Leena asked Daniel.
"Look at my clothes today." Daniel smiled.
"You started to work?"
"I have found something to do." He said happily.
"You are not working with your uncle?"
"No."
Leena wanted to roll her eyes. After all, he wanted to talk about old stuff.
Daniel asked deliberately, "Do you want to join me?"
"Forget it. I can't afford to offend you," said Leena, waving her hand.
"Don't think so badly of me. Have I done anything bad to you these days?" After taking another sip of coffee, he continued, "I just want to be friends with you."
"I don't understand." Leena really didn't understand. She always felt that Daniel had some ulterior motives for closing her. When they were together, she didn't think so and thought that he was a very good person. Now, after being betrayed by Mr. Martin, she felt that maybe Daniel was not that simple.
"Don't think too bad of me, really." Daniel explained again, but his tone was very light. He didn't demand that she must believe him.
Leena looked at him and said nothing. Th
Professor Henry began to urge her impatiently, "Let's go. Or we will be late!"
Rena happily held his hand and walked out of the cafe.
Leena noticed that the two of them got on the Honda again, which was so strange. It was so clean every day, as if it was not stained with dust, and it looked like a new car every day. Leena couldn't understand. Even Carlson's car was specially managed by someone, it was impossible to keep it a brand new look all the time after going out for a few days. Did Professor Henry clean the car almost every day? How much did he love his precious car? It was just a Honda worth 300 thousand or 400 thousand. Was it worth it? A man would rather die than lose his face like this!
Somehow, Leena didn't like Professor Henry. She hated him so much. Maybe she was really freaking out because she couldn't bear that Professor Henry cheated Rena's feelings.
After they left, Daniel asked Leena, "What's the matter? One is your best friend, and the other is your teacher? "
"Yeah, are you surprised? Do you feel it's strange?"
