Chapter 988 A New Student

In Julie's eyes, James was the rebound guy.

Julie's idea was simple. If things didn't work out for her with Zed, then she would have James ready waiting for her. Julie felt frustrated when she thought of her mother, who had been asking her for money like a blood-sucking vampire.

"What? James, how could you say that to me? You're making me very sad! Hmm!"

Julie saw everything clearly. The crying was just an act she did to deceive James and get him to feel sorry for her. James couldn't see her anyway, so why should she bother act genuinely?

While Julie was so engrossed in her acting, she didn't know that another person was observing her.

"Don't cry, Julie. We all need to calm down, you know? Just calm down," James said, trying to comfort her.

"No, I can't calm down. I just want to see you. I'm right at the door of your club. Come back quickly!" she demanded.

"Okay wait for me!"

James sighed. He had intended to break up with Julie today, but now it seemed impossible.

"Thank you, James. I'll be waiting for you, okay?"

With that, she made the sound of a kiss to James before hanging up the phone.

With a sigh of relief, Julie closed her eyes and didn't want to think about anything.

"I'm the one who breaks up with people, not the other way around! Don't think that you can get rid of me, James!

Besides, how could I let go so easily? You're good enough for me to take advantage of this opportunity to get close to Jean and ruin her relationship with Zed."

Talking to herself, she didn't notice that someone else was standing next to her.

Clap! Clap! Clap! A succession of clapping alerted Julie. Flustered, she opened her eyes and saw a man approaching her.

"Who are you?" Julie yelled, frowning at the man.

"It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is that I'm interested in you."

"Do you know what you did wrong? It's alright if you just wanted to own me. But you should not have helped Molly leave me!"

When Brian learns the truth, there is no chance for Hannah to win his heart.

Molly, who wants to run away from Brian, seems to be the only one to blame for Hannah's misfortune...

ound with a thud and cried out in pain.

By the time Jean had realized what was happening, the man was already lying on the ground. It was too late for her to do anything to stop Zed.

Quickly she scrabbled to pull Zed away from him.

Zed had lost his temper. "Jean, he called me a son of a bitch!" he grumbled.

"Yes, he was wrong for calling you that, but you shouldn't have punched him!"

When Jean heard Paul curse Zed, she felt upset too and felt like punching the trainee in the face. However, the fact that Zed actually did do it would get the club into trouble now. Jean was left feeling worried and frustrated.

"But..."

As Zed tried to explain, Jean waved at him to stop. She went to Paul and said, "Are you all right, sir?"

Paul was agitated and shouted at Jean, "What do you think? I'm here to sign up for a membership! Is this how you treat the students?"

The hubbub had attracted the attention of many other students. Jean knew this wasn't the place to deal with such things, so she politely said to Paul, "How about we go to the office? Let me take a look at your wound, sir."

Paul thought about it and then reached out his hand to Jean and said, "Well, give me a hand and help me get there."
