"What are you going to do in the future?" Asked Daniel.
Leena shook her head. She didn't know what to do. She hadn't studied the divorce agreement Carlson gave her yet.
Daniel looked at her and asked cautiously, "The child..."
Leena touched her belly subconsciously. She belly didn't show at all. No one could imagine that there was a little life in such a flat belly.
"You Why don't you try to tell him that you are pregnant? If he knows that you are pregnant, maybe he will change his attitude towards you?"
Leena sneered, "If he changes his mind only after he knows that I'll l have a child. Do you think I should still be with such a man?"
Although she knew that Carlson married her probably because he wanted to have a child, Leena still wanted to laugh at herself. She was nothing in Carlson's heart.
Daniel sighed, "So do you want to keep this baby?"
"I don't know. I don't have the ability and confidence to raise a child."
Daniel fell silent and looked at the dim street lamps in the distance with her. In front of them was a small square,
and said, "If no one will take care of you in the future, I will!"
Leena was a little surprised, as if her heart was hit by something. Looking at his eyes, she felt that there was something in his eyes that made her heart throb. She always thought that Daniel was a careless boy. Now he held her hand and said these words, but his expression was firm and persistent, which made her a little surprised.
Seeing that she didn't respond, Daniel added, "I'm serious."
Leena really didn't know how to respond. Daniel's sudden caught up with her and saying such words made her unprepared. At least in the past few months, she had never thought that he would say such words. Therefore, even if she had a lot of things in her mind, she was choked and couldn't speak. After a long time, Leena said, "It's late now. You should go back and have a rest."
"Are you not going to think about it?" Daniel insisted.
Leena lowered her head and sighed, "Daniel, I don't know why you said that, but I haven't divorced with Carlson yet. I haven't thought about such a long-term thing."
