Chapter 298 Dinner With Mrs. Yang (Part One)

Yanni sat next to Carlson stiffly, not knowing what to do. It seemed that Carlson also didn't know how to get along with a child at his age. He casually asked him a few common questions which Yanni had been asked many times. After that, he had nothing to say.

Seeing this, Leena couldn't help but burst into laughter. She waved her hand and let Yanni go back to his room. She said to Carlson, "I'm worried about our future child."

"What are you worried about?"

"His dad seems don't know how to play with children." She cast a reproachful and coquettish glance at Carlson.

Leaning against the sofa with his back, Carlson said leisurely, "Yes, I can reason with children if they are older. But now, he is neither very young nor very old. It's very embarrassing. I don't know how to get along with him."

"Obviously, my brother doesn't know how to get along with you. He probably thinks that his brother-in-law is very boring."

Carlson shook his head and smiled helplessly.

At this time, Mrs. Yang just came back. She opened the door and saw that Carlson had arrived. She said in surprise, "Mr. C

k what originally belongs to me!"

Hearing that, Leena was a little sad again. "Carlson, haven't you ever thought about taking back your things by legal means? Since Mr. Martin took them away in an improper way, you can sue him. Maybe you will win back your things!"

With a cold look on his face, Carlson sneered and said, "It's not that I haven't thought about it. But without evidence, we have to pay others back in their own coin. The police may not be able to control it."

"I still don't want you to be hurt..." Leena murmured and suddenly thought of something. She asked, "Carlson, I heard that there are actually two notebooks about the inside story of the Empire Group. If you can get both two notebooks, can you sue Mr. Martin?"

"What two notebooks?" Carlson turned to look at her.

Leena said, "Didn't you, Dylan and Jack always try to grab a notebook from Richard? Is this notebook very important to you?"

Carlson looked at the car in silence, with his eyes staring ahead all the time. All of a sudden, Leena felt the atmosphere in the car was depressing. She quietly waited for his reply.
