"Noah."
Ivy was feeling happy tipsy now as she called Noah she was excited to see him. She momentarily forgot her earlier troubles already. Thomas and Pierce froze at the sight of the icy glare they received from Noah.
Noah stood against the door frame with his arms folded. He wasn't happy that Ivy seemed drunk and he liked it even less than two men were in his bedroom trying to change Ivy's sweatshirt. Her body was for his eyes only. Noah had a dark and cold aura seeping out through his body. The only one unaffected was Ivy who was oblivious as she was happy to see her lover.
The tipsy Ivy ran into Noah's arms, she hugged him like the warm human pillow he was. she rubbed her face against his muscular chest like a kitten wanting affection. She never thought he was intimidating, sure a bit cold sometimes but she could be too. What Ivy failed to see was that Noah only treated Ivy differently from everyone else, she was his one exception. He only showed this side to her and her alone.
Pierce scratched the back of his neck he felt very uncomfortable in Noah's presence. Thomas stood straight nearly saluting at Noah, wishing he could be anywhere but in Noah's bedroom at that moment.
"I should go," Pierce said as he ran past Noah sticking his body to the wall as much as humanly possible. Pierce then grabbed his laptop and bag from the living room.
"Ivy speak soon yeah." He waved in Ivy's direction refusing to make eye contact again.
Noah turned to Thomas. "Send Ivy's friend home."
"Sure boss" Thomas ran out of the bedroom as fast as he could, nodding to Pierce in the direction of the door so they could leave asap. Pierce saw his escape route and followed.
"Wait a minute," Noah commanded as he watched the two of them trying to flee.
Just as he had thought he was getting out of there Noah asked him to wait. Thomas hoped he wasn't going to get some form of punishment. Thomas and Pierce looked at each other. They wished to leave asap before the icy cold man came back again. Pierce kept his head down inching for the door hoping Noah not to notice him.
Meanwhile in Noah's bedroom...
"Noah, you are a bad man. Very bad man. After tonight I won't like you any more. Nope, not one more day, bad man." Ivy poked at the man's wall like chest while he hugged her waist closer, if he let go she would fall. He turned to look at her scrunched up face as she tried to then push him away. His arms formed a cage around her.
"You like me?". Noah was amused at her adorable attitude and small kitten-like pokes that didn't faze him. Noah picked her up placing Ivy on their king-size bed.
"Aghh... not from now on...this very minute.... nope...not one more second will I like Noah Adler." Noah changed her wet sweatshirt into his large t-shirt and smiled as all he could hear was she liked him and choosing to ignore the rest of her scolding. He found a phone that didn't belong to Ivy in her leggings, he put it in his pocket.
"Ok let's go to bed." Noah pulled the covers up and over Ivy, trying to get her to lye down. He would pamper her even more if she was this cute all the time.
"My mum said bad men sleep on the sofa." Ivy pointed at the door to the living room then collapsed back down onto the bed.
"Now." Noah raised his eyebrows, his kitten was sharpening her claws and trying to kick him out of bed. Not in this lifetime he thought.
"What have I done?... Ivy... Ivy." Ivy was fast asleep, her breathing shallow and cheeks still all puffed up. Noah sighed to himself, leaving Ivy in bed and walking out to the living room where both Pierce and Thomas stood nervously.
Noah went to the bar to pour a drink for himself but his whiskey was gone, he frowned. He turned to a sheepish looking Thomas and Pierce playing with his fingers while staring at the floor.
"Report." Noah used his CEO voice he wasn't happy. His whiskey was very strong and alcohol was very unhealthy for Ivy's body.
"Maybe you should tell him you know what happened more than I do," Thomas said looking at Pierce.
Pierce was about to kill Thomas for throwing him into these tigers claws. He sighed and began to tell Noah about Jamie's stakeout as well as the text and then the pictures that Ivy had scrolled through over and over again.
"So Ivy started to drink and we thought she was ok then we soon realised she was very tipsy. The photos aren't real right... you didn't." Pierce found his courage and asked Noah. He would help Ivy leave this man if he had too, he wouldn't ever want her to be unhappy again.
Noah didn't need to explain himself to anyone so he was silent as he picked up Ivy's phone and looked through the txt then the photos.
"Boss I was going to message you but Ivy took my phone."
Noah took the phone from his pocket and handed it to Thomas.
Pierce dug deep and found his inner courage and said. "It's the only thing Ivy won't forgive...Please don't hurt my friend." Pierce stared at the bedroom door.
"Noted." One word that was all the imposing CEO said before he entered his bedroom closing the door behind him.
Thomas and Pierce took that as there time to escape so they ran out as fast as they could taking Zeus with them. The pup knew when to pretend to sleep and did so when he felt the CEO'S presence enter the apartment. Thomas and Pierce left in fear the CEO would call them back again they both hoped it was all a misunderstanding. Both Ivy and Noah in their opinion were made for each other.
