As Klein follows, he asks me.
"what do you have in mind?"
I respond.
"I'm going to have the gaurds reveal that I'm here and have Gale come after me."
he asks curiously.
"and will the gaurds do it?"
I reply confidently.
"yes."
"how do you know that?"
I look to my right and ask.
"because your going to do it for, Right Celeste?"
she reveals herself and replies nonchalantly.
"as expected of Master Collin, you were able to notice my invisibility spell."
I reply.
"well I figured King Ryan, would want eyes on me this whole time, and so I took a shot in the dark and it looks like my guess was right."
Celeste and Klein make eye contact and she asks.
"what is that thing?"
"I've got a taming spell, and he's under my control."
Klein waves and says.
"hello."
she responds with a look of disgust.
"gross that thing is talking."
I chuckle and say.
"he doesn't bite, he's just saying hello."
but she just gives him the same disgusted look and says.
"fine but I don't want that thing talking to me, it creeps me out."
"It's not funny Collin."
I reply with a smirk.
"it's kinda funny."
Celeste then asks me.
"so what are you trying to getting at with confronting Gale?"
I reply.
"I'm hoping that he's rational enough to have a talk with me."
she replies.
"if you end up fighting eachother, I won't be getting involved and just watch while I'm invisible."
"sounds fair, I don't want to drag you into my conflicts."
we arrive at the closest gaurd tower and as Celeste approaches one of the gaurds, Klein asks me.
"how'd you end up meeting her?"
I reply coldly.
"she helped me kill that bastard Clyde."
he seems to like what I said and then he says clenching his fist.
"that's what he gets for falsely accusing you for Rosie's murder."
I respond by asking him a serious question.
"what do you think about how I've been handling her death?"
"I think you've been composed and stoic about her death."
he stops talking and as he looks back down to me he says.
"but then again, you did cry when Sid died, and I didn't see if you did when she died, so I'm only going off with what I've seen."
I respond.
"I see."
but before Klein got to say anything, Celeste comes up to us and says.
"Gale is about to show up in a bit."
Celeste disappears and then says in my mind.
"good luck Master Collin, I'll be watching from a safe distance."
"okay I'll see you again when this is over."
I then hear Klein crack his knuckles and say under his breath.
"time for round two, Gale."
I put my hand on his shoulder and I said.
"calm down we're not going to fight him, I want to talk him."
he replies.
"but."
I interrupt.
"listen we'll only fight him, if he makes the first move and starts attacking us."
he lets out a heavy breath and replies gritting his teeth.
"fine, but I won't hold back, the moment he does that first move."
I respond.
"fair enough."
after silently waiting around for a while, Klein sniffs the air and says.
"He's nearby and he's not alone, so we better be careful."
I then think to myself.
"damn it, hopefully he actually tries to talk instead of straight up attacking us."
Klein taps my shoulder and says.
"we should probably lead them to the outskirts, it will be bad if everyone sees me transform into a werewolf."
I respond.
"yeah we should probably do that now before Gale finds us."
the both of us quickly leave the area and we find ourselves at the wooded outskirts of Hellion village, and after creating some distance between us and the village we hear a shout from behind us.
"Collin, enough running, too much blood has been spilled, turn yourself in!"
Klein snarls.
"it's Gale."
I put my hand up and I shout back.
"Gale I'm not looking to fight, let's talk!"
and then after the both of us turn around and see
Gale standing there, he looks at both of us and shouts.
"so we meet again!"
as I slowly start to approach him with my hands still in the air, I shout at him.
"so do you agree that we're just going to talk?!"
he also approaches me slowly and shouts.
"alright if you want to have a talk let's talk, but keep that werewolf under control!"
I respond.
"yeah I'll make sure to do that!"
I then say to Klein.
"remember what I said."
as he nods his head, I turn back to Gale and continue to walk towards him, until we are about five feet from eachother, he then asks me.
"so what do you want to talk about?"
I respond.
"about dropping my charges, I did not murder Rosie."
he replies.
"that is not my decision to make, King Tully and Clyde have already decided your guilt, so they are the only one who have the power to do that."
I insist.
"come on are you really going to believe that bastard Clyde, and don't you have some kind of power to decide?"
he replies.
"he may be a bastard, but that it's not my place to question them."
I then think to myself.
"he must have some doubts, but he's still willing to follow orders blindly."
he then continues.
"even if you're innocent with the murder of Rosie, you're still guilty in killing those who were tracking you down."
I reply in anger.
"it was self defense, you really think I was just going to let them kill me!?"
he replies.
"it doesn't matter, your fate was already decided the moment we were alerted that you were here."
Klein shouts at me from behind?
"Collin watch out!"
I turn and see Klein holding on to an assassin that was about to stab me, I then take the assassin's dagger and as I stab him through the head, I shout at Gale.
"damn you Gale!"
Gale then shouts back.
"you and I both knew that it was going to turn out like this!"
the sound of lightning echoes through the air and a downpour of rain starts falling as me and Klein ready ourselves for a fight with Gale.
