Chapter 740 You All Lied To Me

Jean's face dropped with shock once she heard that they had broken up. "What happened?" Jean couldn't help but ask.

"I went to see Moore this morning since I was free. You know that I just finished the advertisement and cooperation with Juan is still in the preparatory period. Therefore, I can have a break for a few days. So I decided to spend more time with Moore. I knew that he would start to work in Zed's company next week, so I thought it was a good chance to nurture our love and grow the relationship. But, when I opened the door, Moore jumped surprised. He was trying to hide something from me," said Avery.

"Hide something?" Jean asked, confused. She looked at Avery and continued, "Does this have something to do with your break-up?"

"Yes! It's the main cause," Avery nodded. Tears filled her beautiful eyes and her face was white as a sheet.

"Please, go on." Jean encouraged Avery to tell her the whole story.

"I didn't notice anything unusual until I was in front of him. He had a strange look on his face while he was fumbling with something. That's when I realized he was trying to hide something."

Avery smiled bitterly. "It's my fault. If it wasn't for my curiosity, I would never have been disappointed. I couldn't control my temper and was so angry that I broke up with him."

"So you, broke up with him? Because Moore hid something from you?"

asked Jean with a puzzled look.

"Yes," said Avery. She nodded her head and heaved a deep sigh. "I was extremely curious about his secret. So I asked him what it was, but he refused to tell me. He didn't even try to explain to me. Instead, he just looked at me in silence. I have been ignored by him so many times that I couldn't stand it any longer. I ended up losing my temper and was determined to find it out what it was.

The more mysterious he was about it the more I wanted to find out. I had a bad feeling that the secret could ruin our relationship one day. I had to know what it was. At that moment, I wasn't thinking too much. All I wanted was to satisfy my curiosity and find out what it was he was hiding. I lost my head com

“Do you still want to run away after what happened last night?”

Their relationship changes overnight. She tries to keep her distance from him, while he comes closer and closer.

Spoiling her, he gives her everything she desires. His only wish is to keep her around. The whole world is envious of what she has.

“Never rush in a relationship,” she says calmly.

hen, she got the courage and looked up. "I didn't know he had feelings for another woman. Or else, I would never have brought you two together. When I found out the truth, it was too late. You were already together. I thought that your relationship would blossom and Moore would fall in love with you. I didn't expect him to hurt you."

"What? Jean, you knew that he had feelings for another woman?" Avery glared at her in shock. She was in total disbelief.

"I found out not that long ago," replied Jean. She heaved a deep sigh and pressed her lips together. "I'm really sorry Avery."

It was a great shock to her. Avery was filled with despair. It seemed like she was looking at a stranger.

"All of you knew, except for me. Am I right? You all lied to me!" Avery glared at Jean, shouting at her.

"We didn't know how to tell you. We didn't want to hurt you," explained Jean. She became a little panicked when she saw how angry Avery was. "I swear I don't know who it is that he loves. I think you are the perfect match for Moore!"

"Jean Wen, stop talking rubbish! I didn't expect you to hide the truth from me! I thought we were friends! How could you do this to me? Do you think it is funny to lie to me? You all know how much I love Moore while he doesn't even like me at all. You think I am pathetic! Is that why you brought us together? You made him date me! Am I right?" said Avery resentfully.
