In the office, Zed called his suppliers. They told him that they would send someone to the J Hotel to talk to him in person.
It gave Zed a weird feeling. He felt that there was something else bigger behind this. However, he didn't know what it was. Without any other solutions in mind, Zed agreed to wait for the person to come.
Jean called as soon as he hung the phone.
"Zed, how's the hotel? Is there everything all right?"
"It's fine, Jean. Don't worry about it. I'll take care of it. Your husband can handle anything. Don't you know that?"
"Yes, I know that! I'm just waiting for you so you can help me move."
"Right! About that... We might have to push it to tomorrow."
"Why?"
Even if Zed wasn't telling her anything, she could tell that something big was going on. She decided to find out on her own.
"Nothing really. Jean, just don't worry. I'll take care of it."
Zed still didn't want to tell her. Jean figured she didn't have to find out from Zed. She decided to just let it go, and she said goodbye to him.
As soon as Jean said goodbye to Zed, she immediately called James. She said on the phone, "James, there's something going on with the J Hotel. Could you please help me to find out what it is?"
"Okay... But I need more information than that. Calm down! Tell me what you know."
"I don't know much too. Zed won't tell me, but I can tell that something's going on. I know your family owns a few hotels too. Can you ask around and see if they know anything?"
"Okay, let's see what I can do. Don't worry. I'll try my best!"
Jean couldn't keep calm as James asked around. She kept telling herself that everything would be okay. However, it didn't help much.
Meanwhile, Hess walked back to Zed's office and said, "Boss, all the employees are in the conference room now. When does the meeting start?"
Standing up from his chair, Zed walked out and responded, "Right now! Let's see what they want."
Hess still
"Do you know what you did wrong? It's alright if you just wanted to own me. But you should not have helped Molly leave me!"
When Brian learns the truth, there is no chance for Hannah to win his heart.
Molly, who wants to run away from Brian, seems to be the only one to blame for Hannah's misfortune...
e older of the two said upon seeing Zed.
Hess still hadn't noticed Zed. He replied, "My job is to represent Mr. Qi in this hotel. My words have just as much power as his does."
"Oh, really? Who said so?" Zed suddenly chimed in.
Zed was upset with Hess especially seeing how arrogant he could get. Zed could now see that Hess just hid it from him.
Hess suddenly turned around. Seeing Zed's angry expression, he explained hastily, "It's not like that, boss! I can explain..."
Zed raised his hand and interrupted him. He said, "I think it's all very clear. I don't want to hear what you have to say."
Then, he walked over to the two women. "Do you work here?" he asked.
Zed rarely got to talk to all the employees, most especially the ones at entry-level so he didn't recognize all of them. He just assumed this based on what Hess had just said.
"No, sir. But we used to work here before Hess fired us."
Zed's expression changed. He didn't know that Hess fired anyone without getting his final approval. He couldn't believe that Hess would hide such a huge thing from him.
"Sir, please hear me out..."
Hess tried to explain himself again, but Zed stopped him again by raising his hand. Looking at the two women, Zed continued, "Don't be afraid. You can tell me anything you want."
