Noah was at a loss, he was overwhelmed with emotions right now and had too much that he had wanted to say to Ivy. He was never shown love, never needed it but when it came to the woman that stood before him he felt everything all at once.
Noah smiled down at her, he must have smiled a million times since he had met her. He wanted to save his words till he got to the altar so he bent down and kissed her. He held her as close as possible to his chest wishing that they could be one at that moment.
Ivy felt how his strong arms wrapped around her and she felt how special this moment was. She caught her breath as she leaned her forehead against his. In a low voice, Ivy said, "Shall we go and make you my hubby?"
Noah couldn't hold back and picked her up and crashed their mouths together. One small nickname had changed him, he wanted to hear it more so stopped kissing for a moment and looked into her eyes and said, "Say it again?"
Ivy couldn't help but tease," Shall we go?"
Noah let out a low growl, "Say it or I will take you here."
Ivy laughed, she wouldn't mind having some fun but the build up for what would happen later only made her want to make him wait. Ivy then said exactly what he wanted to hear, "Hubby."
Noah crashed his lips against hers again. It was a passionate and loving kiss followed by a low growl from Noah. He said, "Let's make you Mrs Adler before we both lose it."
Ivy nodded and as they broke apart she glanced at Noah's suit, she fixed his black necktie and noticed that it was the same necktie she had bought him. That time felt so long ago now and they had grown so much as a couple since then.
He had forced his way into her life and now she couldn't see a life without him. In the past, she had thought that the man she would fall in love with would be kind and gentle with a smile that was like the spring breeze. Now, she realized that she preferred decisiveness and unruliness. She preferred a man who was ruthless but gentle and cared only for her and this gentleness was reserved just for her.
After Ivy had fixed his necktie she smiled up at him and he smiled that devilish smile that she loved.
Noah then played with a strand of her long black wavy hair and said, "I will let you finish getting ready. I'll be just outside." Noah then walked out of the changing room and returned to the waiting room. He saw the sales girl and she just nodded and rushed off with a box and some bags in the direction of the changing room. Noah then sat on the sofas to wait for Ivy. He smirked at himself as he thought of himself as a man that never waited for a second for anyone now would wait a lifetime for her if she wanted him to.
Inside the changing room, Ivy was calming her fast beating heart as she fixed her dress and hair back into place. She had worn minimal makeup and with his kisses she now had rosy cheeks to match. She had to calm down, she thought.
Just then the white long changing room curtain was flung open and Kammie rushed in with bags and a large box in her hand.
Kammie beamed up at Ivy and said, "I have some jewellery here and some shoes for you to try."
Ivy was happy with Kammie's dress choice so she simply responded with "I believe in your choices for me, so you pick."
Kammie was used to serving high maintenance ladies and women of the upper class who ordered her around and never listened to her choices. They would come in and only look at the most expensive items and buy them, whether it suited them or not.
Kammie had a lot of choices with her but she had her favourites and picked them out. She went with the black diamonds and black dress and continued with that style. She took out a pair of teardrop black earrings and Ivy smiled and put them on.
The earrings were dramatic yet elegant, these drop earrings feature four alluring black diamonds totalling approximately 32.00 carats. Held within a sophisticated 18K white gold setting accented with approximately 3.50 carats of sparkling white diamonds, these earrings are breathtaking.
Kammie then brought out a black diamond choker necklace. Ivy turned and shook her head," No necklace today."
Kammie didn't know why but she nodded and put the necklace away. She picked out a shoebox next it was a pair of sheer beige Romy pumps from Jimmy Choo with a black lace finish, pointed toe. It gave Ivy the height and elegance that she deserved.
Ivy smiled at kammie's choice, "Looks like I will have to come back and torture you again. I hate to shop and Noah usually just fills my wardrobe."
Ivy laughed but Kammie blushed at the compliment from Ivy. If every person she styled was as amiable and easy to style as Ivy, her job would feel worthwhile and fun. Kammie looked at Ivy one last time, "I would love it if you came back."
Ivy agreed and said, "I'll come back and we can have some lunch too." Ivy bent down and put on her heels as she stood back up again. She felt a wave of dizziness again and she saw spots appear.
Kammie saw Ivy falter and rushed over to hold Ivy steady, "Are you okay? Can I go get Mr Adler?"
Ivy stood with Kammie's help and said, "No no dont tell him anything I am okay."
Kammie frowned; she thought that Mr Adler should know but she trusted that Ivy would tell him if she needed to and followed Ivy's instructions. She nodded and said, "I won't be a moment."
Kammie then rushed out of the changing room. Ivy sat on the raised platform in the middle of the room while she waited to feel better and just as Kammie had said she had returned a moment later.
Kammie came towards Ivy with her handbag. Kammie then gave her a chocolate bar and a tin of fizzy juice. Ivy took them both and thanked her.
Ivy then said, "I'm okay, this will help thank you. We came out this morning and I haven't eaten yet today."
Kammie nodded, "I guessed. Most brides are so anxious that they forget to eat"
