended to relax her. "Darling, let's go inside!" he said with a smile forming on the corner of his mouth.
Jean couldn't help turning back to look at Zed. "Baby, I am lucky to have met you. It's you who have brought me such a good life," she replied with a sweet smile on her face.
Hearing Jean's words, Zed was moved and he felt so happy. "Baby, I love you," he whispered in her ear.
"I love you too," Jean replied with a faint show of shyness on her face.
"Hey, look at you two! How can you confess your love for each other in front of me? Maybe it's better for you to go inside and talk about this in private." Here came a playful voice from behind. Jean and Zed turned to see Zack who was laughing out loud.
Jean felt so shy when she saw Zack and a scarlet glow spread across her face. She quickly let go of Zed's hand and separated herself from him.
Noticing Jean's reaction, Zed immediately reached out his hand to grab her hand. He stared at Zack with a trace of displeasure on his face. "Why are you here? I don't remember inviting you here."
"Sorry to tell you that it is my right to come here. I don't need your invitation. Besides, I have to remind you that I came here to meet your parents. Hence it's none of your business. Do you hear me?" Zack swaggered up to Zed with his eyes fixated on Jean. He looked up a
"You're my wife in name only, on paper only. My heart and love will never be yours."
Edward made it clear to Daisy that she was nothing to him. They were both victims of family greed -- the marriage was arranged for them.

r heart.
'Jean, I know what you are worried about. But I'm afraid that I will only bring you more trouble if I stay here.
Now that the trouble has already been caused, I have an obligation to stay here and help you solve it.
Besides, I don't want to make you worry about me anymore, ' Moore thought to himself.
"Let's go downstairs! Zed's friend is here. Let me introduce you to each other." Jean stood up as she said this.
Moore looked at Jean with a trace of hesitation on his face, and then he said,"Jean, I don't want to go downstairs. You know that I don't like to deal with people that I'm not familiar with."
"Come on, Moore. I have never imagined that you are afraid to meet strangers!" Jean felt a little bit astonished when she was refused by him.
Moore laughed bitterly when he heard Jean's words. "Jean, you have misunderstood me. I'm not afraid of meeting strangers. But I hate dealing with them. Do you understand?"
"No way. You must come downstairs with me today." Jean continued to persuade Moore. "You're going to meet each other sooner or later. So you can't just hide in your room. I don't know what Zack would think of you if he knew that you were hiding here. So just come with me, okay?"
"Zack? Is he that friend of Zed which you have mentioned?" Moore asked with surprise.
"Yes, Zack. He has a good relationship with the Qi Family and he is also Zed's good friend. He will be staying for dinner today. Besides, my mother-in-law will cook for us. So, don't keep hiding here. You can't avoid meeting him today. You'd better come with me. It's okay. Don't be restrained. I'm not familiar with Zack, either. Anyway, I believe that you can get along well with each other,"
Jean promised Moore, wanting to comfort him.
